Walked in on my little brother was watching an old dream manhunt video. He said "Look, this was our favourite one. With the cool boat jump. I wanted to watch it again its been so long."

My brother is 12 and has no idea of the dream situation, he just knows I used to be a fan of dream's videos and wanted to rewatch the ones I'd shown him back when I was his age. I watched the rest of it with him, saw his face light up at every dramatic chase and crazy twist, and it damn near made me cry.

This thing. This stupid fucking block game played by a shitty person and his friends. This is what I got attached too. Got my little brother attached too. I had to listen to him sing dream's praises throughout the whole video, parroting exactly what I'd told him years earlier. I didn't have the heart to tell him to stop. Because I knew exactly what he would say. He'd say exactly what I would have said.

I honestly feel disgusting. I feel horrible that I let that man's content on my tv. I feel horrible that I got my brother into his content. I feel horrible about the dream hoodie still sat at the bottom of my cupboard, because I'm too much of a coward to get rid of it. I tried to deny to myself for ages that dream was a bad person. I desperately didn't want someone who's content had genuinely made my life better to be a bad person. I'm wiser and honestly more cynical now, but my little brother isn't. I don't know what to tell him when he asks why I don't watch dream with him anymore. I don't have the heart to ruin it for him, like it was ruined for me. Because of this disgusting man who I fanboyed over for so long. I am so fucking done.

one of the (hopefully) very few serious posts i’ll ever make regarding drama/discourse/serious subjects about ccs

before i get into it though, i do wanna mention that people have been using tw and cw wrong throughout this. please do not tag your posts as ‘tw person’ and instead use ‘cw person’ because tws are reserved for thinks that will actually trigger people. cws are for things that could trigger people (which is completely valid if you get triggered by it), but mostly just make people uncomfortable.

as of right now, dream and george will not be featured on my blog in any capacity. me pulling my support for dream may seem obvious, but george is kinda different i guess. truth is, george has always sorta given me the ick. at first i just had a gut feeling that “maybe i just don’t like him as much as i like the others” but then i watched the yard video of sapnap saying that george is an asshole, and he wouldn’t be friends with him if he hadn’t known him for years. i feel like a part of that has to be also because of the public. it would be so much easier to cut a friend off and move out if you didn’t have millions of people who would blow up at you and send you hate for doing so.

i will still be writing for and supporting sapnap.

this blog is no place for discourse. i don’t wanna sit here and complain about dream for hours, however i was at one point a cc dream supporter. i may lose followers over this, but i’d rather lose followers for not liking dream than losing followers because people think i’m willing to defend him.
