Just now noticing the way Strahm fidgets with the pen while watching the tape of Hoffman and Jill, and I love it cuz
A. it’s very cool foreshadowing, especially considering he’s holding it right by his neck
B. tehe he stimming, which again, the amount of men his age in agencies like the FBI or CIA who have undiagnosed autism is more than you would think
C. something something Freudian, Hoffman got him up playing with his penis

also i straight up had no idea you could talk to this guy. For context, hes one of the paralyzed drow the spectator revives during its fight in the underdark.
this playthrough was the least hectic spectator fight ive ever had and I and was able to take out the big guy before killing any of the Drow. Dhourn's combat portrait was yellow, and then he started talking to me once I left combat.
(And then he ended the convo and initiated combat with me--very rude. So I killed him with fungus magic)

Every time I play Pokémon Scarlet I always end my play session by running over to Arven's room to complain about something or to give him a summary of what i did or whatever
Which is ESPECIALLY funny when it comes to the DLC because my character is flying across ENTIRE REGIONS just to complain to this poor man
Door slams open "Arven you will not BELIEVE the audacity of this bitch-"
"What the hell are you doing here???"

Ever think about Date’s view on family and how that relates to his character? When Mizuki asks him to define family, he just awkwardly offers that its like being blood related to someone. It leaves a bitter taste in his mouth and Mizukis, but like, he literally had no idea what a real family looks like. He’s an orphan, a man who grew up with no family and no name, but he doesn’t know that yet. He has no memory of his past, no way of knowing if there’s someone out there waiting for him to come home, if he even had a place to call home. His only frame of reference for a family is Mizuki and her parents. Deep down he knows it’s not right, not loving, but it fits the mold of a nuclear family, man and woman, blood related, so that must be what family is. When he’s asked to take in Mizuki, he’s absolutely clueless because he literally has zero frame of reference for how a child is supposed to be cared for. He puts distance between them because this isn’t his place, he doesn’t have the right to love this child as his own because he isn’t the real dad. There’s no place for someone like him in a family. And it’s baffling to him to hear that Mizuki not only loves him, she needs him because he is her family. Date believes he’s a nobody, just a sad, lonely man with no name who absolutely does not deserve this kind of love. But he has it anyway because he chooses it, he makes something that neither he nor Mizuki have ever had before. HES HOME

I’m actually so bummed that theres barely any lewis centric f1 fics and how they all make it seem like its a sin for him to bottom?? Like i could do a whole analysis on hyper masculinity and black men but dude…power bottom minimum pillow princess at his peak.
I’m like sitting here scrolling and watching people refuse to use the tagging system, which I get can be complicated but please tag your fics. Theres so many max and charles and seb ones and even the nico ones that arent tagged when lewis is romantically involved but otherwise the charles x daniel ones are tagged to the nines.
I guess I’m done binging for f1 fics but idk man. I just feel like complaining I fear. He’s always the insensitive asshole in the fics and it makes me uncomfy cuz its almost exclusively him, the only black man…

Oh gosh… if Jay still retains his teleporting powers in Dragons Rising…
He is the terror of the office
This but worse
. . .
His ability to instantly transport paperwork from one side of the building to the other is what got him promoted (and subsequently start lazing off afterwards)
. . .
Amnesiac!Jay: What do you mean blipping from one room to the next in a burst of static is not a thing any other human can do?
. . .
Sharon: Dammit, Walker beat us to the first coffee of the morning!!! Again!!!
Barbara: Ugh, and everyone knows the first brew is always the best one!
Jay: *warps in* Hey, gotta keep these powers fueled somehow. But feel free to treat yourself to the broken coffee maker, Sharon. *warps away*
Sharon: *&^%$#^%$#!!!!!
. . .
Tom: They say that Agent Walker somehow always knows when you're slacking on paperwork...and he's always appears right behind you without fail! He just knows, man!
Josh: Psssh, you're pulling my leg, Tom.
Jay: And I'm kicking your ass. GET BACK TO WORK!
Tom + Josh: *high pitched screams of horror*

Just got myself to read a spoiler accidentally of The Summer I Turned Pretty and found out that Jeremiah Fisher turns out to be a frat boy in the third book and you want me to believe that this boy who was the most supportive of Belly's choices throughout the summer and cared for everyone around him decided to give away all of his morals and cheat on her?! Like c'mon he was so sweet throughout the first two books and then JH turns him to be some nightmarish toxic guy and I won't believe it. This character development is unbelievable, it feels more like the author didn't find any flaws in him in order for Belly to choose Conrad and she just made Jeremiah the flaw and I'm team Jere from the very beginning and book 3 doesn't exist for me and if s3 gets a similar ending with Jeremiah as the problem than I'm gonna plainly ignore it exists.
