Ask Game for someone's OC ∘₊✧───────────────────────────────✧₊∘ ✨- How did you come up with the OC’s name?

JAJSDJKFSDFKJ kidding aside I do like searching for the meaning and origin of names when I create OCs, and the same process goes when I made Madison!

The motifs I leaned on when I was brainstorming Madison's identity and background were religion and so I searched for important names and figures in Christianity. I think I settled with the name Madison as it had meanings of strength and determination. Also, when I was growing up people would tell me that one interpretation of the name means "son of Matther, gift from God" and I just think it'd be ironic and a little ✨quirky and funny✨ if said "gift" from above had horns like the devil and a (seemingly) murderous intent in her genes 🙈

Just as a bonus explanation, I also applied that motif of religions and all when I picked the names of Madison's family members!

Raphael and Gabriel being the archangels of God, Evelyn and her surname Adams possibly alluding to the characters of Adam and Eve from the book of Genesis…. You get it 😉 Do the symbolisms behind me choosing their names tie in loosely with their overall character? Somewhat, yes! I really just wanted to use names from the Bible to keep that theme consistent LOL 🤪

🧊 - Is their current design the first one?

Nope! I'd say that Madison's design now was the 2nd iteration I came up with when I worked on her. I did post art some time back on what the first design looked like next to Madi's final one which really wasn't a lot of change except for hairstyle and colors.

In the process, I changed her colors scheme from dark browns and pinks to reds, brown, and gold as I wanted to have her fit in more with the muted color scheme the Crusaders got from Part 3 compared to the likes of say, the main cast of Part 5 or Part 6.

When I worked on Madison's final design, I did come up with 2 color palettes, and I did dig both so maybe I might just have one be the manga colors and the other the TVA one LOLOLOL
