The car was a fabulous, at least two horsepower engine car with a lot of headroom, a glorious amount of trunk space, and also it looked exactly like an apple. The Waddle Dees (some still with a bit of turf or dirt stuck ot their faces) had to push the thing off to its (clearly VERY EXCITED) winner.

"Just blushing pink with glee, aren't we? Well, feel free to test out that new car in today's challenge!

Fight your way to victory at the end of the race course! The one who's vicious enough to knock as many of your fellow racers out, and completes the track in the fastest time, will be getting another amazing prize!"

There's also some mansion Miis who'll be filling in the roster of drivers, just to have some butts in kart seats.

so, i was wondering about that mirror AU. first off i wanna say, i really like the designs. but i did have a few questions.

So first off, for Magolor, you say he's basically blind but it looks like he has an eye in his mouth like the original soul version. Is that not an eye or am I just going crazy?

Secondly, You mentioned how Adeline is the most normal of them. So are all the characters basically insane and if so, how would you say they rank on the sanity scale?

And finally, and I just have to ask this being a fan of both these characters, but you mentioned that Magolor has someone to help guide him, being blind. Is there by any chance that this seeing-eye jester you mentioned happens to be Marx?

ohhh hi!! tysm for asking about this! i'm really glad people took an interest in those mirror world counterparts, it means a lot :]]

ok, to start, i'm gonna talk about adeleine and sanity :D (since the two magolor questions tie in with each other and bc i like talking about her)

here is the "sanity" scale! i put this in quotes because they are all a little bit insane in their own ways <3

adeleine is the "most normal" here, not because she is mentally sane, but because she basically lives the same life she had pre-DL3 (living alone in cloudy parks, surrounded by her living discarded WIPs, having various temper tantrums). obviously, she still plays a role in the mirror-world version of 64:CS, but she let the whole "shiver star oh my god. earth is dead. humans are gone and i'm the only one left" thing completely take over her psyche. she stays up in the clouds, desperately trying to remember life on earth, and maybe– just maybe, convince herself that she's not alone.

magolor is doing surprisingly okay here?? like, sure he barely managed to scrape his way out of purgatory, and now has the remains of his wrongdoings etched into his body, but he's taking it like a champ 👍👍 he denies what happened to him was his fault (even when it totally was), and because of it, his AD experience was ramped up to 11. he feels no remorse for his betrayal, and instead no longer fights kirby simply because he gave up trying. he's also got the whole..eye and crown thing going on. so.

elfilin is next, with him basically being confined to the Pickle Jar. he's trapped in his own mind (forever wandering the isolated isles) and just kinda floats there, waiting for something to save him from an eternity of chaos. i put him above adeleine because of the situation that leads him there in the first place. since the initial splitting of elfilis/elfilin was a lot more messy, it means that they're stuck in a yin-yang scenario. instead of completely good, elfilin is mostly good, and that sliver of darkness increased his susceptibility to fecto forgo, drawing him to lab discovera. the beast pack captures him and tries to fuse him with forgo, but because of the discordance, it's taking a lot longer. the "good" part of elfilin hangs on, trapped in his dreams and slowly losing his grip, which is represented by his constant crying of the blood cell-like orbs from chaos elfilis' fight.

ribbon is. not doing so hot here. not only is she on the verge of breaking (mentally and physically), she has essentially isolated herself to complete an impossible mission. since the crystal was smashed into thousands upon thousands of pieces, she'll likely spend the rest of her life searching for each shard. she wallows in guilt and self-depreciation (even though it's not her fault!!), and is also fighting off dark matter possession at any given point. her will is strong, but how long can she last?

okay!! magolor time!!

magolor's seeing-eye jester is indeed marx! (though he will kill you if you call him that) while mirror-marx is even less of a good choice to befriend than normal marx, their friendship still upholds :]

while yeah, magolor does have a huge-ass eye in his mouth, it's not him that's doing the seeing. the visual information goes straight to the master crown, if this makes sense.

the master crown's power has dulled, now forming a symbiotic relationship with him. magolor provides the crown with a body to host, and the crown's magic allows him survive AD, basic perception (he's not gonna run into a tree anytime soon, but can't read or see faces), and a huge ego boost.

Character Analysis: Sirica

Sirica.

 I've been thinking of this character like, a lot. Back then, during purgatory of reception week at formerly-known Fort Hood, I binged-watched KRBAY during my days slowly decaying in my barracks room going through the motions of being processed into my new unit. It was just comfort waves washing over me so a lot of details were mushy and I usually only watched it after I drank a lot. So I wasn't fully paying much attention to the episodes. 

Now, I have been rewatching it again to get some ideas (okay, mostly one episode) and this girl shows up for a sinful amount of short time in the entire series and she's the most interesting character ever?

I just realized something about episode 60. She has this really cool multi-weapon that isn't really made clear where she obtained it from but it does have the Holy Nightmare Logo on the handle. It seems like a high possibility that Holy Nightmare also manufactures weapons as well. 

Here's what I think and kind of connected these dots myself. I may not have been the only one to do it, but here's my humble take:

King Dedede is ordering his monster of the day. As he's talking about the "invader" CS speaks as if he knows of her. Immediately like "oh white alien girl?" there was some familiarity when talking about her. Also, I don't think it's a flimsy coincidence that CS sent the very monster that killed her mother. 

What am I getting at?

I think CS dude gave Sirica her weapon.

How would she have known that Meta Knight was on mission with her mother and the whole story of what went down? And not even really the whole story but somehow a painted version that Meta Knight left Garlude for dead? I think CS fed into it and I know that Kirby is target number one for elimination but the Star Warriors and Nightmare aren't exactly best friends. 

I fully believe it was in hopes that Sirica would take down Meta Knight AND Kirby but CS (who's canonically a dickhead) wanted to give Sirica a big hate boner for Meta Knight and then simply have Kirisakin just kill them all off. 

But I found it interesting that CS spoke of Sirica like he knew of her by extension through Garlude.

Also, Sirica sucks at aiming. Someone please give her aim bot. I'm not trying to paint her like some incompetent idiot, she's been around the block obviously, but I get the vibes she's still getting used to her weapon. I know it's a children's show and they can't exactly show characters getting riddled with holes but I like to think Sirica was only somewhat trained enough to use the weapon.

Like I couldn't totally see a young hot-blood, out for vengeance being easily manipulated and maybe CS guy casually training her. Like putting Sirica in some battle arena where she practiced against low-tier demon beasts. Honestly could totally see that. Then Sirica sent out on the hunt for Meta Knight after being spoon-fed some lies. 

Sirica knows how to use her weapon well enough to get what it needs to do and switch it to whatever she needs it to do but these are just some nuances I picked up on the English dub that I thought it'd be interesting if this were the case rather than "lol she must've stolen it". 

I may have glazed over some details, again I watched the English dub because I have to comb through YouTube and other sites to really find the episodes and the English dub is all I can really handle if I'm being honest. I could go into a little bit about how Meta Knight didn't immediately recognize Sirica either. Most likely because he never:

1. Has seen her grown up.

2. Never actually met her in the first place only heard of her through Garlude. 

I'm just saying Sirica had to remind him of her mother, and that can be chalked up to a lot of things because I'm sure Meta Knight has known a plethora of warriors in his time and has seen so many of them fucking die that eventually faces just start blurring together. 

Because life and precious time being against me, it has been a hot minute since I sat down and actually watched the anime. But I do casually still try to do so because now, as an adult, I can fully appreciate it more and even stem my own headcanons from it.

i also enjoy films in general, and pretty much go every week since i have a movie pass! and gaming! i've been mainly a nintendo person, so you can ask me all about that, but i also enjoy jrpgs as well! if you like kirby and fire emblem, i will literally lick your feet. i've also been getting into hero shooters like overwatch (i'm very bad shhh) but it's fun!

reading? i think that's pretty obvious! i just recently finished dark rise by cs pacat and babel by rf kuang.

and baking/cooking! i'm pretty much a house-son/sibling in my family at this moment since i finished school, but i've been baking a lot more these days. don't wanna toot my own horn, but my cookies and brownies are... delicious.

dislikes... i hate unorganized spaces or being unhygienic, flakkflakla. like, i legit do not even go to public bathrooms and have held in my bladder for a day because i didn't want to use my friend's bathroom. i'm pretty easy to please! just be kind and friendly, and we'll have a great time. c:

I would love to know more about your future Kirby AU. Is it one of those 'now we focus on everyone's kids' things? also who the heck would have a kid with CS or do I want to know fhgdfskj And Client Relations is great and I love her

In a way, yes! The AU takes place about twenty years in the future. All the characters are grown up and living their best lives.

Fumu/Tiff becomes Cappy Town’s cabinet minister. She spends a lot of time working and keeping an eye on King Dedede. However, Fumu still follows Kirby, her niece, and her nephew around to make sure they stay out of trouble.

Bun/Tuff is one of the few characters I haven’t figured out what to do with yet. But I do have the idea that he starts his own family. He’s a lot more mature, but tends to be lenient on his kids’ misbehavior.

Kirby is still a little baby. His vocabulary and skills have improved significantly, but he’s still just a lil lad. He continues to live with Fumu and be a kid.

Meta Knight left Cappy Town to return to help the Star Warriors. Although Nightmare has been “defeated,” many of his projects and followers are still at large. The Star Warriors continue to fight in order to ensure the safety of the Galaxy. Meta Knight does end up building another Halberd and branches off to form the Meta-Knights. (Yes, he does come back for the au. I love meta knight too much to ignore him)

Sword and Blade Knight still live in Cappy town, however. They act as King Dedede’s royal knights. Aka “make sure the king doesn’t do something stupid” knights. They’re still extremely loyal to Meta Knight and frequently send him letters. They make sure to keep Kirby’s skill sharp too!

King Dedede has matured over the years, but he’s still causes all sorts of trouble. He enjoys spending money throwing festivals and parties to pass the time. Now and then, King Dedede will throw a waddle dee or two at Kirby to mess with him. It isn’t until he meets Client Relations that he starts diving back into his old behaviors.

Escargoon is still Escargoon. He’s just gotten better at watching the king be an idiot. I do like to imagine that he adopted a little rascal.

Now, for Client Relations… she’s very much the definition of a starving artist. After failing to start her own artistic career, she eventually stumbles upon a dilapidated N.M.E Fortress. CR decides to settle there and not return home a failure. This ultimately led to the remnants of Nightmare discovering and manipulating Client Relations. She now spends her days making toys, which turn into monsters, to sell to King Dedede. And about her parents.. I’m not very certain myself.

(Sorry this post is super long! I had a lot of fun coming up with ideas for the AU)

Christine would be sectonia, Raoul would be Taranza, Dark meta knight would be the phantom because of the whole mirror thing, I think lady like could be Carlotta, Escargoon and CS could be Andre and firmin, Madam giry and meg would be garlude and sirica

just left cs and already feel like a weight has been lifted off my back even though I didn't spend money on anything closed species was ruining how I enjoy art. The art I put out isn’t bad it’s that they favor popular people over newer people. GOOD NEWS IS that I can ask my parents to buy things that are worthwhile like merchandise and dlc packs for my favorite game.

How did this blog form? - Well, originally, it was simply a support group for antagonists’ assistants. The people they make do some of the heavier lifting. Once we realized there weren’t as many of us as we thought though, we decided to cut the “assistants” bit and focus solely on the antagonist part.
