I actually don’t really have a lot to say at this point? But I figure yall wanna hear my thoughts, especially after my disappointment with Security Breach.

I’m very pleased they are releasing free DLC-- this is the first part of what I hoped SW would do when I purposed how to rectify the situation over SB’s lackluster characters and story (animatronics aside, at least). Now, they just have to fix the plot. I think even those who love everything about FNAF were disappointed in William’s half assed comeback when we were all expecting Glitchtrap-William to have a more looming but not physical prescence. I hope this still returns here, especially since I’d imagine the Afton ending is canon (I mean it was the only one that got animated... still pissed off about how lazy the “cinematic endings” were--my irritation over the comic book aesthetic being overused and irritating aside--but I won’t go into a rant about Persona 5 here either lol)

Not much to speculate from the image. The broken statue looks like the one from the Afton ending IMO--and the girl (also IMO) could be Cassidy or one of the other missing children. Perhaps the missing children were together at some point and when Gregory presumably goes missing based on this teaser / the ending, this kid may have found clues and gone to investigate.

I refuse to believe Elizabeth is involved whatsoever, as it’s pretty lazy writing. I don’t believe in Gregbot either. This is a new character.

My first instinct upon seeing her was, however, “Dear god, another NEW character? Couldn’t we have developed the others?!” BUT that was a gut reaction and I’m actually looking forward to seeing one of Gregory’s friends, or even another new unrelated kid, try to take part in whatever the plot thinks is happening (I think William, through Vanessa, was kidnapping children and experimenting with their souls using the puppet-bots [I don’t remember WTF they are... staff bots?] which explains the sticky notes and the, well, the puppet-ness / cryingchild-ness of the deformed staff bots. This could be one of those kidnapped children that has escaped, maybe from another part of the Pizzeria we didn’t see before... or maybe she was underground somewhere and the ending’s explosion let her out.)

This is all theory of course. My hopes are the old cast before SB are least-involved as possible. Obviously I wouldn’t be upset about William (he is the main villain, even if I’d prefer Vanessa to have taken the role or a Glitchtrap-posessed Vanessa). I’d love to see Henry, too, but not sure what we could do with his character (still gonna headcanon GlamHenry over here...) I’ve expressed my irritation with Elizabeth being reused in the FF novels after having a good, foil role to Charlie in the trilogy--having her in this game is going to be overkill. Just don’t do it.) I want William to go out in a literal blaze of glory and not the rehashed trash we saw.

I guess that’s all I can say. Just fix the plot, SW. I could give a shit about graphics/bugs, just make me give a damn again.
