Christian DeVil with a cool goth s/o

* I made these headcanons, I hope that’s ok

First things first, Christian loves your sense of fashion, it’s not far off from his but enough to be different and make him excited

He especially likes your use of leather pieces and heavy black eyeliner (one time got him to agree to trying the black eyeliner and you had such a great time and he looked so hot)

I picture him loving to shop with you. He loves to go with you to thrift, oh how he loves thrifting. His favorite is when you are able to find a piece of clothing you want to up-cycle and then he does it for you, it makes him feel needed

And if you don’t really need his help he still appreciates that if you did need help he’d be there

Oh if you share the interest of fashion oh man you have brought Christian to his knees. And maybe you don’t even really have to be interested in it as a personal thing but if you learn more about it for him ugh!

This goes both ways because even though he dresses in black a lot, goth is not something he’s really familiar with, he’s more of a furs kinda guy so you teach him more about your special interest in the fashion

And he loves to hear you talk about anything you are passionate about, the more passion the better

Christian himself is a very ‘cool’ person so your energies match well

Occasionally one of you have your overly cool moments that is able to break the others facade and fluster them. Sometimes you have battles of who is able to do that the most.

Seeing Christian blush is just ah, it’d make me pass away

But back to y’alls passion for fashion

On non busy days, Christian has you come into his office with to do whatever. Sometimes you help him with fashion concepts other times you’re just emotional support.

He’ll let you professionally model clothes for if if that’s something you’d be interested in. Obviously he’d make sure you were well trained in the model industry because while he loves you more than fashion he needs everything to be perfect (I may be projecting a little here but anyway)

If not he still has you try things on for him at home. He loves to use you to see his ideas/designs on a live model

Overall Christian loves you and your sense of style

Cruella DeVil and just the au as a whole plz🥺

This was a fun AU, I really had fun making these mood boards. I hadn’t actually thought about turning it into a full fledged AU, especially because these villains are from completely different worlds. But I really enjoy thinking about these as desperate AUs.

Cruella is one of my favorites. That and Maleficent as Jack. Truly iconic.

But here’s Race’s story, based mostly on the newest Cruella movie with a few added whump twists.

Buckle up.

When Race was young, he was attached to father’s leg. He was a shy little boy and hid behind the man at every opportunity. He was quiet and withdrawn, the only person he opened up to was his father. Until one day, of course, when his father went into a strange party and was knocked off of a cliff by the dogs that were at their owners beck and call. Race watched his father fall, so young, so much to give to the world. Race’s father was the only one who ever understood him, who knew that Race wasn’t like any other child.

Race was creative and wild, just waiting to be set free.

After Race watches his father die, he runs, nearly falling off the cliff himself and somehow being saved by the very same dogs that just killed his father. They protect him and hide him from their master like they know him and Race narrowly manages to escape with nothing left of his father. He sleeps in the middle of a park where two other boys, brothers, find him and accuse him of trying to take their spot. They throw him into a fountain and try to take back their place but Race watches them from behind, begging and stealing money to survive and Race manages to get more money than the both of them combined.

That’s how Race becomes a part of the Delancey gang.

They grow up together, conning and thieving their way through their young lives as Race and Oscar grow closer and closer, eventually falling for each other. Morris doesn’t like this at all. He didn’t hate Race. He just didn’t like that Race was stealing his brother from him. He also didn’t like Race’s fascination with dogs and the need to protect the mutts on the street.

Oscar, however, was trying to find any way he could to make Race happy. They were teenagers in love. Oscar found Race a job at a fashion company, knowing that Race wanted to design and model clothing, and Race ended up becoming a janitor, hating his life, much to Morris’s amusement. However, it isn’t long before Race manages to stand out enough to become noticed by his favorite designer and hired as a designer that gets no credit for his work. Oscar is determined to help him while Morris insists he stick it out. Race plans to stick it out before the designer, Mr. Obadiah Weisel is seen wearing a pendant that Race recalled his father owning many years ago.

Morris does the research needed to prove that it was the Weasel that killed his father that night and thus, Race starts planning his revenge.

He adopts an alter ego, named Cruella DeVil, a feminine designer who makes extravagant and original designs, giving Weasel a run for his money and trying to dethrone him as well as drag his name through the mud. He enlists the help of the Delanceys to try and get the pendent back but is caught by Weasel’s security, his right hand. A kind young man by the name of Jack Kelly who recognizes Race and insists he run before getting caught.

The trio still attempts to take Weasel down, until Morris devises his own plan to get rid of Race once and for all by outting him and Oscar to Weasel. Race is nearly killed and Morris convinces Oscar it was Race who sold him out, leaving Oscar to allow Morris to beat and assault him before leaving Race all on his own. It is Jack who manages to find Race and take care of him, revealing to him who Weasel truly is.

Jack explains that he was a little boy when Race was born and he knew Race’s mother well, as she was his own mother and a servant in Weasel’s mansion. Weasel had assaulted her and gotten her pregnant. He later had Jack’s mother taken away to a mental facility and sent the baby with a man named Bryan, a servant in Weasel’s house, to drown the baby as Weasel did not want a scandal to follow him. Bryan instead stole a pendant from Weasel, intending to sell it and gain enough money to raise the baby himself as he ran off with him. Bryan, however, never ended up needing to sell the thing, as he had money left over from working with Weasel.

Jack explains that he stayed with Weasel hoping to track down his long lost brother and it took a little longer than he’d hoped.

Race hatches a new plan, with Jack’s help, to steal Weasel’s dogs and leave him defenseless. Race then makes a coat out of the dogs fur, though he doesn’t actually, and making a mockery out of Weasel who has now hired the Delanceys as his own personal security.

Thus begins Race’s true villain era.

I still don’t know how to described last week, except it was something that happened 🥹

If you somehow didn’t catch up, I was on display in THE art museum of Orlando, FL!

Being a featured creator and have 5 of my creations in the hallowed galleries of the OMA, next to 15th century paintings, is something I’d never expect to actually happened.

Yesterday was the yearly garage sales in my neighborhood. Waking up at 6am a sunday morning is not something I usually do but I wanted to be outside just I time for the opening ^^

I didn't find anything extra fancy but I am happy with what I got: -some G1 MH I wanted double of. -a lot of Disney Stuff for realllllly cheap! o(≧▽≦)o -a bunch of Farthing Wood's mag (I already have most of them but not all! (⁀ᗢ⁀).)

And also, this batch of 90s Barbies (in horrible shapes for most of them (T_T) but I wanted the Teen Talk and Fancy Frills outfits so I took everything!)

Warnings: slight against to come but it all turns out fluffy in the end so for this part nothing really

Summary: You are scrolling through your tiktok and you find a new designer, who’s going designs you really love, When a package from said designer comes in the mail Christian gets quite jealous at what all is in the box

On a boring Tuesday afternoon you were scrolling through tiktok when you happened to stumble upon an on the rise designer who’s work really impressed you. And while extensive fashion knowledge wasn’t your forte, you do listen to Christian when you rambles on about different aspects of what he has to do throughout his day so, you know enough. You liked the video you saw and decided to explore his page to see what all else the person could do.

About an hour passes and Christian comes home. You're still very engrossed in stalking this designer’s page (you ended up following him too) “hey dove,” Christian greets as he sets his things down on the island table. You look up from your phone and greet him with a warm smile “hi” but then you immediately look back down at your phone. Your boyfriend furors his brows a bit but shrugs it off because whatever. “What are you up to, hmmmm” “oh, nothing. I just found this creator on tik tok that I really liked and got invested in their page” you respond. Christian nods his head and says “cool” and not putting anymore thought or care into it, because why should he.

You guys settle down for the night, after already having dinner and watching an episode of your favorite show, to you bed. You find yourself back in that designers page looking at all his work. He just posted a video showing off a new custom piece he made and was auctioning it off to his followers. Interested in it you comment how you would like it. Almost immediately he replies back saying “omg I love you so much, dm me your shipping address, this piece is yours” Slightly shocked by his “I love you” but thinking it was just because you post funny, wholesome videos on insight into you and your famous boyfriends life, you decide to dm the creator.

You:Hello, you are so very kind for gifting me piece

Him: Oh of course! I’m such a big fan of your boyfriend and of you. I love to watch the cute videos you post of the two of you.

You: Aww, why thank you! And like you asked the shipping address is 34213 De-Vil Estates.

Him: No problem, and thank you! I’ll make sure to get this to you ASAP!

Christian leans his onto your shoulder, “who ya’ texting” he peers down at your phone. “Oh, that tik toker I told you about earlier. He’s a designer and posted a video about giving away this really beautiful dress and I commented that I would like it, not thinking much of it because a lot of people were. But anyway he responded to my comment by saying to dm him, which leads us to here,” you say , letting Christian look at your messages. “Hmm” is all you get from him in response. “Hmm, is that a good hmm or a bad hmm” “nothing just a hmm” Christian replies “it’s just, I don’t know, I could’ve made you a dress like that if you liked it and really wanted it.” “I know that,” you say “but sometimes I like to support others who aren’t as successful, and who are trying to get their name out there” “yeah”he says “you’re not upset are you babe?” you ask, turning a bit to face him “no no” he responds, turning to look at you also. “Let’s just go ahead to bed, huh? I’ve got an early morning tomorrow and I wanna snuggle with you to sleep” Christian says, trying to get of the topic of his maybe jealousness. You were about to interject and state that there was no reason for him to be upset, but considering it seemed like him just wanted to drop the topic, you agreed. You put your phone on your bedside table and snuggled down into your covers, cuddling up to Christian and laying your head down in his chest.

When you wake up the next morning, Christians side of the bed is vacant, which is to be expected. You get get and continue on with your morning routine, eating breakfast and getting ready for your job. Grabbing your keys you head out your car and get on your way.

A lot of time passes by and Christian is home first. He made sure to grab the mail and is about to head back inside when he sees a package on the front porch. He’s a little confused because he can’t remember ordering anything recently and you hadn’t mentioned ordering anything either. Then his minds trickles back to last night and the dress. But he thinks that that person couldn’t have gotten the package to you that quickly, surely right? He takes the package inside none the less.

A little while latter and you arrive back home. “There’s a package here for you” Christian says as soon as you walk through the door. “And hello to you too” you laugh out, setting your things down and walking over to your package. You then are like “I’ll need a knife” and go over to the draw to grab one.

Slicing the sides and down the middle of the box you set down the knife to open up the box to reveal a letter on top of a layer of tissue paper, addressed to you. You set it to the side at the moment and open the tissue paper.

Under the paper you are greeted by a cute small sleek black heart shaped purse with matching accent colors to the dress under it. You gasp at the purse, picking it up and admiring it. You then grab the dress and unfold it and hold it out in front of you.

“Oh it’s gorgeous!” you exclaim as you now bring it up to hold against your body. You look up at Christian, “what do you think baby?” “I love it” he says earnestly, looking it up a down. “I need to remember to thank that tik toker yet again… better yet! I’ll make a post tagging him in it! I think that would be nicer, what do you think?” you turn to Christian.

*I’m sorry this took so long and that it’s going to need a part two. Life is hectic but expect a more works to come in the near future

Finally watched Cruella.

Thought it was a really good film but I have some issues with it.

We know cruella for her animal coats, so giving her a backstory and making her sympathetic feels weird. Especially since in the 101 dalmatians film she kidnaps dogs to make coats of them. Which makes it very conflicting for me to like her.

You can of course see it separate and ignore her tendency to kill animals but still. And yes she's a villain, evil to the core. But then why make a film making her a sympathetic character?

The second big issue I had was with the ending. One of the dalmatians she got, gets pregnant and she seems to give out two pups (pongo and perdita) which are the dogs that get together and have kids in the 101 dalmatians film. So they're siblings? Did Disney think this through or just hope that people wouldn't think of the obvious incest their old classic now shows? Maybe we're meant to believe they're not siblings but that would make the framing of the ending make no sense. We see her pregnant dog, we see the two pups being gifted?

Either way, it still was a good film. You just gotta ignore the original classic. The fashion was incredible and the character writing was pretty good. A good 8/10 for me.
