My Random Criminal Minds Opinions

As much as I love Jemily I love JJ with Will, I think he is very under appreciated, he's so good to JJ (and I love how sweet and accepting he is of her and Spencers friendship) & also I love his accent lmao

I think Rossi is as good of a profiler as the rest of the team, I think his attitude isn't as intense as the others which might be why people think he's a bad profiler? idk I've also always seen him as the character that shows up when people need an unbiased clear opinion to get them out of their heads, like the voice of reason?

I don't understand Hotch being shipped with ANYONE on the team, he does not have that kind of chemistry with his coworkers

I love that Tara's bisexual but I did not like her with that woman, they had no chemistry

Luke and Penelope need to get together ASAP, they'd be like the golden retriever couple

I wish Elle got a better send off, I don't like the way her story ended they could've done it differently and I wish we got to see her say goodbye to everyone

I hate that they keep giving Spencer potential love interests then going nowhere with it

Emily had NO chemistry with that man, keep him away from her

he’s not, if we put to all the things that make a great agent. fitness, best shot, smart, most experienced and a bunch of other things.

personally i love reid to pieces but i don’t think he’s the best agent, personally i think derek was the best agent but yk your not allowed opinions on tiktok.

people will straight up get personal when attacking you if you don’t believe reid is the best at everything

penelope is also hella underrated they wouldn’t have solved half the cases if not for her.

Spencer Reid is the type to send you essay messages every morning before you wake up. He does it every day no matter what he's doing or what part of the country/world he's in. This man is the SWEETEST ever. People portray him as like a very work oriented person and he obvs is but it's so much so that he often pushes away his partner in fics. But I think he would be so great at balancing it he's literally so smart guys. Like maybe he's not so great at people and emotions, but he's not stupid. He'd be such a good boyfriend :(

to be honest, i fucking hate when people use the scene after spencer talks w cat in “date night” for “hot” edits/thirst traps because clearly he was having a panic attack

like oh yes, he’s clearly distressed after confronting someone who tormented him, he rips off his tie because he can’t breathe, and then lashes out (don’t even get me started on how the later seasons gloss over spencer’s anger issues after prison), wowza so attractive :/

Nahh, I can't see that happening because Gubler would complain about the lack of colorful mismatched socks and purple anything so immediately the second he saw the horrific amounts of gray and brown, maybe a beige thrown in. As much as Reid is a stereotypical nerd that did wear brown and gray, colorful mismatched socks are literally canonically Spencer's Thing. Plus, he likes color, too.

S1ep1, he's literally wearing a color that's not gray or brown.

Like, he would at least try to compromise and ask for a shade of green and a Comme de Garçons cardigan with a little heart. Maybe colorful converse just for old times sake.

I find the discourse about Spencer & JJ and the way they act with each other to be SO exhausting, like are you not tired of trying to argue about who's right in situations? Like either side says one is worse than the other or one's insensitive, rude, mean etc.

Like let's be real, although they're best friends they're very very different people and imo they bicker like siblings, they have a very sibling dynamic.

I think in all the situations people discuss, both sides have very valid points and both JJ and Spencer's reactions are understandable. There doesn't always have to be a right and wrong person in every situation, sometimes both reactions and emotions are valid and I think that's the case with the majority of Spencer and JJ arguments.

Me and my best friend are on s11 and have noticed a weird increase in jj just.. Following spencer around. Never is it the other way around, it's always jj? Why are you following him around if you want him to stop being himself(direct quote from s10). Be SO fr. I want to like jj because she started off as one of my favorites but she's just starting to make me REALLY mad(kinda illogically I'm admittedly being dramatic.) Like how can you have friend like Spencer Reid and treat him the way she does?? That last thing kinda goes for the whole team, the way they get annoyed with Spencer when he's telling them things makes me like physically violent because he's so interesting when he talks??? Like how would you not want to hear about what he has to say. And it's somehow only gotten worse the farther into the show I get.

unpopular opinion: i like pre-prison reid more than post-prison reid. one of the things i loved most about spencer was the way he was so soft and smiley despite all the trauma he's been through. now he just seems so sad and anxious all the time. he also slowly started to present more neurotypically and not that its a bad thing, but his neurodivergent tendencies are what made reid who he is in the earlier seasons. it was also nice to have a character i relate to as a neurodivergent person. he js doesnt smile as much anymore and that makes me sad tbh but i dont blame him considering the trauma and torture he's been through. i still love post-prison reid ofc but i wish we still had the old spencer :(

because of this tweet, people are speculating that Jemily is endgame in s17. And for the love of everything holy, I hope not. Getting together with your best friend for almost 15 years immediately after a divorce from your husband of ~10 years just cheapens their friendship and relationship with your sons' father. It's a really low storyline even for CM, sorry.
