It’s been 2 years since I stumbled back onto this hellsite (affectionate) and I have reached another follower milestone! Can’t believe it’s 2023 and people are still choosing to follow me and my antics, but I’m so appreciative to all my followers for continuing with me on this journey.

So to celebrate both these accomplishments, I am hosting a two part event:

For Creators

This is for all creators of any of the following fandoms: Supernatural, Schitt’s Creek, Our Flag Means Death, Stranger Things, and Bridgerton. I’ve put together prompts based on things that have become staples of my blog these past two years. I’ve also added quotes and color palettes to each as well for some further inspiration. Feel free to interpret them anyway you wish, and use as many (or as few) in your creations as you want.

Anyone in the mood to watch/rewatch 🎥 Legend of the Seeker?? Cause @klinejack and I sure are!!

We're both gifmakers so we wanted to also have a lil creative challenge along the way - open to anyone who wants to join - not limited to gifs!

We also came up with a few rules to go along with the prompts to make it a lil more interesting: we are starting with season one and we can use each prompt only once! And no peeking or planning a prompt for a future episode no-no-no!!

The past year or so's been a wild ride for me in many ways but something particularly special happened to me, and that's gaining extremely talented, warm, and encouraging new friends along the way. I've been on spnblr for over a decade (a feat in itself 🥲), but haven't felt like a true part of the community until recently, and I have my friends to thank for that! Many of whom are very talented, mostly self-taught (!!!!!) editors in their own right!! I've loved editing for as long as I can remember and always jump at the chance to celebrate editing as a craft as much as I can because.... well! I don't think enough people do! The spn amv editor community truly has kept the magic alive, celebrating characters, relationships and the heart of a show that a whole lot of people simply cant help but love through the use of music and video.

Tag correctly! Trigger warnings (including cheating!), ships, ratings, (pure) smut, etc - it’s all fine as long as you tag it.

There’s absolutely no word count restriction, write as little or as much as you like.

In regards to art, anything goes: drawings, paintings, collages, mood boards, gifsets, videos, playlists… the sky’s the limit (though not really…)

While we can’t force you to write fluff or create fluffy art, please try to keep in mind that this is a fluff event 😉

You can start writing and/or arting as soon as you see this - but please refrain from posting before the respective day.

No p*dophilia: This rule does not rule out fandoms that feature teenagers such as Harry Potter, Heartstoppers, Hunger Games, etc. It also doesn't mean you can't write about their time together as teenagers! It was mostly aimed at ships in which one is a minor and the other is not - but since even that got complicated over time, the rule is now this: if you keep it SFW, all is good and allowed, we don't care; if it turns NSFW, be mindful of the legalaties of the world/society/times your characters live in.

okay so now that it's actually crab day i just realized another thing that bothers me about it. it is still disability pride month. you're telling me. that we're throwing a Tumblr Fundraiser Holiday. in the midst of countless real disabled ppl trying to speak up about tumblr's unwillingness to fix massive issues like regularly letting dangerous, seizure inducing content get blazed and then suggesting that photosensitive users pay to make it stop instead of fixing the problem. during the month specifically about celebrating and listening to disabled people???

#people were trying to say that 'the creator being a bigot has nothing to do w the idea of the fundraiser' #but guess what! if you let a bigot come up w your event and choose a day they aren't going to take ppl outside of their bubble into account #people like say. the disabled people who have been raising these concerns. #sigh. #crab day #tungle dot hell #disability #disability pride month
