Esta semana me tocó por fin ver una película que me generó curiosidad desde que escuché de ella en el videobio de Jim Carrey que realizó Te lo resumo así nomas (aunque en ese video se hace más referencia al 'documental' que está en Netflix: Jim and Andy), sin más la película es:
Man On The Moon, Dir. Miloš Forman-(1999)
Continuo y al final dejo unos enlaces para ver la película en YouTube.
Bueno, para comenzar aquí algunos actores que conocía antes de la película y me parece que también fueron parte de la serie 'Taxi' y mención especial para Carol Kane que yo a usted la amo en Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (de donde la conozco. Y guapa, y guapa, y guapayguapayguapa).
Como mencioné arriba, tenía la curiosidad de ver Man of the moon por el tema de Jim Carrey y lo que pasó durante el rodaje; qué por cierto, me fue complicado encontrar la película en alguna plataforma de streaming habitual, razón por la que le terminé viendo y descargado desde Youtube, en sus dos versiones, perdón, pero es en prevención de que las bajen y no tenga otro medio de compartir esta película, (aprovecho para dejar los enlaces:

Bien, ya que está cerrado el paréntesis puedo decir que así como entré con curiosidad a esta película, salí emocionada, conmovida llena de curiosidad y ganas de aprender o entender mejor a Andy Kaufman, su creatividad, ideas, personas que lo entendieron, ver sus rutinas, su viaje, me parece loquísimo y me encanta.
Quería continuar en el mismo post, pero por cuestiones de la cantidad imágenes colocaré mi desenlace junto con el de la película y el de esta historia, nos vemos en la segunda parte.

I was absolutely blown away by Know My Name and wish I had made time to get to is sooner. Enraging, but also spirit filling.
Paladin of Souls was my first Lois McMaster Bujold book, but I’ll be looking into more of her books in the future. If you want a middle-aged female protagonist going on a fantasy adventure, this could be the book for you.
Goodreads Goal: 404/400 (I am stunned by this number. As I said before, I’m hoping to have the energy to do something other than listen to audiobooks in 2023 and will be happy to see this number not as high at the end of the year.)

I think it says something when you have a platoon of producers, good number of notable guests, yet you still flop and essentially get fired before even thinking about another season of the podcast. This confirms too that Spotify massaged the numbers, her squad as well tried to manipulate the number of plays per episode too. Also cements the fact that employees are in a revolving door, and she must be difficult to work with.
Notice how they always make a huge deal when they hire someone but only comment on someone leaving when the press finds out.
They have lost more staff in the 5 years they have been married than most corporations.

Four more Duncney fic ideas because self control? What's that?
-Duncan and Courtney get relationship therapy, and all of the advice they got on how to handle their problems maturely suck. Their friends are very annoyed.
-Gwen is wingman in Duncney getting back together. She is playing both sides. I just... really want to like Gwen. I wanna fix her.
-Duncan tries to fix Courtney and make her practice self care. The equilibrium is disrupted. (Literally just that one New Girl episode where Jess tries to fix Schmidt. Just checked, it's season one episode 16. I once turned it on in the car and played out the entire episode to TD characters in my head.)
-Total Dramarama fic in which Duncan gets hurt. Courtney is determined to follow the rule of reporting any injuries while Duncan is willing to do anything to make sure nobody finds out he got hurt. That's embarrassing for him :(
