I get told at college all the time that I don't look LGBT+ (they refuse to say queer, respectability politics is a helleva drug), I don't act it, no queer person is into my major or my hobbies, and it's weird that I'm queer but not into astrology or dressing more aesthetically ("are you a cottagecore or a dark academia gay?" I'm neither I'm a me) or playing Pokemon because outgrowing Pokemon is for cishets. People talk about gays/LGBT+ not being able to drive or do math or sit normally and then act like I'm some kind of ridiculous weirdo for not laughing at what they assure me is a true statement that does not apply to them or to me. People encourage me to experiment with my style or hair and "come out of your shell". I am informed I need to listen to certain musicians because all LGBT+ people are into them. It's weird that I'm not. It's even weirder I don't like The Owl House or hate Steven Universe or keep up with Heartstopper like the good queers do.

Basically it all boils down to, "Why can't you be more normal? Why can't you be like us?"

Because I'm not. My dad is a Pashtun Muslim and my mother is a Bukharan Jew. I have lived in the Deep South half my life and Wyoming the other half. My media interests are unrelated to queer rep and wholly based on liking the plots of things. I grew up on oldies and TV shows like Starsky and Hutch that my parents loved, pirated and played on repeat. I don't believe in astrology, I'm not a witch and I'm not an atheist with a Christocentric worldview who assumes all religions are Christianity Lite. I don't listen to the correct musicians mostly because I discover music entirely by accident and have a mishmash of genres and bands in rotation. Pokemon fell off and I'm not into it. I would sooner die than dye my Pashtun red hair that people made fun of me for as a kid. I like wearing button downs, clean shirts, nice jeans and my Magen David. None of this is incompatible with being queer. No one is going to kick me out of a gay club for not having played Pokemon Violet or listening to Tracy Chapman or trusting in science over crystals for healing.

And I really hate that after years of being avoided and pitied in high school by jackass backwards rednecks for being weird, I got to my dream university, the university in the most liberal city in Montana, and get the same fucking treatment.

Commenters like the one anon mentioned remind me of all the people who act like I'm doing it wrong. What is 'it', in that sentence? Living my life. Being queer. And when it crops in fandom - and I've gotten it sometimes for writing queer characters who are like me, Southern and into uncool shit and not sharp dressers and religious - it just makes me want to start screaming.

I am queer. I am not incorrectly queer. I am who I am and therefore, because I am queer, that is a correct way to do queerness.

Some gripes about Gen Z are overblown but this weirdly narrow view of what queerness is allowed to look like or be is 100% as awful as other generations say it is and it's fucking exhausting to live through. I don't have to sit differently in order to be doing queerness right or be unable to drive. I exist and I am queer and that is all I need to do and be.

I wish fandom was different from real life. I wish it was more open to the reality that queer people have a multitude of backgrounds and lived experiences. We're facing enough shit IRL, can't we just have one place where we're NICE to each other?

As a 40+ queer, I'm laughing myself sick at the current crop of "required" queer interests.

In my day, it was oldschool cis gay male culture for the men (think being obsessed with Bette Davis) and But I'm a Cheerleader and Dykes to Watch Out For for the women or something.

Not that you have to like any of those things either. It's just hilarious how clueless people are about what's a temporary trend that will probably be different in 5 years.

A New Look?

Alternative title: What I would give genshin guys to wear

Basically Reverse isekai but now you gotta make normal outfits for the characters so they don't stick out like a sore thumb. It can also be read as modern AU outfits if you prefer

Characters in order:

Heizou, Xiao, Albedo, Zhongli, Wanderer, Kaeya, Venti, Ayato, Diluc, Kazuha

Honestly heizou would be an easy pick. Old fashioned British detective style. Sherlock Holmes, trench coats, shades of brown, all that jazz. Also, give him access to true crime podcasts, he'll never be bored again.

I'd give xiao the ol' hot topic skater fit. Black, band tees, lots of rings and jewelry, fake pieces, ripped jeans, yeaa. It matches his personality too. Not with fashion but if you do get band t shirts tell him alot about said band just incase one of those "name five members or your not a true fan" people talk to him.

Albedo gets the light academia scholar outfits. Kinda chill, collared shirts, lighter colors, shades of brown and blue. Some gold every once in a while. Loose fitting stuff. Flowy sleeves. Lots of rings. Maybe one or two gold necklaces that he wears every once in a while. The type of outfits you see those aesthetic college student wearing. Maybe a bit of cottagecore. Lots of white shirts.

Zhongli would look like that one professor that everybody has a crush on tbh. Not as formal as what he wears in game but still, collared shirts, suits once in a while, always wears a tie, owns one dark brown trench coat that he wears everywhere at all costs. Lots of darker browns with gold accents here and there. Not a necklace kinda guy but wears a good amount of rings. Totally has reading glasses. Has alot of custom hair pins for some reason? Idk I just feel like he does. Has 100 pairs of dress shoes, and like one pair of black boots. Nothing else. Also If you give him his own closet it's so organized. Spotless, everything fits in the closet right, its honestly impressive.

Wanderer would be alot like Xiao. Hot topic's no. 1 customer. He'd have more of a blue and purple color scheme than black though. Actually listens to all the bands he has shirts of. Big punk fan. Wears this one black beanie with a skull on it basically every day. His shoe game is good, like really good. Had alot of platform shoes so he can look taller. Lots of cropped shirts that looked ripped. No long sleeves, short sleeves and sleeveless tees. An absolute MASTER at makeup, specifically eyeliner. Lotsssss of turtlenecks.

Ooohoho now Kaeya would be f u n to style. Has a more simple style. Those pinterest dudes?? Yeah, think of that. Plain colored shirts, turtlenecks alot, almost never sleeveless. Lots of long sleeves stuff.

Give him one of those black corsets that I always see, since he wears one on his original outfit. Wears necklaces, but doesnt layer them or anything. One simple necklace at a time. A TON of silver rings. Hes got those pinterest guy hands. Wears sheer black gloves. Has this one cropped blue jacket but it's more of a sweater and he always wears it when layering clothing.

Hanging earrings are necessary for him. Has a belt with a snowflake design on it that he uses alot. Almost never wears sweaters. Wears blue, grey, and black almost religiously.

Ahhh venti :) Think similar to albedos but more Victorian than college student vibes. Again, long sleeves, flowy, lotssss of ruffles, has a generous amount of green accents. Has this one emerald necklace that resembles a vision somewhat and he adores it. Never takes it off. Not a giant ring person, but has around a thousand hats. Paper boy hats in green, might own a bucket hat or two? Hes got the whole hat-universe. Always wear white socks that go just below his knees with EVERYTHING. Has multiple pairs and some are a bit more sheer than the others. Has a pair or two of white fingerless gloves to wear with long sleeves, and full, white and sheer gloves he wears when he isnt wearing long sleeves. White button ups are his life. Usually doesnt tuck said button ups in. (Totally not a walking mitski reference)

Ayato isnt THAT complex. And he's got similar style to Zhongli, but complety different color schemes. Wears suits often, and they follow a pattern. White shirt, black tie, light blue suit jacket. The icon of white pants, he basically never wears anything else. For smaller accessories they're usually dark blue or black in color. Not a ring person either, but wears one or two black rings occasionally. Has earrings but not dangly ones. Just black studs. Has alot of dark blue hair pins to keep his hair back. Theres no way his hair naturally just stays that way ok?? Every single boba place within 40 miles knows his name and face by memory. Wears the same looking black shoes all the time.

Diluc is probably another trench coat kinda guy. Less suits, more trench coats for him. In the fancy looking suit and tie gang with Ayato and Zhongli. Usually wears black button ups instead of white ones, with a crimson red tie and a brown trench coat, or a white tie and a darker red coat. Totally not an accessories guy. No necklaces, earrings, and maybe just one single gold rings he wears once every century. Another black shoes only person. I feel like the coats he wear have some fur on them in places. Just a thought. Always carries around like 3 extra hair ties in his pocket just in case he need one.

Kazuha is a comfy clothing icon. Not one for a thousand things on his outfits for aesthetic purposes, just wears what he likes and adds accessories if he feels like it. And absolute king of the fall outfit aesthetic. Outfits usually consists of slightly baggy autumn colored shirts, always short sleeves. Sweatpants or just light colored/bleached cuffed jeans. (Yes I said CUFFED) And occasionally has a darker colored orange and red knit sweater over him. Probably has one or two necklaces on at a time. Always wears this one necklace with a gold chain and a maple leaf charm on it. A gold colored accessories person. Most of the rings he has are gold. Has his ears pierced and usually wears black or gold studs. Sonetimes he wears dangly earrings but nothing to crazy. Ties his hair back a lot less.

bear with me bc i am drinking THC lemonade

whenever my “people shocked by me being interested in consumer aesthetics counter” ticks up by 1, i know that i have failed to express myself on the internet. i am obsessed with commercial ephemera. it’s not that i like it… it’s something deeper. something… worse? better? something more embarrassing, at least.

the only time i’ve ever done psychedelics my profound realization was that i really, really enjoyed going to target. i like the lights. i am always commenting on the products and whether i think they are on trend or off trend for what i understand the target demographic to be. i love nothing more than to watch someone pick up an object, briefly imagine their life with that object in it, and then either put it in their basket or put it back on the shelf. even moreso when i’m watching a friend shop. even moreso when we can only window shop and that friend starts explaining to me what they would do with the thing if they had the money to buy it.

i studied american pop music history in college and i continue to study the history of bubblegum pop in my free time. i want to eventually write up a video or a series or something about the extended international history of teenybopper bubblegum pop. i am trying to learn music industry jargon old and new in my target languages in an attempt to gain access to information about these things that i can’t access in english alone.

i read early 2010s posts about how minimalism was the only morally righteous visual style with rapt fascination. i had a vaporwave phase exactly one decade ago. my friends in high school would bring me arizona green teas because they knew i would find it aesthetic. my advanced painting teacher hated it because i kept painting pale minimalist watercolor pieces that looked like 90s waiting room wall decor. my dream at the time was moving to santa fe and becoming a fine artist.

i was a proto-cottagecore blogger before cottagecore was named. i have well over 100 blogs, considering i hit 96 at some point during my previously mentioned decade-ago vaporwave phase. i do not bother to count anymore

as a young child, i used to go to the store almost daily with my parents and look for unfamiliar packs of gum so i could assess their packaging, flavor, and concept. i *really* cared about this. i got into this because i was given free packs of 5 gum and orange mountain dew at the halo 3 midnight release.

i learned HTML from neopets and i used to code gaiaonline themes and put them up on tektek. they sucked really bad btw.

i spent around 2 decades looking for the source of a single image of an anime river angel i saw on quizilla because she meant so much to me as a child about the power of what mere images could be only to find last year that the artist now draws hentai on pixiv and their art quality is now quite rushed. i think about this regularly when i think about creators i have idolized, and i don’t know what it means to me, but it feels like valuable information.

last night i couldnt sleep because i kept wanting to get on my phone to look at ancient greek vases on jstor

the worst part is i feel that the way that seeing ONLY consuming-or-not-consuming as the primary way to interact with the world is a serious mental roadblock for people in capitalist society. i think that consumer identity is a tool often used to warp the minds of citizens. i think that if i could go back in time and strangle edward bernays i would. i think that it is meaningful that american society has generated dozens of terms for “someone who is stealing or misusing a cultural signifier, or otherwise engaging with a culture or subculture under false pretenses/without doing due diligence/without participating in proper cultural exchange” over just the past couple centuries and that seeing and acknowledging the cycle is essential for anyone working in the arts

ive spent the past couple years reading up on historical art movements since industrialization to see how other art workers have dealt with their jobs being mechanized away, and ive decided to choose to value myself as a human animal who gets to experience the process of making things with my human animal body.

i am compelled to play piano when i drink red wine and i feel that i’m a fundamentally superficial being in function, but i can be more in purpose. like a poster. like a mask. like someone screaming so hard on stage that you believe them. that you look behind you to see what they are screaming at. i think in symbols and colors front and center, with verbal background chatter like an ever-tuning radio, and i am frustrated when people don’t understand that i am speaking my mind when i show them what i’ve made.

i care about aesthetics a lot. consumer and otherwise. it just so happens that i live in a capitalist society wherein the market attributes value to certain aesthetic information, which generates conversation about what certain images mean, what gives them value, what detracts from their value, what they are responding to, what responses they require in turn. but anywhere, anytime that there is a conversation about aesthetics, i want to be there.

i have always loved to perceive and to make, since the earliest stories anyone has to tell about baby cave. if i lost everything that makes me who and what i am right now, i believe i would still care about aesthetics. if there is anything left for even a cell of my body to experience, it would want to experience it beautifully and enjoy it deliciously.

It is with deep bemusement and slight dismay that I inform you and the world at large that the best vampire story I have ever read is called "temperance" and reader, "temperance" is an NSYNC fanfiction.

Yeah you read that right this is a fanfiction about the men in the boyband nsync (and the backstreet boys, and elvis' manager? for some reason?????) and it's 64,000 words long with two short sequels and listen. I don't want this to be the best piece of vampire media ever any more than you do. But my god, it is. The vampire rules are well thought out. The world is built richly but without Dune-style infodumps - you just learn to understand what the universe is like so organically as the story progresses. The romance is sweet, the debate regarding the souls of vampires is explored thoughtfully. The prose is beautiful and it's easy to sink your teeth into. It's equal parts beautiful and horrifying, the way vampire media should be, but the beauty is of a southern gothic cottagecore nature and the horror is feral and toothsome, as opposed to the genteel nature of most vampire stories. My second fave piece of vampire media is the Carmilla webseries. Picture it: the year is 2014 and you have come to terms with being a bit of a lesbian and someone takes The sapphic vampire story of all time and turns it into a college au romcom (ft some gorgeous leads, by the way.) Laura only drinks from a tardis mug. Carmilla eats cereal with blood in it. Black cat/golden retriever dynamics. It made my cry. The theme song ("Love Will Have Its Sacrifices") is baller and I've put it on every playlist for THWTH I've ever made. I have, to be fair, only finished season one, but god, I fucking love Carmilla: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uPd3g5wi1A

My third fave piece of vampire media is a little more traditional and it is the book "The Coldest Girl in Coldtown" by Holly Black. Holly Black as in author of grimdark fae novels for teenagers, yes. "The Coldest Girl in Coldtown" is excellent and on my list because it is, in spite of being written for teens, probably the sexiest piece of vampire fiction I have ever read. Gavriel is such a hot lead and we finally get an author unafraid to make the blood drinking sexy as well as gory and alarming. 10/10 would recommend this book to literally anyone, and it has shockingly good trans rep for being released in like 2013: https://bookshop.org/p/books/the-coldest-girl-in-coldtown-holly-black/110465?ean=9780316213097

Lastly, I think the Fright Night remake from 2011 is amazing. Like, look. I know it's not "good" as in well-written or anything, but like. It's funny, it's sexy, they play into the ridiculousness. I fully believe Fright Night walked so that Renfield could run. It's star studded for literally no reason. The CGI is terrible. The vampires are ridiculous. The soundtrack to this one is also way better than it had any right to be. It comes in fourth because it is kind of sexist and I think we should have had more characters fully soaked in blood a la Evil Dead Rise, but c'est la vie. so i have a dsmp au where tommy is an aspiring photographer trying to get through college (high school). he has the ability to teleport at will, but he can’t control where he ends up. he always ends up back in his bed with his camera at midnight in his home timezone. most of the time, he gets really cool pictures of landscapes or high-rise cityscapes.

the basis of this au is that over the course of one summer, he runs into tiktok aesthetic-like worlds and gathers charms or small items from the people he meets. when he makes a bracelet with all the charms, he can visit each of his new friends whenever he pleases. he doesn’t realise it at first, but he eventually stops aging at 18 and his new friends show no signs of aging either. weird…

one day, as he’s setting up a picture of an abandoned desert town, a kid comes out of a building, tubbo. tubbo is wearing a gas mask and protective coverings you’d see in an apocalyptic setting. tommy snaps the picture and gets talking. when he wakes up at home, he has a dark green rock with a hole in the middle and the picture printed out and placed on his nightstand. he dreams of tubbo for weeks after. (wasteland/apocalypse imagines)

Hi Kait! Admittedly, I'm a little embarrassed to ask this, since I'm fairly certain you'll recognize me, but I was looking around your page and I saw that match-ups were open, and... given my intense conflict regarding who the literal fuck I'd actually work well within MysMe, I thought I'd give it a shot. It's a lot easier to talk about myself under the guise of anonymity, so I suppose I'll start there. I'm a college freshman diagnosed with anxiety and depression hoping to get my double major in Psychology and Philosophy, and an eventual PHD in Psych. I am prone to overworking myself and tend to use escapism as an outlet for the fact that I'm never particularly satisfied with my own effort. I spend most of my free time outside of class sitting in my room working on art, writing, or trying to socialize with people (be it online or offline). I play a fair amount of games, but barely have the time to do so because of my tendency to overwork myself. I did a lot of theater and performance throughout my life, so I have a passion for watching musicals and assisting in performances backstage. I like being onstage as well, but previously it's proved more trouble than it's worth, especially since I'm always the 'reliable' cast, not the 'talented' cast. I also have an interest in flower language and plants, despite the fact that I kill most every plant I touch. As for my personality... that one is a little complicated. Offline I perceive myself to be an absolute anxious wreck. I'm always tired and always running around in an attempt to keep up with my responsibilities. However, outwardly people tend to perceive me as confident and knowledgable. I do wonderful in my academics and have a love for debate and asking hard questions, even if internally I am screaming at myself for stuttering or seeming silly. Online I tend to be a lot more open about myself and my emotions, but still fairly guarded as I try my best to maintain my privacy. I try to make people happy and build connections online since I feel more 'myself' there. Once I get close to someone I tend to enjoy peaceful silence with them. I'm a very physically affectionate person as words fail me so often, and I like listening to people just not too much. Chatterboxes get on my nerves, especially when someone repeats the same phrase over and over again. I have noise sensitivity issues as well, which doesn't help things. I'm also terrified of water - specifically the ocean. Any mention of swimming and I panic. I also have slight jealousy issues due to past relationship trauma. I'm 5'7 with a brown pixie cut that's admittedly a little overgrown right now, rose gold rounded square glasses with a slight cat eye, and blue-green eyes that tend to shift colors depending on what I'm wearing. I have quite a few birthmarks littered on my skin - most importantly one above my lip and another under my right eye. My ears are pierced, and I tend to wear black hoops unless I'm dressing up. Day to day I tend to look like your typical tired college student, but if I'm going somewhere I try to dress in cottagecore style attire with lots of sparkly makeup. I'm pan, and my love languages are physical touch and quality time. Something as simple as a hug or a hand to hold can turn me from stressed and panicked to melty and calm in minutes. I value intelligence a lot in a person, which is why I tend to like the nerdy types of characters in media. I also need someone who isn't shy about reminding me to not beat myself up. I tend to spiral anxiety wise a lot, especially if I believe that I've hurt my partner. I want someone who'll be there for me despite the mistakes that we might make. Someone long term. ➥ An au where Dream an Nightmare have a good relationship wow-

➥Damien (Dream) always has the best hairstyles which everyone loves tho Nilan (Nightmare) does it for him because he has no patience whatsoever.

➥Nilan (Nightmare) doesn't understand why he's bullied but he isn't mad at the people either. He thinks people must have a valid reason for disliking him and it's the bullies choice to do what they do, he just doesn't understand why they do it.

➥ Nilan (Nightmare) goes by any pronounce while Damien (Dream) goes by he/they pronounce.

➥Nilan (Nightmare) is on the autism spectrum and doesn't really understand people's reactions to how he dresses & acts.

➥Nilan (Nightmare) is basically a walking Cottagecore aesthetic. He loves comfortable looking clothes and dresses rather feminine. He just thinks it looks more formal.

➥Damien (Dream) is dyslexic and has a hard time reading fluently out loud. Nilan (Nightmare) sometimes pokes fun of him to get a reaction out of him but most of the time he just helps out his brother with words he's struggling on.

➥The deal Damien (Dream) and Nilan (Nightmare) made started before middle school because of the bullying that both of them suffered under and because Damien (Dream) spend a lot of time with Nilan (Nightmare) he got bullied too. Nilan (Nightmare) was the one who suggested the deal.

➥ Sci (doesn't have a name yet) who is a teacher adopted them when they were just little kids. He usually has to take care of the mess they make.

➥Separately they are very well behaved but if they are together and beyond bored all hell will break loose. They usually get scolded by Sci later.

➥Nilan (Nightmare) often gets mistaken for a woman because of his clothing style and hair and when he speaks up, telling people that he was a guy (he has a rather deep voice) it shocks quite a few people. He gets a good chuckle out of it every time.

➥Nilan's (Nightmare's) special interests are cassettes/Walkman and reading. He likes a lot of old songs but he doesn't have the patience to make/edit cassettes himself. Damien (Dream) took hours out of his life to learn how to edit/make cassettes for his brother and he usually gets a list of songs to put on them. He also made cassettes with the same songs over and over again so Nilan doesn't have to rewind them.

➥Nilan's favorite song is dream on by aerosmith.

➥Damien (Dream)is one of the most popular people in his school every time because of his charm. Due to his popularity he can make everyone distance themselves from Nilan's (Nightmare's) bullies, making them outcasts. Nilan (Nightmare) doesn't know about what he's doing and he likes to keep it that way.

➥and the most important fact! April first is their favorite day because they can confuse the shit out of everyone. They both have long hair so they style it exactly the same and wear the same clothes except for one piece of clothing that they keep switching over the course of the day. (They use brown contacts for their eye color difference)

really missed the point. to say its laden with colonialism when talking about how a house is built feels only true by proxy of where it exists, not the role it played in colonialism (which you can make a stronger argument for the prairie farms, but they aren't the "cottages" in "cottagecore".) to break down parts of an aesthetic like cottagecore -- which can markedly vary -- and say it is influenced by colonialism (not even addressed the conversation about classism) implies more than just the era these "aesthetics" originated from (which is equally arguable, since then it becomes an argument about where an aesthetic's components originate from.) calling for colonialism to be mentioned on an aesthetics page is deviated from the conversation one wants to have about these countries and their cultures as a whole, which becomes a much larger task, and not about the components themselves, all of which are cherry picked for an individual's preference and what they consider cozy and cottagecore

dark academia is different in the sense that it heavily regards its aesthetic origins and ongoings with intellectualism and old european colleges (which spots its roots in harry potter and the "magical" novelty of going to school in a castle.) and the very heavy history of said colleges which, if an individual wanted to learn more about the implications around such colleges, then they should go to the respective places and learn about the college histories themselves.

I love that you describe cottagecore as being "cherry picked for an individual's preference and what they consider cozy and cottagecore". You are right: cottagecore girlies do cherry pick the palatable elements of a bygone age, and ignore their deep roots in feudalism, enclosure, colonialism, misogyny, and conservatism.

Your prose style is very leading: you use the impersonal pronoun 'one' to encourage a reader to agree with you. But Wikipedia is not about a 'conversation one wants to have', it is about compiling sources to present the pertinent information to readers. The article also goes into extreme and superfluous detail about Greek pastoral poetry. Do you think this is as relevant to cottagecore's development as, say, the Arts and Crafts movement? Do you think we shouldn't mention Orientalism when we discuss fashion in the late-Edwardian period because it turns the conversation into one about colonialism?

Just to point out as well: you can't say that prairie farms arent' the 'cottages in cottagecore'. There is no defined principle for what is and what isn't cottagecore. I would never describe Gierthoorn as the archetype of cottagecore, but I can recognise how it conforms to the aesthetic. Media set in early America and on the frontier is often used in cottagecore.

Dark Academia is much more obviously steeped in elitism, yes, but cottagecore is steeped in merely a different mindset from the same period. To consider the cottage as 'free' from the constraints of the town, to think of agriculture as an ornamental task, to idealise the 'natural purity' of the countryside and of a life of knitting and painting, is to romanticise the aesthetic of being poor. The cottage was not free. The common land was taken from the farmers and worked by a wealthy landowner. Farmers worked for a pittance on land they did not own, often in houses they did not own outright, and had barely enough to scrape by. Sure, we can cherry pick the good side of this, but that is exactly the danger of aestheticising a complex and multiply-realisable way of living.

It can all be summed up by this: the other editor's last edit to the article changed "According to critics cottagecore offers a nostalgic, romanticized view of rural life" to "According to critics cottagecore offers an realistic romanticized view of rural life". This is unfounded in the critics' work. It is not true. It is the personal opinion of an editor being inserted into an article. And they are describing my inclusion of documented critiques of the aesthetic as a personal opinion. And...they changed it to "an" for no reason

#real talk. can you give me a solid definition of cottagecore so i can more effectively discuss this lol #also not going too deep into classism because it is too easy to let this convo get out of hand.

The t-shirt matches the bag and I have a Blouse with a collar to give off Cottagecore vibes, boots because obviously, and finally a skirt to give off Ren vibes. This outfit overall has very good colour coordination and I love it sm

This outfit is guaranteed to make a good impression because the teacher later told me that she liked my style.

But I made a Roleswap AU from TheFamousFilms's FNAF series-

And I just wanted to share a few ideas I have with the rest of you guys bc I already shared them with my friend

- So for starters for when Im gonna draw Bryan, Im thinking of making Bryan look like an older version of Steve, but wearing the clothes OG!Bryan is wearing (the black and red outfit). With the faceplates and stuff, and maybe lomg hair-

- And also i feel like since when TFF!Afton showed up everyone called him Springtrap instead of Afton, RS!Maggie is gonna tell RS!Afton to call Bryan Steve instead

- Also, for Afton, I feel like in this AU he either goes by Afton or Will

- Maggie's personality is just gonna stay the same, but now she's small and helps Afton with the first pizzeria

- The suit Gregory possesses (since him and Baby/Elizabeth swapped) is a little clown boy

- Clara and Afton were together at one point in college, but then they broke up. She ended up later on coming back and becoming friends with Afton again, but then after Afton dies, she tries poking around Kat's pizzeria (as well as other places) to figure out what tf happened to him, Happy Frog kills her and she possesses Ballora, who is now at Kat's location in this AU

- Ballora is still a dancer in this AU, but since she's at Kat's pizzeria, she has more of a cottagecore aesthetic and a different dance style, and she's supposed to just be this kind mother figure

- As for Vanny, she'd be at the sister location and is supposed to be the Bonnie in that location (aside from BonBon ofc). Valerie ends up possessing her tho (in this AU, Valerie was a friend of Bryan's as well as the CFO, until she started looking too much into things, so Bryan killed her)

- Pat is actually an animatronic in this AU, bc in his universe, he actually went through with his idea of becoming one, tho he ended up sorta regretting it, so he's been trying to get the portal timer to figure out a way to change back. He also didn't actually reveal he was an animatronic until later on, and used some sort of technology (i don't f**king know how, im tired-) to present as human for small periods of time. That way he was able to manipulate Afton easier-

- Glitchtrap is just a normal human in this AU who im just gonna give the name Glitch bc what the f**k else do I call him- I might call him Vincent, I don't know- Basically instead of an engineering degree like OG!Pat had, he's working on a coding degree (tho he does know basic animatronic repair). He's honestly just constantly just going through it, and is trying to just get through college with a good paying job, only to suddenly get roped into Afton's bs- Also idea: Just try to try and keep portions of OG!Glitchtrap as part of his character, while he is good at simple coding and with repairing the already existing animatronics, when it comes to creating his own animatronics, they tend to accidentally come out corrupted or trying to kill everyone- Also, instead of an obsession with the idea of becoming an animatronic like OG!Pat, he instead has a fascination with moving to another universe completely and constantly thinks about the idea in his free time despite knowing that it wouldn't be easy or a good idea-
