Goncharov Costume Dump: pairing an: a) brown and white chalk-stripe suit with: (b) a navy and cream pin-dot tie, and (c) black overcoat and hat layers complexity of intention and effort to conceal and reveal the true essence of his character. Notice that the topcoat is always a military-issue double-breasted closure; Goncharov can never full divest himself of his past.
This level of intentional power-clashing directly inflenced the navy-and-black battle hawk ensemble on Earl Rivers in the 2016 "Richard III"
