Me, calling my Pinterest board 'SAW references' and literally only saving photos of Costas onto it says a lot about me and I'm not ready to open that can of worms

En la noche insomne, emerge el oráculo. Susurra suavemente, su espeso templo. Debo beber de sus palabras penetrables, y extenderlas como raíces en mis costas.
The Very Itchy Hummingbird by Jeff (post corona) [NB: nearly 2 minutes of 1080p video; depending on your connection this might take a while to load after you hit "play".] Edited from a single 3-minute clip of a male Costa's Hummingbird (Calypte costae), recorded December 5, 2012 at a friend's house in Cathedral City, California. Uncropped; the extreme telephoto is by adapting a 250mm DLSR lens to a tiny-sensor (1/2.3") MILC, the Pentax Q. (The "crop factor" of this camera in 35mm-format terms is around 5.5x, so that's around 1375mm equivalent.) Getting the framing and focus right is very touchy with such a narrow angle of view, but a hummingbird will repeatedly return to the same perch, giving one plenty of opportunity to make adjustments.
