Where have I been?
Image: cartoon of several people sitting in chairs. Group therapy. I have several chronic conditions: mental health, type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea, hypothyroidism, hypertension. I am on 9 medications. I was wondering if there is any type of holistic treatment that could help, and searched different terms in my insurance directory. I came upon a mental health facility that is holistic and…

Starting Over...
Starting over isn't always easy...
It’s been a while, and a lot has changed! Wow. It’s been crazy, and I’m bummed that I lost my momentum with the site. However, things have started to return to a state of normalcy, and I was able to re-design the site and make a new logo. I have a better plan of direction this time around. And what better time to start documenting my story but the new year when we’re all setting goals and…

Lets go with.... 🔶 and 🤒 for Seph.
🔶- does your oc know cpr? do they have any other medical expertise?
Seph doesn't know CPR, but does have some medical experience! He knows more along the lines of potion and elixir making, alongside with some basic first aid, as well as some more detailed stuff involving colder climates like treating frostbite and/or hypothermia partially due to it being taught to him from the environment he lives in, partially from his own personal experience
🤒- does your oc get sick easily?
Yes, and no? His curse makes it hard to get sick off of heat-related afflictions but homie could get a cold off of eating ice cream.
For non-temperature related sickness, he does have an allergy to pollen which can indirectly cause sinus infections during the spring, but otherwise, doesn't get sick too easily. Stomach aches and bugs especially are rare. Which for the most part, lucky for him, because his curse tries to act like his immune system sometimes and attack any foreign things it might find, and can't distinguish a virus from a malicious entity trying to possess him.
He does have the tools now that helps him manage his health these days though! His friends helped him find a way to passively pump elixirs into him to help manage his symptoms to prevent sickness or other health issues stemming from his curse ^^

I'm sad.
My brain hurts.
My back hurts.
My kids are grumpy.
I don't know how to make this better on a Sunday.
I'm anxious.
I miss feeling at home.
I'm making chili and fry bread for dinner.
I want a diet Pepsi.
I want to sit on my big comfy futon and pop in a DVD I've had since 2004.
I want to pass out blankets and snacks after dinner.
I want to let my kids stay up late just so we can hang out.
I just want to feel like everything is okay for awhile.
I want to feel at home.
I want things to get better.

What Are The signs And symptoms Of diabetic Fatigue?
Ways to cope with fatigue and diabetes
➭ The only way to deal with fatigue is to address your symptoms and concerns with your doctor. However, following these steps can help you in the journey of diabetes.
➭ Give specific details to your doctor– Try to give every particular detail to your doctor whenever you visit his place. Tell him if you feel tired even to go on a walk or for grocery shopping. Let your doctor know that extreme tiredness is preventing you from doing simple activities that are important to keep you healthy. ➭ Maintain a diary- How many trips of toilets you have had at nights? Are you skipping meals because you are too tired to stand and prepare them? Note every single detail including your daily habits and use it while talking to a doctor and discuss the concerns what make diabetes harder for you.
➭ Approach a therapist- Taking help of a health care specialist or a therapist who is an expert in improving your mental state can help you lead a healthy life. Alone, you might feel anxious, stressed, and depressed. This depression can lead to fatigue, and you may have a lack of energy. Getting professional help will help you take out of the situation and enables you to lead an active life.
➭ Aim for quality sleep- If you are not sleeping well at night, you are going to feel tired the next day. Try modifying your daily routine and create a non-disturbing environment can help you get more rest.
