I decided to take my old OCS {for my homestuck fanspecies "Cootali"} and turned them... No longer HOMESTUCK lol.

So, an announcement and some extras that never got posted rip me.

It's 2022, and the fsa discord is still crawling along. I'm really thrilled it's made it this far, truly.

While FSW is an early August event we start prepping for it fairly early. If you've ever wondered how we've decided which species are chosen for the banner, starting last year it was chosen on the FSA discord via raffle. if you're interested you should join. The raffle itself is held on a particular day in June, so come by and say hi.

After fsw2021 I made a pair of "flags" for the two years we'd done to that point, and I plan to make a third one for this year, but after I actually know which species are in it y'know?

FSW2020 flag:

- the five siren element colors

- gold throne blood

- the six phosphor colors

- the cootali skin color gradients

- and the grey-black gradient to represent the Death value from ios "The Game" for the cerbus

FSW2021 flag:

- Vodyanoi skin color gradient along with a strip of rainbow scales as they can be any color

- green for thogans

- rainbow crystalline pattern for golems, rocks can be any color but those outside of the mandated caste system are mutants

- white for tox bones

-brown sphynx fur, along with a strip of feathers in rainbow except for green, which is a separate strip for royal green feathers

@fanspeciesweek2020 I hope you don’t mind the late submissions !! I just found out about this last night, and I spent the day designing these. I will definitely be doing Day 6 and 7 too, but that will have to wait until tomorrow. 

Anyway; from top to bottom (and left to right) we have Kurli the Siren, Aureo Doriel the Throne, Shrimph the Phospor (the name came from a joke), Singa the Cootali, and Bow(ie) the Cerbus. I got attached to Aureo, so I’m probably converting them to a regular OC at some point. 

Sirens belong to @erifin, thrones belong to @problemspritester, Phospors belong to @lepiosprites, Cootalis belong to @shadow-is-here-and-bi and Cerbus belongs to @popomerrygamz

Couldn’t really think up an oc so I just drew Coral, @shadow-is-here-and-bi’s oc. Also wasn’t sure how to draw Cootali in my style so I went with something more simple and tried to emulate Adventure Time’s style, just because.

Notes: This week was made to expose the fact that I like alot of things geet. Aquatic species are beautiful and I love them alot. Also, I forgot that they could be any shade of purple/red/blue and just went with the colours of the canon purple one. So, yeah, hope thats not too much of an issue-
