Pokémon Evolution Stones: Part I
Basically, this is going to be a list of what I think some of the evolution stones will be from the Pokémon series, based on either, how it looks, how it is named, or both.
Moon stone:
Tumblr media
This first one is probably pretty straight forward and much like the anime and game says I would suspect that it would be meteor fragments from the moon. However, what makes this so neat is that we actually see meteorite fragments of the moon on earth, and here is what is looks like:

Water Stone:
Tumblr media
This one wasn’t so obvious for me to decide what it was. At first I thought opal, but I wasn’t really satisfied with that until I remembered that quartz can actually have visible water bubbles trapped within its crystals and, to me, that seemed like the perfect fit. These water* bubbles are typically called “enhydros” and they are very popular to buy in rock and mineral stores because they are so cool to look at.
*These bubbles don’t have to be made of water and for the purpose of showing you within an image and not a video I will actually show quartz with a petroleum enhydro so its more visible.

Dawn Stone:
Tumblr media
For the dawn stone I went primarily on how it looked and less by its name. I assumed that it was named by the way that it refracts light to look like a beam of sun or perhaps a star. Either way the first thought that I had was of a star sapphire. This are highly beloved in the jewelry industry by the way it makes a star pattern in the stone. This effect is called an asterism, and is created by the growth of small rutile crystals inclusions within the sapphire. This phenomenon is not exclusive to sapphires and can happen to many other stones, I just chose sapphire because of the stones color.

What shocked me most about the witnesses of the attack on me is that they bravely committed perjury by lying about my experience. This surprised me because they helped me during the actual event. I found out later that the culprit was influential and had bribed them with money.
Pilferer (n.) - a person who steals things of little value or in small quantities, especially from the place where they work
While everyone at work pretended not to notice, it was no secret that our coworker Barbara was an avid pilferer of any extra envelopes she found on others' tables.

The Unrevealed Facts of The Antarctica
Welcome to the wild world of Antarctica! This icy kingdom, found at the very bottom of our planet, is not just about snow and penguins. It is a treasure chest bursting with secret wonders and surprises! Let's take a snowy slide into the magical world of Antarctica!
First off, did you know that Antarctica is the driest place on Earth? Yes, even drier than a desert! The majority of it is covered by a huge ice sheet, and it hardly ever rains or snows there. This makes the Dry Valleys, parts of Antarctica with no ice at all, the driest spots in the world!
Another cool fact - it's home to a massive mountain range called the Gamburtsev Mountains, which are as tall as the Alps. But guess what? You can't see them! They are buried under two miles of ice.
This ice is also a time machine! Scientists drill into it to get ice cores, like very cold cylinders, which have layers that tell us what the world was like hundreds of thousands of years ago!
Moreover, Antarctica is a haven for meteorites. Meteorites are bits of rock that have fallen from space. Because the ice in Antarctica is so clean, it's easier to spot them.
Plus, don’t think it’s a lonely place. It's brimming with life. From adorable penguins to mighty whales and from tiny krill to hardy bacteria, Antarctica buzzes with life.
So next time you think of Antarctica, remember it's not just an icy wilderness, it's a world full of mysteries waiting to be discovered!
