I have so many thoughts

I can't say them out loud

I'm scared it'll start a fight

I'm scared to be too proud

I want to find someone

Someone I can talk to these things about

Someone who won't judge or mock

Who'll accept me without a doubt

I wonder if we're all this lonely?

If the world is just playing pretend

I know how fucked up it feels

In truth, to have no close friends

Don't you wish you could just trust someone?

Someone you can tell your secrets to

Who'll hear the thoughts in your head

And go, "It's all natural boo."

You pray one day you'll meet that somebody

When in reality you're a hypocrite

You're so closed off to everyone

You push them away before it gets legit

Is it fear , the cause of your unhappiness?

The unhappiness that craves for you to give up

Will you ever find this somebody?

Are you supposed to look for them in your love?

Is your lover to be your confidante?

The one you whisper secrets to?

Those secrets that terrify your being

Do you think any of this could be true?

Or are you destined to be alone?

To scream into your pillow?

To hide your fear, pain and anguish

When asked how you are, say "It's all mellow" ?

You ever felt like you couldn't breathe?

Like the weight of the world was on you?

Like you could break right then and there?

Like you were too fragile to move?

What's your low point so far?

And I mean the lowest

Was it when you thought of giving up?

When you admitted for a second that things aren't the best?

When your soulmate, your best friend, your most trusted confidant is no more... I don't believe there is any way to heal that kind of heartbreak. Temporarily, maybe. But knowing that you two meant everything to each other and that you'd choose one another without hesitation, coupled with the fact that you will never meet again... I don't believe that any temporary fix, regardless of what it is, will suffice in the face of such an eternal ache.
