Writing Update #2

Hello, my imaginary readers.

It’s been 3 months to the day since I posted. My last post is a little hard to get through if you ask me. But, a lot has happened. I have written a third of a new short story called The Polaroid. The Polaroid is story number 14, and she is very exciting. The Polaroid has been completely developed in the means that I know where It’s going to go. It all came to me within 10 hours. And I have written more than 1500 words. 

The second story that has captured my attention lately is number 7. Number 7 HAS A NAME.... It is Thorns That Surround The Heart aka Thorns. I am also planning on making it a two book series. With the sequal called Finding Roses. I think I am very clever with those titles. Thorns has 6653 words. I want to get to 17,000 by Christmas. What would be awesome is if I could get it finished by New Years. But that does mean I am very far behind guessing my book is going to have more than 25,000 words, roughly. 

The rewrite, number 3, has been slow recently as my outlook on how it ends is changing so I am giving myself a bit of a brain break. Number 3 is sitting at a word count of 4210. We are about 1/2 way through Chapter 2. But I have chapter 3 and 4 planned. Chapter 3 spans over a few months so there is definitely a lot packed in. I might end up splitting chapter 3 into segments of each month. 

This is definitely a rambly update. They all will most likely be.

Writing History/Update 1

In preparation for high school. I decided to straighten out my computer. I made it to where I one drive for all my stories. 

For a bit of back story I fell in love with creative writing in 3rd grade. 

In 6th grade I realized that writing outside of class assignments and I tried to write a story that was kind of good but I didn’t like the fantasy route I had taken so I left it be. She was number 1.

I found platforms to write on during the summer of sixth grade and seventh and I wrote two terrible stories. One I finished and plan to never read again (Number 2). The other I have began to rewrite it and it’s been nice to say the least. This one is number 3

so now I am at a total of 3 stories. One finished, one work in progress, one that is not going to happen.

2018 during my 7th grade, I found out about fanfiction and I wrote one that I lost(#4). I have no idea where I wrote it and frankly I don’t want to find it. That made number 4. I also began writing another story that same year that I have on the backburner but I really want to finish it. she makes five. 

I failed at writing another fanfiction (#6).

In October 2019, I got an idea and started writing down a story I wasn’t very serious about, but the I have been very happy with the writing. This one is glorious number 7.  

December after school let out I got bit by the creative bug and I was like “I AM GOING TO WRITE A NOVEL” I started writing and have gotten 17 pages worth of writing. LUCKY NUMBER 8

While was writing Number 8, The Royals. I started thinking about a sequel for The Royals and now I have a plan and a prologue for a second book and number 9 

since the new year I have started 4 more stories, because it’s quarantine
