Total Drama Wander Over Yonder AU

Another little concept AU I've had in my brain that I wanted to share! The cast goes as follows:

Wander - Owen

Sylvia - Noah

Lord Hater - Alejandro

Commander Peepers - Courtney

Lord Dominator - Heather

Emperor Awesome - Geoff

As for ships in this AU, I'm deciding to spice things up a little bit. I'm thinking Aleowen and Noaheather.

I've also got a hilariously complicated love situation going on. Centered around the fact that in this AU, Noah and Alejandro are exes. Noah used to be Alejandro's right hand man, aka his Commander Peepers. Then he got tasked with taking care of a small annoyance known as Owen trying to help out one of the planets under Alejandro's rule.

The next thing anyone knows, Noah has just been power of friendshipped and is now working with Owen to unmake the empire he helped create. His only saving grace is none of the people he's helping know who he was because he always kept to the shadows.

Alejandro's extremely pissed that Owen has taken away his most valuable asset (there's reasons why it was so easy for Owen to convince Noah to leave Alejandro), so he starts making it his personal mission to hunt Owen down.

Courtney saw there was now an opening for a position of power and immediately swept in to scoop it up. She's been doing a lot of reorganizing while Alejandro's busy with his one-sided blood feud with Owen.

Noaheather happens rather similar to Wander Over Yonder where Dominator disguises herself and ends up having a night out with Sylvia.

Also because I think it'd be incredibly hilarious if Alejandro's ex and Alejandro's one-sided crush end up together, while Alejandro himself ends up with his worst enemy.

I need Jaskier to be more bitter about what Geralt did to him in s2 so...

before the new The Witcher season comes out, I want to share a couple of somethings I read after s3 became I think about them on the daily and add some stuff to them

I can't find the posts but the were basically this:

After reince burned jaskier's hands, he couldn't play or even hold his lute, and after the screaming in the last episode his voice is all worn out

Out of guilt, geralt gets lessons from jaskier, learning the lute so he can help jaskier earn coin again while his hands heal

and the other was that after burn butcher (just how he became a hero from toss a coin), people started recognizing him as the man who abandoned the bard

so my add on that is something like

Geralt had been more attentive than usual, he changes Jaskier's bandages and applies remedies. It's not that the others can't do it, they just realized that Geralt was hung up on doing it himself.

There was a lot of damage after the battle, so most of the witchers were trying to repair the building, but always found time to go to Jaskier's toom at the end of the day to check on him. He tried to go when he was already asleep, he didn't want the word to spread that he was worried but it was inevitable to catch him while he was awake sometimes. He only spoke to Geralt with hums, nodds "yes" and shakes "no". He can speak now, Geralt has heard him talk to Ciri and even a bit to Yen, he just has nothing to say to Geralt.

What's worse, it doesn't seem that he's angry, he just seems tired when it was just the two of them.

Even though it pains him, Geralt asks if he wanted to stay at Kaer Morhen to rest but Jaskier just says that "I won't be left on another mountain top by you".

While that's the only think he said to him in a long time, it's still progress.

When Jaskier taught the cords of his songs, he never sang the words, only hummed the melodies and adjusted the witcher's finger positions , so when Jaskier found a tavern to sing at, the boo's and judgemental glances that he got were a bit of a surprise. He hadn't gotten this kind of treatment since before "toss a coin". Midway through his performance, the crowd started shouting "burn butcher" and Jaskier started singing the song that was so obviously about him, he understood. Still, he was hesitant to preform it and even before he did, he mentioned that it'd be the last time he would.

That night, after the performance Geralt didn't say anything. After changing his bandages again and leaving for his own room, Geralt finally said "I'm sorry".

We love a Welcome Home/Wally AU in this house. I’d like to introduce everyone to Concept Wally! He’s the product of a single brainstorming session by a failing studio, who needed to come up with an idea for a children’s programme. Unfortunately, the studio closed and everything was scrapped. The only thing that remained was a single concept sketch - that would be him, Concept Wally.

I’m just gonna copy/paste my notes from here because I’m lazy BUT please enjoy him and I hope you all love him as much as I do!! ;; He’s just a lil guy who doesn’t want to be forgotten!! Be nice to him.

welcome home in the early 70s; wally was going to be a fresh university graduate who just had a passion and desire to teach kids more than what school ever did, and he was going to do it with song! (specifically rock & roll genre, for a mass audience appeal)

 it never progressed the conception phase. somehow, he gained sentience - perhaps because of the sheer belief in the show his concept artist had

unfortunately, the studio closed only 2 weeks after wally was designed, and so the entire idea was scrapped.

wally was just a picture on paper. he hated that the idea was scrapped, didn't want to "die", so to speak.

somehow found a way to get in people's dreams, to "inspire" them to draw this character they dreamt of. and as they draw him he gains more power until he was able to tear himself from the page.

he's still able to go back into paper, and uses that to travel or get around quickly, and watch people (some 'take on me' music video type shit)

as above and so below: "as above" is being in the outside world, "so below" is being restricted to the paper. in order to stay out of below, he needs people to draw him. if they stop, he'll lose power and lose the ability to tear himself off the page

this mfer absolutely has gradient inky arms because I SAID SO. it is peak character design. (it wasn’t part of his original design, it just happened because of bleeding ink as paper ages, etc)

he cries ink. bleeds it. vomits it. it's his spit. it's literally what he's made of so no surprises there

the original concept was a life-sized puppet, or rather, someone in a thin felt-covered body suit, with a puppet head (think doodlebops but not painted). this wally is about 5'9".

his designed was loosely based on early 70s David Bowie.

the more people draw him in one type of way, that's how he'll appear when he's in the world. so if a bunch of people are drawing him like a lil Muppet man, then lmfao that's how he'll look until people start drawing him differently (which means people would have to be drawing him in a similar way for him to appear that way), otherwise he'll just take his initial concept sketch form on paper.

voice claim; g-man. half life. (he was never given a voice so finds speech odd. his words are stilted, and sound like something trying to mimic human speech. lots of weird emphasis, run on sentences. odd breaths here and there)

his main outfit is just a pair of trousers with a white button up that usually has the sleeves rolled 3/4, and a few buttons undone with a bright orange undershirt and heart patterned suspenders.

when his face goes dark and you can only see his eyes, there's ink dripping from his chin/cheeks (as if the ink is covering his whole face)

personality wise, he's a little odd. doesn't quite know how to "people", since he isn't one; they never got past concept art after all! but he isn't completely devoid of emotion or empathy. he holds strong affinity for the people who draw him (even if all you draw is a little stick figure of him!! he appreciates it so much ... and it still gives him power), calling them friends. he does get a bit jealous when he catches you drawing other things though! otherwise, he's completely harmless and just doesn't want to be forgotten

Just a happy little AU I came up with. Team E-scope just fits too perfectly for Hardison, Eliot, and Parker. Same with Alejandro for Sophie. Heather then seemed like the most natural fit as their leader. Though she's definitely fighting to keep that role against Alejandro.

Part of me wants to make it a crossover rather than just an AU where the original Leverage team saw a bunch of teens that reminded them of themselves when they were younger and lightly strong-armed them into Leverage International to use their criminal talents for good.
