Sure do!

His eyes are actually very sensitive to light and that's why it looks like he's glaring all the time. Boi needs a pair of sunglasses on a sunny day otherwise it's constantly scowling.

He has deep-rooted anxiety, not just about himself and his own identity, but by being around a lot of people. After finding out he was a clone of Spider-Man, he struggled with coming to terms with it and differentiating himself from Peter (nothing new if you've read comics, but I disgress.) Being around people gives him a lot of anxiety because he feels like he has to constantly protect himself. Fight or flight is ingrained into him and he struggles with relaxing with the team, even if he WANTS to. He's always waiting for SOMETHING bad to happen.

He's incredibly bristly and doesn't take anyone's bullshit, but he actually has a very low opinion of himself. Dealing with Otto's narcism all the time gave him a lot of self-hatred and anxiety, and instead of dealing with it in a healthy way, he tends to lash out and attack first because he doesn't feel safe being vulnerable in front of people.

He's become very aware of Peter and over-analyzes all the little behaviors they share. They both rub the back of their necks alot when they're sheepish, they both love wheatcakes to an unhealthy degree, and they both deep appreciation old 80's sitcoms. Sometimes Ben tries to change these behaviors because he doesn't want to be seen as TOO much like Peter. He gets anxious about other people making these connections and seeing him as some screwed up, off-brand Peter Parker.

He;s also incredibly kind and soft if you can get him alone. If its just him and one other person, he tends to let his guard down a little and relaxes more. He feels like he has to put on a big, tough guy performance in front fo a crowd/group, but one-on-one, he lets his walls down. (He has a secret soft spot for Miles and Amadeus)

Aunt May is his most favorite person in the entire world, and she's one of the few people he feels like he can be himself around. She makes him feel the safest he's ever been.

He overcompensates to make up for betraying Peter, Aunt May, and the Academy. He tries to take on more than he can handle to prove that he won't do something like that again, but gets very standoffish and defensive when Hydra or Otto is brought up. He's still working on it.

Inside the game, when Reisen’s name appears shortened when written with Japanese symbols, it appears fully with latin alphabet (see Imperishable Night, Phantasmagoria of Flower View and Antinomy of Common Flowers screenshots). And when it appears fully in Japanese, it is written shortened with the latin alphabet (see Scarlet Weather Rhapsody screenshot). This doesn’t refer to any text present in the .txt files that come along with the games.

However, there is an exception in Imperishable Night since the romanization appears both shortened and fully: /post/708729215715000320/.

Ink-Stained Hearts

I wrote a dipplinshipping fic and included some hidden details that nobody has been able to figure out yet. I'm a big nerd who is getting a history degree, so I didn't really expect anyone to pick up on it. I also made it kinda vague, so that's on me. But I decided to make a post about it just in case anyone picked up on it and was confused. Just a slight warning I wrote a lot under the cut, I'm sorry to anyone who chooses to read this lol

So I had a headcanon that Kieran sends Juliana love letters, and his love language is words of affirmation due to him being so used to sending letters as a form of communication (he doesn't have a phone, what a loser lol). But while I was writing the fic, I felt the urge to give Kieran more depth with his relationship with writing than just him not having a phone. I then did some brainstorming on why he would feel motivated to write. He's from a small town based off of an area of Japan, and it is steeped in tradition and folklore (which he obviously has a knack for, ex: Ogerpon), so I decided to use my knowledge of Japanese culture and folklore when writing his perspective. His portion is heavily inspired by the Heian period (794-1185), which is known for its art, literature, and poetry. But to be more specific, I used aspects of Mono no aware, which is essentially the pathos of things and the knowledge of impermanence in this state of life. You might notice that there is a call out to his parent's passing, which explains why he feels this impermanence, and it gets worse when he begins his long-distance relationship with Juliana (he misses her very much). He is very observant with his surroundings, for example, he hears Juliana's laughter ringing throughout his dorm, and he notices his bed is empty, reminding him of Juliana's absence. Mono no aware plays a big role in the way Kieran writes, even down to his penmanship. In this I actually make a slight reference to a Heian period literature called The Tale of Genji! In the beginning of his pov, Kieran is looking out over the sea that surrounds the academy as the wind whips around him, and he feels an emptiness in his life. This comes from a poem in the book: That the breaking waves harmonize with these sobs wrung from a grieving heart- is it because the wind blows from where someone yearns for me? Ok that's enough yapping out of me hopefully this makes sense lol.

March end of month post 1 of 3: Ten of my favourite plant and fungi photos I took in March 2024

Not quite the end of the month yet I know but as my March end of month posts are coming in three parts and I put them together on Thursday I thought I'd post one each night today, tomorrow and Sunday; tomorrow night at a similar time the post on ten of my favourite landscape and sky photos I took this month shall post and on Sunday ten of my favourite wildlife photos I took this month.

The photos in this set are of; daffodils and hyacinth at Lakeside Country Park, scarlet elf cup and jelly ear at Testwood Lakes, yellow fieldcap at Portland Bill, snake's-head fritillaries at Lakeside Country Park a sensation of my month as it often is in March, daffodil in Romsey, periwinkle in Winchester, wood anemone at Lakeside and common whitlowgrass at Denny Wood in the New Forest.

What a joy it has been to watch many more colourful floral delights emerge in March, many of them early in the theme of the year. Red and white deadnettle, speedwell, seas of lesser celandine, green alkanet, snowflakes, opposite-leaved golden saxifrage, herb-Robert, gorse, bluebells, primroses, ivy-leaved toadflax, cowslips, violet, daisies and dandelions have been other highlights as spring firmly took its grip. It's interesting that this is my fourth spring of really being into flowers and looking to identify all I've seen etc and whilst I'm so much more used to the species now there's always something to learn and I've seen some new ones this month which stood out so it always feels good. Turkey tail was another mushroom I saw a bit of this month as it was pleasant to encounter a few about.

on the subject of dorm room design in pokemon SV, i find it really interesting that, in one part of the zero labs near the end, the room where you meet the AI in person i think? you can find an area that has pictures of arven and maschiff on the left, a pile of empty noodle cups and delivery boxes just like penny's in the middle, and a collection of badges and awards just like nemona's on the right at a weird angle where you can barely even see them unless you're really looking for them
