Dear every person calling Israel "colonizers":
What is the shelf life of indigenousness? How long does it take for a people to lose the right to claim their homeland as their homeland? How long until Indigenous Americans no longer have a claim to the land the US exists on?
You are required to answer this question if you want to truly claim Jews are colonizers. Because I guarantee no definition you come up with to make Jews colonizers won't also erase the indigenousness of other groups you claim to support. So either you don't believe in those groups' indigenousness, or you're just denying Jewish indigenousness arbitrarily because you want an "acceptable" reason to hate them.
Or you could just stop saying that. The Israeli gov't can still be doing shitty things and Palestinians can be indigenous without you denying Jewish indigenousness. Multiple things can be true.

“You're brought what is seemingly an old page from an old book that the library once had. The kitten looked up at you a mewed, wanting you to read it . . . ”
major spoilers for High Cloud Quintet lore as well as Blade, Dan Heng, Jingliu and (minor) Jing Yuan lore | wc: 267
“Blade..” you murmur, looking at him as he stands across from you. He narrows his eyes, sword at his side.
“[name]..” he replies, tone deep as he keeps his distance. There's some silence before you speak to him for the first time in centuries.
“So.. how's it been, Ying-”
“Don't,” Blade cuts you off, his eyes narrowing further. You nod curtly.
“Blade, how's it been?” you corrected yourself. Ever since Dan Feng had committed his crimes, Jingliu lost herself to the Mara and disappeared, Yingxing became Blade and Baiheng died, you haven't been able to have any type of chat with anyone other than Jing Yuan.
Blade stays silent for a moment again before answering with a “Could be better,” and still eyeing you. What used to be gentle blue eyes were now a piercing red, staring right through you instead of at you.
Silence falls over the two old friends again, and Blade breaks that silence.
“Of six people,” he paused, pointing his sword at you as you remind straight-faced, looking at him dead on. "Three must pay a price, and you are not one of them, [name]."
You sigh as Blade sets his sword back down to his side, the tip of the sword facing the blue sky of Scalegorge Waterscape. You two keep eyes locked, his red eyes seemingly staring through you as he turns on his back to you and walks to the lady behind him to leave to who knows where.
You just wish things could go back to when life was good, but you had accepted long ago, that that was impossible. ☆

I’m absolutely OBSESSED with the concept of “Glamrock DJ Music Man”.
Not only can he give like, the BEST hugs ever, and kids likely wouldn’t be as scared of him, and he can DRAW, But there’s also so many ways that DJ being this shape would drastically change the flow of my AU!
If DJ looked like this? He would no longer be confined to the Arcade. He would have the freedom to roam where ever he wants to like the others do. So when DA starts acting weird and eventually disappears? Instead of just sitting there and hoping for the best.. DJ would just straight up leave the Arcade and go check on him. In which Sunny would be able to explain what was going on in the safety of the Daycare.
DJ would have access to so much more information as well! When Freddy and the gang started acting weird and disappeared, DJ would be able to actually go and talk to them. In which he would find out that something is wrong with all of them. DJ being unable to leave the Arcade has greatly limited everyone’s flow of information, considering the “bug” didn’t effect DJ the same way it did the others.. He could have witnessed everyone's slow decline into malfunction with clear eyes. And probably could have stopped it. He could have even told Freddy and the others about their weird behavior once they were fixed. But alas, in cannon he just simply cant leave the Arcade. And thus couldn’t help any of his friends in their time of need.🥺

realized that all of aang’s, korra’s, and kyoshi’s father figures and closest mentors were airbenders 😭🥺
it makes sense because i think airbenders are the more kind and gentler spirits whose selfless principles involve knowing how to take care of others and to give so much without expecting anything in return. i think that's why gyatso, tenzin, and kelsang were so effortlessly nurturing: despite these kids being strangers, they offered their love and support to them as if they were family. so it feels very natural that aang, korra, and kyoshi connected with and looked up to them, especially as avatars who strived to be as selfless as their mentors.

the return of my dedede wedding headcanon
he likes to keep it lighthearted and sweet; most of why people like having him officiate is because of his charisma. he’s great at handling whatever situation and usually good at ad libbing. and he genuinely loves doing it because well. it’s a party and it’s about people caring for each other, what’s not to love?
(tbh he probably tries to hide how much he cries at weddings but he just really likes love lol)
also! dreamland culture is kinda complicated, being made up of so many species from all over and who knows where, so there are a lot of different wedding traditions and no one way to do it
anyway, silly art
i just really felt like drawing something soft

a seat beside you. [isagi yoichi x reader]
notes: reader's gender unspecified, however mentioned to wear make up to cover up eyebags.
Isagi Yoichi doesn't really pay attention to many things that are not soccer. But, it was hard not to notice things about his seatmate. The one who was seated a few centimeters away from him every day—
You, the star student everyone relies on.
He knew that this was a way for his teachers to scold him to pay more attention to the class. Because if not so, then there was no reason to purposely put him—a student who is mediocre at most and forgetting assignments at worst—next to a perfect record of equally perfect scores like you. But, it wasn't as if it was a bad thing.
You helped Yoichi a lot by pointing at his textbook to where the teacher was explaining whenever he blanked out, explaining some parts on breaks when he asked, and even at some point you started to teasingly remind him about the homework through text.
All in all, you were very pleasant to have.
But, it truly was hard to not notice some things about you too as time went on.
Sometimes, your shoulder sagged and you had a faraway look on your face. At other times, your laugh comes out just a bit too stilted than usual. And just recently, the eyebags you hid under a tiddly applied makeup started to show up even more often.
At some point, to him, it became so easy to tell whenever you push yourself too much.
Yoichi was not quite sure he was close enough to ask you about things like this. He is just some classmate who happened to have his seat beside you and your number saved in his phone. He was also definitely not the best at reaching out to people effortlessly without any hint of awkwardness. Yoichi's anxious heart urged him to just stay silent—and it would not be wrong. He was simply not crossing the line of 'classmates' between the two of you.
But, it also felt wrong to do that.
You are a kind person. Yoichi didn't know many things about you, but you are indeed someone who helped him even when you didn't have to. You are also the only one who cared enough to ask him about his practice and how he was doing in class—it felt wrong to just ignore everything and watch you keep up the act in silence for whatever reason you might had.
That was why, during that Friday, Yoichi braved himself to ask you, his tone shushed, even as the class started to grow emptier.
"Hey, listen, you don't have to answer if you don't want to, but... are you okay? You look tired recently, so..."
And when he got a tired smile and a nervous laugh from you, let out through sagged shoulders and a long sigh with a hint of relief mixed in it, Yoichi felt so glad he chose to.
notes: isagi is an observant person, and there are some people who keep up the "mask" more than anyone else. but don't you think when you are in close proximity with someone every day, you can't really help but notice things about them? isagi is very soccer-headed, but he is kind and not an ungrateful person i think. this thing is a bit more mellow than my usual ones since the main feeling here is "ah, someone who keeps up a mask a lot of time contrasts isagi a lot. but if you think about it, isn't someone like isagi a good match for someone like that too in some degree?". also at the time when i wrote this, my feelings were a bit heavy, but in the end, i still enjoy writing even under such a feeling. I hope to come back to this idea again one day. in the tone of 'developing romance' and such, especially with isagi who seems to understand how it was to accommodate other people. i will think more about this premise again someday, it seems fun to explore more. all in all, think of it as another "more of a prologue meet cute" thing.
