Thanks to @spookiifi for the idea of there being cats at the library where Danica works.

For the purposes of this universe maybe a domestic tooka or two? They tend to nap in the shelves and adore the red Zabrak who scratches between their ears as she puts books away. She has even brought many treats and plush toys filled with a delightful scent.

As a way of repayment they nestle on her lap as she reads to the tiny patrons and purr. It seems to bring a smile to her face when they do so.

They wish she did that more so they attempt to do their best to comfort the sometimes sad girl.

They do get some assistance, a tall blue fellow who comes by. The tookas settle in their shelves and watch as the red Zabrak quickly brightens and calls out, “Ava”

“Ava” or so they are called always makes the Zabrak glow brighter, well it is his turn now to make the Zabrak happy. The tookas have done their part for the day and return to important business...
