In all seriousness, when I was in my 20s I spent way too much time reading tumblr and trying to figure out the right opinions to have on everything. It was pretty soul destroying now that I look back.

Eri, Elnora and Suletta all have red hair, it's the first thing that stuck out to me due to the title of the series being "witch from mercury" in the British isles red hair is associated with magic and being a witch to the point where a species of dodder (cuscuta europaea a parasitic plant) is called witches hair due to its red vines. This plant leaches off the other plants by attaching itself to the stems in order to steal nutrients, it is known among gardeners for particularly liking tomatoes. Witches hair has also been known to sometimes start accidentally eating itself.

lovelies, since we are dealing with some really messy messy bitches in ofts, i just want to remind everyone that english is a rich language with a variety of adjectives to describe people, and the usage of words which actually describe already incredibly stigmatised mental health issues is truly not necessary. sociopathic, psychopathic, narcissistic, psychotic, etc. truly just don't mean what you are trying to convey. usually simply googling the word followed by "synonyms" should give you a variety of more fitting descriptors.

I need tumblr to know that the generic bread that we have bought from Walmart did not go stale or moldy in the two months we left it on top of the fridge (in the bag, sealed with the power of those twisty tie things nothing else). It was still soft. Like it was fresh (obvs not and obvs the power of how many weird things they put into it).

As a science experiment, however, it has been approximately another week since we left one slice out (for science) to see if it would go stale and/or moldy. It went stale in like 5 hours outside of bag. Still hasn't gone moldy yet as far as we can see.

So. Um I love American Walmart White Bread.

I must be the only one with this particular pet peeve but I always twitch when characters say "aeons" in fiction because I was a paleontology and worldbuilding obsessed kid and I knew than an aeon in geology is the largest possible geological period, the entire period of eukaryotic life on Earth is a SINGLE aeon, we are talking about thousands of millions of years, so when a character says "I've been alive from aeons..." and they are at most a couple pathetic thousand years old I'm like "no, that's not right, that's not even geological time, do better"
