let’s just say... it’s complicated. there r heavy implications that they’re brothers, but it’s not directly confirmed. they literally just threw a bombshell in the last chapter that supported the theory. he only figured it out after he tried to kill itadori, and then he had a sort of flashback memory or episodic scene of him sitting with his late brothers, and for some reason itadori was there as well? and he was hella confused before he pieced everything together. he could tell bc he has the ability to sense what happens to the ppl who he’s related to through his blood technique, which is how he sensed that his little brothers were killed. so when itadori showed up in his vision... bam!

AND THAT MAKES ME SAD BC ITADORI PROBABLY UNKNOWINGLY KILLED HIS OWN BROTHERS IN S1EP24,,
