If Elio is the boy of summer then Eli is the boy of winter. Cosy jumpers, candles and old books.

Jewish, Italian and French.

Intelligent, anxious, shy, lacking self-confidence, caring, loving, romantic, introspective, loyal and introverted.

Eli has Crohn's disease. Crohn's disease is a long-term condition that causes inflammation of the lining of the digestive system. Some of the symptoms that Eli has is stomach cramping, digestive issues, extreme fatigue, sensitivity to foods, increased temperature and aching joints and muscles.

Eli was absent from school and had a few stays in the hospital as well as visits for his treatments and appointments. Being chronically ill throughout his childhood and teen years Eli missed out on building crucial social development skills.

Eli enjoys writing stories, writing poetry, collecting vintage books, reading fantasy, classic books, ancient history books and academic journals. Eli's love for books is almost an obsession, when he's not reading he wants to be reading. Eli also journals, scribbling down his thoughts and ideas for stories in his beat-up folded-over book.

The twin's mother is a therapist and their father is a professor. The twins were always surrounded by books and having thoughtful and complex conversations. The twins had a unique experience growing up, they had more freedom than their peers. The twins were very close to their parents but especially close with their father, a thoughtful and understanding man who encouraged the twins to live their lives purposefully and never take their time on earth for granted.

Verses: - 1983. 17 years old. Crema Italy. Elio lives with his parents at the Villa. - Modern day - 20- 23 years old, Eli is studying in the medical field to become a doctor.

i only do oc x cc or oc x oc double ups, no 1x1 and i want the doubles to be equal and fair so we can both get what we want, and we each will be playing side characters to move the plot along. I write 3-4 paragraphs in my responses and i want you to do the same with good spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc. I want a few good responses everyday, rapid fire, so if your inactive or busy a lot do not interact with this ad!! Feel free to ignore this. I’m new to the tumblr rpc (where I rp is very different from here) and I’m not american nor european, so there’s plenty I don’t understand. I don’t want this to come off rude, but why is it so important to ban certain fcs on Tumblr? I get the whole “do not use deceased fcs, minors or criminals”, but it feels a little over the top reading through banned fcs lists of over 50-100 people who have barely done anything that can be deemed as problematic. Isn’t the fc just that, a faceclaim? A visual representation. Their irl values don’t have to align with ours or our muses’. We’re not casting them for a movie role, they’re not getting paid. They’re definitely not getting any more famous because we use their gifs for rping purposes. It’s just that: a gif. An image. I honestly don’t see the big deal with using, say, Timothée Chalamet because he had a couple of movie roles that don’t fit my moral compass (CMBYN and ARDINY), which btw is different for everybody so I just can’t expect it to be universally wrong nor right. It just isn’t. So I don’t know. I’ve been in the tag for a few weeks now and I’m getting a bit anxious because every little thing seems like a problem, and as a much as I would like to try rping here, feels like even the slight slip up might end up in me getting “cancelled”.

you're not being rude, at all ! and i agree, tbh, but there's also like valid reasoning and it goes way more into depth. it's not black and white, but a huge grey area.

so, basically, banning faceclaims is something that roleplay groups usually do. sometimes, there's pre-established banned faceclaims on a list (which is usually based on the admin group's level of comfort and sometimes what they feel their prospective members would not like to see on the dash). from there, the players can tell the admins of trigger faceclaims that are put on the list to ensure their safety and comfort. it's also why you'll see some places ban halsey, and others don't - ect. cause, really it comes down to the admins and their players.

so, the premise of banned faceclaims is actually good to keep the roleplay community a safe place for people in a group setting and independently. but, i can see how it may come across as overboard. especially in groups where they have extensive lists.

at the end of the day, it just comes down to everyone's comfort level. to be honest, timothée is showing up on less and less banned fc lists - because the roleplay community switches up so fast - i get whiplash haha.

i think that's why most people tend to gravitate towards indie roleplaying. because you get to set your own boundaries, and people are more open-minded with plots and faceclaims (you make your own rules!).

like, even i have my own limits. i refuse to play against a specific faceclaim or even allow him in my roleplay groups because the mere sight of him makes me insides rot. again, it's all just a comfort thing.

i understand you may be a little uneasy, but... my ass has been cancelled like 1234567890 times and i'm still here with plots and friends and making groups. i lit just blast 'look what you made me do' by t. swift and carry on. i even had the audacity to make the rpc call me ‘dad’ for almost a solid year after being ‘cancelled’.

roleplaying is supposed to be fun. the community, itself, is.... chaotic, but once you find what type of roleplaying works for you, you find your roleplaying partners, and you create your own little place - it's a vibe. i promise.

Elio is a professional pianist. Enjoys drinking wine, smoking, performing in concerts, hopping from cafe to cafe across Paris and riding his bike. - 1998. 32 years old. Elio is living in Paris, he runs a classical piano masterclass and is a world-renowned teacher. - 2003. 37 years old. Elio has moved back to the villa in Italy to take care of his unwell mother and care for his young stepbrother Ollie. He runs lessons from the Villa and people travel from all over the world to stay and learn from Elio. - 2023. 57 years old. Elio owns the Villa and both of his parents have passed, Ollie has moved out but visits regularly. Elio is rattling around in the large house, he still runs piano courses and hosts his students. He enjoys travelling.
