Anakin flirting with m reader and ending making out? Pls
Anakin Skywalker x Male reader

Tumblr media
You are a non-jedi general during the Clone wars, cuz yall lost focus and had a consensual workplace relationship.
This turned out a lot sweeter than i had planned ngl.
You were a general during the clone wars. You weren’t anything special, you couldn’t use the force, you weren’t from some rich or special background, your name didn’t carry any weight. The only gift you seemed to have, was your inability to be affected by the force. All in all, you weren’t anything to write home about.
Of course, that’s also what made you so damn useful in your role. No one kept an eye on you, everyone underestimated you, you could get away with so much because to most people in charge, you didn’t exist. You not being able to be manipulated by the force, also made you extremely skilled in what you did, without anyone seeming to notice.
Your feat of climbing the military ranks in leaps and bounds only got you mild acknowledgments, and a handful of attempted manipulations from some people in power. But when they realized you didn’t bend, but you weren’t important enough to get rid of, they left you alone.
At 22 you had reached the rank of senior general in the republic army, placing you above even a good chunk of the jedi you fought against, which was also why you had been placed with the 501st, to apparently teach their general the basics.
Anakin and Obi-Wan had both been unsettled by the fact that they couldn’t sense you in the force the first time you met. Every being, even the nonliving, had a presence. But you didn’t. it was like you didn’t exist.
That took quite some time to get used too, especially to someone as force sensitive as Anakin. But over time you two started getting along, and though it took him some time and a lot of grumbling, Anakin did learn quite a lot from you.
The flirting had been subtle in the beginning, or as subtle as Anakin could be. From getting your help on reports and readings he just “couldn’t understand”, to getting you to help him stretch after he had spent hours going through his katas.
You weren’t oblivious, you couldn’t be with the life you lived, so of course you noticed his attempts at flirting. It was endearing in a way. To see someone who was supposed to have no connection to people like that, seem so drawn to you.
It also left you feeling uneasy in a way, as you had never really had much time to relationships or even flirting for that matter, having spent all these years making something of yourself.
Alongside the flirting you two became good friends, and you had even signed yourself up to stay with his platoon, even when your training was done. This was also where you learned he had had a thing with Padme, but they realized they were better as friends a while ago.
When you shared your own lack of experience, it seemed to boost some of Anakin’s confidence, seeing as you both were on new ground. And like with anything else, he took to it with gusto.
The fact that you never turned him down or rejected him, sometimes even laughing and playing along, only made Anakin try even harder. It was cute, to see him trying his best to woo you in a subtle and less noticeable way, seeing as he was still a jedi and it wasn’t actually allowed.
The 501st knew though. Of course they knew, and when Ahsoka came around she figured it out very fast, and she most likely took up the role as hype man and background support.
Your flirting became part of your dynamic, it was just something that you two did, which to outsiders was just seen as banter to keep the spirits up.
It also didn’t go past flirting for a long time, seeing as you guys were always surrounded by people. And being besides Anakin didn’t let you slip into the shadows like you were used too, since he would glow so brightly.
The need for privacy was what had you two slinking off to the side during one of the nights in camp, the platoon having settled down on a planet and waiting for their next orders. Anakin and you had decided to wander off, settling somewhere nearby, but far enough away to get some time alone together.
There might also have been a bottle of alcohol in your coat. It was nowhere near enough to get either of you drunk, especially with the force helping clear it out of Anakin’s system quicker than average folk. But it was enough to loosen up and get comfortable.
Your normal banter of flirting was constant, but as the buzz settled it became something softer and somehow hotter, the feelings growing thick in the air and noticeable enough that even you, who was as force sensitive as a rock if not lesser, could sense it.
Anakin must have made some corny pass at you, that cocky grin on his lips and his hair brushed back and out of his face, letting you truly see his handsome features. Something came over you, later you would blame the force, but it just felt right.
Leaning in and closing the gap between you seemed to have shocked Anakin, his eyes wide before he seemingly melted against you, arms wrapping around your neck and torso and pulling you even closer.
The kiss was far from the most skilled or pleasant, but your shared lack of experience was fully made up for by enthusiasm.
Anakin would pant and grunt as the kiss turned steamier, lips parting and tongues rubbing together, spit gathering at the edges of your mouths and a line of drool running down his chin. His eyes were shut tightly in concentration, his brows furrowed and hands grasping as your coat.
You had no idea how long you two were laying there, kissing like two lovesick fools from some romance novel. Hands were grasping and exploring, but never going further than that. Now wasn’t the time to go any wilder than what you were doing, but the possibility of it was enough to make the kiss even better.
When you pulled away, Anakin leaned after you with a soft noise, bottom lip pouting out and red from the insistent kissing, his eyes cracking open to look at you with the softest look you had ever seen from him.
“Not all of us can hold our breath for hours” you snarked with a soft chuckle, since you knew he could, thanks to the force. Your jedi grumbled, but tucked his head under your chin, still clutching you close and brushing his lips against your neck.
Neither of you spoke for a while, just holding onto each other. You found yourself brushing your fingers through his hair, Anakin almost arching into the touch like an affection starved tooka, a sight that only made you smile more.
“I like you a lot” he mumbled, glancing up at you through his lashes with that insistent determined, but somehow still soft and warm look in his eyes. Just seeing him like that made you wanna kiss him again, to devour him whole.
“I think I like you too” you replied, an upwards tick to your lips as you pulled him close again. Even without the ability to feel the force, you could still feel it flare, like the sun rising in the morning. It would be no surprise if Ahsoka knew exactly what had happened, and the padawan would be confronting you guys about it later.
But right now all that mattered was laying there with Anakin, and maybe stealing a couple more of those deep insistent and longing kisses, since he sounded so pretty when you did. You guys could deal with everything else later.

Prompt - The five times you hugged Captain Rex plus the one time he hugs you
Tumblr media
The first time it happened Rex wasn’t expecting it. His attention hadn’t even been on you at the time, which was rare in itself because his eyes always seemed to find you. Now though he was focused on the scene ahead, the memory of battle droids coming from all over, too many to count and even less time to think playing in his mind. The only thing that mattered was his blaster and the droids.
When the fight was over and the battle won Rex walked away, there were too many of his brothers lying motionless on the floor. Battles were hard, war was hard and sometimes he just needed a moment.
He didn’t know for sure how long he’d been gone for before he heard footsteps behind him. He didn’t turn to look at whoever had approached him either. He just stared ahead.
You smiled sadly at Rex, lately the battles had been worse than ever, more and more of the 501st were dying and you knew it was taking a toll on the Captain. You didn’t need the Force to feel his sadness, it was written across his face plain as day.
Rex stayed silent, not even glancing over at you and you weren’t sure he was even fully aware you were there, lost in his own thoughts, drowning in loss and pain.
You wrapped your arms around him, it was the only thing you could do, there were no words to make any of this better, as much as you wished they could there were no words that could bring his brothers back, no words that would end the war.
The only thing you could do was remind him he wasn’t alone.
The first sign Rex gave of finally noticing you were the was by tensing in your arms, his whole body stiff as a board at the contact. You stayed where you were though, head against the plastic on his chest and arms around his waist.
“What are you doing?” He finally managed to ask, his voice low as he tried his best to keep his composure even as the feeling of you around him made him want to break.
“Hugging you.” You answered quietly, feeling the confusion coming from him and your heart ached for the Captain.
“Why?” He asked again, swallowing around the lump in his throat and hating the stinging of tears he felt.
“Because I’m sorry. Because you’re not alone, because this war is exhausting.” You sighed and felt him take a shuddering breath, hesitating a moment before bringing his arms to wrap around you.
The touch was unsure, like he hadn’t actually ever hugged anybody before and with what little information you’d managed to piece together about Kamino and the Kaminoans you wouldn’t have been too surprised if that was the case after all.
Rex stayed like that for a little longer, somehow the feel of your arms around him made things seem a little better, made it a little easier to breathe.
Tumblr media
The next time it happened neither of you had been expecting it. It had been months since you had last hugged Rex though since then you had thought about it plenty.
Rex and you had been commanded to lead half of the 501st to one side of the base whilst Anakin led the other half to the other side.
That should have been the easy part and yet when an explosion sounded from Anakin’s side your stomach dropped before suddenly there was a full battalion of battle droids in front of you.
You lost track of who was where, lost in the midst of battle droids, deflecting blaster shots as quickly as you could but even you were struggling to keep up as the battle droids drew closer.
At some point you managed to get it under control, ending up back to back with Jesse as you took down as many droids as you could.
It felt like the battle went on for hours, by the end of it you were bruised and sore but still alive. You looked around the battlefield, trying to find Rex among the crowd and gasped when you saw him on the ground, members of the 501st surrounding him.
You pushed through the small crowd and knelt down next to him, carefully pulling off his helmet to see a cut above his forehead bleeding heavily down his face.
“Help me get him to Kix.” You said to Fives and Echo, both of them nodding and carefully picking Rex up between them.
You had wanted to wait with Rex until he was awake but the Council had insisted on having both you and Anakin present as you gave accounts of what had happened. You had tried to argue with Anakin, watching as he threw a worried look his Captain’s way but told you it was the Council’s orders.
Kix had been the one to assure you that Rex would be alright, that he just needed some rest and then he’d be up like nothing had happened. You had gotten him to promise to send someone to get you if Rex so much as winced in pain and he sent you away with an amusement smile.
“You’ve got a good one there, Captain.” Kix murmured to the sleeping man once you were out of ear shot.
You barely heard anything during the meeting, both Obi-Wan and Master Windu had to call for your attention several times and when it came time for you to recount what had happened on your side you rushed through it, hoping to get back to Rex’s side before he woke up.
“Is everything alright, Y/N?” Obi-Wan asked you softly, his concern clear across his face.
“Rex got injured during the attack.” Anakin answered for you and Obi-Wan’s look of concern shifted to one of knowing, not that you were sure what it was he knew.
“We shouldn’t be too long now, Y/N. You can check on your Captain soon enough.” Master Windu shot Obi-Wan a small glare but you didn’t care enough to read into it, just smiled gratefully at Obi-Wan and prayed to the Force that it really wouldn’t take much longer.
By the time the meeting finally ended you were practically bouncing on your heels to get back to Rex. When the holo shut off you turned to see Anakin looking at you with a mix of fondness and amusement.
“Go on then, go see your Captain.” Anakin smirked, copying Obi-Wan’s words from earlier.
You didn’t even stop to roll your eyes at him, instead you practically ran from the tent and back over to where the med bay had been set up. You paused when you saw Rex walking out, a frown on his face as he rubbed at his temple carefully.
You immediately made your way over to him, throwing your arms around his waist to hug him tightly. Without the plastic armour in the way you could hear his heart beating quickly in his chest.
“I’m so glad you’re okay.” You murmured into his chest, closing your eyes and focusing on that heartbeat.
Just like last time Rex went stiff in your hold but it didn’t last long, the Captain let himself relax in your arms, bringing his own arms up to wrap around you, letting you ground him now that the battle was done.
Tumblr media
Rex was tired. It was hard to know what day it was whilst they travelled through hyperspace, the cycles all merging into one another.
He hasn’t slept in days, after the latest mission that had left everyone sore and drained, he had avoided his room and focused on his holopad, making sure everything was up to date.
He frowned to himself as he wrote down the names of all who had been lost in the battle, letting anger and rage wash over him before shaking his head. There was nothing he could do for them now, he could only protect what was left of his brothers.
He pushed himself away from the table, unable to carry on and walked out of the room, making his way through the corridors of the ship with no real destination in mind and feeling some of the tension leave his shoulders when he saw you talking to Echo and Fives.
You were the first to notice him, your whole face lighting up with a smile when you saw him and Rex felt his heart speed up. That was something he had started noticing more and more, whenever he saw you his heart raced wildly. He knew he liked you, from the moment he met you his first thought was that you were so beautiful but he never dreamed of acting on his thoughts.
There was too much risk involved for both of you and besides what would somebody like you ever want with him? Rex was just another Clone, sure he might have the title of Captain but at the end of the day when somebody looked at him all they saw was a Clone.
“Rex!” You beamed as he approached the three of you, watching as Echo and Fives grinned at each other after looking between Rex and you.
“General.” He smiled back, his smile widening as you rolled your eyes at him.
For months now you had insisted he call you by your name and for months he had held onto your title.
“We were just going.” Fives said, giving Echo a pointed look and Echo chuckled as he agreed, the two of them waving goodbye whilst snickering to each other.
“I don’t even want to know what they’re up to.” You laughed softly before turning your attention back to Rex, smile dimming slightly when you saw the tiredness that seemed to radiate from him. “You okay?”
“No need to worry about me.” Rex told you in lieu of a real answer causing your eyebrows to knit together.
Rex knew you wouldn’t let the topic drop, he knew once you got it into your head that he wasn’t ok you wouldn’t just leave him be. If it had been anyone else it would have bothered him, he hadn’t asked for help so he didn’t need it. But somehow it was different when it was you, somehow when it was you he didn’t mind.
In fact it sent a warm feeling through him, one that he usually tried not to think too hard about. Recently though he hadn’t been able to ignore it, it had been months since that first time you had hugged him and yet that small bit of contact seemed to have awoken something inside him.
Rex shouldn’t have been as surprised as he was to feel your arms around him, now that you’d done it once and he hadn’t pushed you away you seemed to have taken that as acceptance even if he himself had never initiated a hug yet.
“It’s been a long mission, huh?” You murmured into his chest, your hand rubbing a comforting rhythm into his back and he felt himself begin to relax with each brush.
The hugs seemed to break down any walls he had, sending them crumbling like they were nothing more than a house of cards. Each time you hugged him he felt the embarrassing sting of tears that were unbecoming of a Captain, if any of his men could see him now.
But they couldn’t.
The hallways were clear and he had a feeling Echo and Fives would see to it that they stayed that way if their matching grins meant anything. He laughed in your hold, the sound coming out weak and more sob-like and he was faster to wrap his arms around you this time, letting his head rest on top of yours to hide his watery eyes.
“Yeah,” He breathed out, “yeah General it has.”
There wasn’t much more to be said, nothing changed the fact that you were in the middle of a war. Your soft whispered words of reassurance made him feel better, but nothing helped as much as your arms holding him tight, reminding him that no matter how much he lost, he still had you.
Tumblr media
The next time you hugged Rex was different compared to all the other times. It happened on a night where the 501st were grounded in Coruscant and the men had all planned a much, much needed night at 79’s.
Rex hadn’t been the one to ask you to join them, Jesse had beat him to it but when you protested, claiming that this should be time they spent together and away from their General’s Rex had laughed and insisted you were welcome, that they’d be more than happy for you to come with them.
“Are you sure you guys don’t mind me coming along?” You asked and Rex had given up counting how many times you’d ask the same question since he arrived to pick you up at the Jedi Temple.
The moment he first saw you he felt his eyes widen and he cursed his stupid heart as it began its predictable quickening pace that it had developed around you. You looked beautiful though, gone were the Jedi robes and in their place was a short dress that had Rex swallowing around a sudden lump in his throat.
“General, I swear to you we’re all happy you’re joining us tonight.” Rex told you with a warm laugh that had you smiling over at him, feeling your own heart begin to match the speed of the Captain’s.
You had never been to 79’s before and you couldn’t help but smile as you walked into the cantina, you recognised troopers from all different battalions, the place was warm and you couldn’t help the sudden intake of breath when you felt Rex’s hand on your lower back, the most amount of contact he had initiated with you outside of the battlefield.
You let Rex guide you over to a booth at the back, overly aware of his hand the whole time and savouring the feel of him against you before he let go to gesture for you to enter the booth first. You smiled at the cheery welcome the pair of you got from those who were already there, recognising both members of the 501st and the 212th.
Rex took the holopad from Cody with a smile, starting a conversation with the Commander as he ordered the two of you drinks. Your smile widened when you realised you didn’t have to tell him your drink of choice, watching as he ordered your usual without needing to ask.
One drink turned into two, two into four and before you knew it you were leaning into Rex’s side, cheeks flushed from the alcohol and laughing loudly along with the others at something Fives had said.
If asked Rex wouldn’t have been able to repeat what Fives had said, he was too busy looking at you. You were beautiful all the time but this was a side to you he didn’t get to see often, one he wanted to see much more, usually everything was shrouded with a bone deep exhaustion from the war but here it was easy to forget what was happening, here he could sit back and watch you laugh.
In here it was easy to forget the rules, forget that you were his General and he could be sent back to Kamino if he dared give into his feelings for you. In here it was easy to forget that both Jedi and Clones were forbidden from such thoughts, easy to forget everything when he could feel your head on his shoulder as you leaned against him, your whole body pressed against his.
It was hard to remember why he couldn’t just wrap his arm around your shoulder and pull you closer, hard to remember why he couldn’t pull you onto his lap and pepper kisses along your neck.
He was seconds away from reaching out to touch you when he glanced across the table and saw Cody, a knowing, sad look on his face and Rex could only shake his head, not letting the harsh reminder that he couldn’t have you ruin his night.
You stayed where you were for hours, pressed against Rex and laughing into his chest as you drank more drinks. It wasn’t long from sunrise when you turned further into Rex’s chest, eyes growing tired and you let the fall closed, wrapping an arm across Rex’s waist and feeling him relax in your hold.
Rex didn’t want to move you, here you were cuddling him but he knew he couldn’t let you. Just a small taste was enough to ruin him. So with a heavy heart he shook you gently, watching as you frowned and tried to bury yourself further into him. He couldn’t help but chuckle as he watched you pry your eyes open to glare at him.
“Let me take you back to the Temple.” Rex said softly, leaning down slightly so only you could hear him.
“You don’t have to.” You tried to insist but Rex wasn’t having it, Jedi or not there was no way he was letting you make your way back to the Temple alone.
“Come on, General.” He grinned at you, sliding out of the booth and holding a hand out for you. “Let’s get you home.”
You laughed softly as you slipped your hand into Rex’s, ignoring the loud cheers coming from behind you and waving goodbye to the other’s still left drinking.
The cold air hit you as soon as you stepped out of the cantina, a nice breeze cooling you down from the warmth of 79’s. You watched as Rex got the two of you a taxi and slid in next to him once more, not hesitating to plaster yourself against him considering this could be your only chance to be so close to him, knowing that you could both just blame it on the alcohol.
Rex spent most of the drive resisting the urge to wrap you in his arms, you made it look so easy each time you did it and Rex was growing annoyed with himself and his inability to just pull you closer.
By the time you pulled up to the Temple you weren’t ready to say goodnight to Rex but you knew there was nothing else you could do to stay in his company.
“I’m glad you came tonight…Y/N.” You couldn’t stop yourself from grinning ear to ear as Rex finally used your name, dismissing any titles and ranks between you.
“I’m glad too.” You told him softly, taking a step towards him and wrapping your arms around his waist. “Thank you for making sure I did, I had a great time.”
Rex wrapped his arms around you easier than any other time, only hesitating for half a second before did, his chin resting on your head as he savoured the feeling of you against him whilst also cursing how easy you had made it seem to close the distance between the two of you.
“I’ll see you soon, yeah?” Rex asked once the two of you finally pulled away from each other and you nodded, smiling softly at him. “Goodnight, Y/N.”
“Goodnight, Rex.” You murmured, turning to the entrance of the Temple and only looking back before you entered, smiling as you saw Rex watching after you, making sure you were in safely before he left.
Tumblr media
“She’ll be back before you know it.” Fives assured him, nudging Rex’s shoulder as he sat down next to his brother.
“I should be with her.” Rex told him, tenser than he had been in a long time outside of a battle.
It had been days since you’d left, Obi-Wan had asked for your assistance in an undercover mission and you had agreed. When you told Rex he felt his heart just about stop, a complete opposite reaction to what it usually had around you.
He hated that you were leaving the 501st, he hated that you were leaving him. Out on missions it was you and him, he watched you back and you watched his, if he wasn’t there anything could happen to you.
“She’ll be fine, you know Cody won’t let anything happen to your girl.” Echo said and both him and Fives took great delight in watching Rex’s head shoot up to look at him with wide eyes.
“She isn’t my girl.” Rex grumbled after a minute had passed and Echo and Fives scoffed causing Rex to glare at the pair.
“She’s as good as.” Fives smirked. “What’s stopping you from making a move?”
“I can’t.” Rex sighed, he wanted to, he really did. It was all he could think about some days, whenever you were close to him, whenever you wrapped your arms around him, whenever the two of you stayed up late talking about everything and nothing. All he wanted was you. “You know the rules.”
“Is she worth the risk to break them?” Echo asked him softly, the amusement leaving his eyes as he looked at Rex’s seriously.
“Of course she is.” Rex answered without a moment’s hesitation. “I’m just not sure I’m worth the risk.”
Neither Echo nor Fives said anything more on the topic, quickly changing the subject in an attempt to get that sad, broken look off Rex’s face. It didn’t matter that they both knew you were head over heels for Rex, it didn’t matter that they knew you’d risk everything in a heartbeat for him. It was something Rex needed to figure out for himself.
“She was supposed to be back two weeks ago, General Skywalker says it’s been complete radio silence and I can’t contact Cody.” Rex groaned, pacing the floor of the grounded ship.
“It’s an undercover mission, you know how unpredictable they are.” Jesse tried to reason with him but Rex was beyond that.
He was a mess, he hadn’t slept in days, all his dreams were haunted by images of what could have happened to you and he cursed General Kenobi for taking you from him, if something had happened to you he would never forgive himself.
“The General’s back!” Fives shouted as he ran into the room, grinning at Rex who stopped in his tracks and practically broke his neck with how fast he turned to look at his brother. “Her, Kenobi and the 212th are outside.”
Rex didn’t need to hear anymore, he was brushing past Fives, ignoring the laughter that faded as he headed towards the ship's exit, practically running off the ship in a desperate need to make sure you were alright.
Even though he was looking for you, you found him first, grinning from your place with Obi-Wan, Anakin and Cody over at Rex and breaking away from the group without a word. They all watched you make your way over to Rex, the man pausing once he saw you, his eyes scanning you up and down but you didn’t give him much of a chance to look as you wrapped your arms around him and hugged him tightly.
Rex felt like he could breathe for the first time in days and didn’t hesitate to wrap his arms around you, drawing you impossibly closer and assuring himself you were safe.
“Are you okay?” Rex murmured into your hair, “You were supposed to be back weeks ago, I was worried.”
“I’m fine.” You told him with a soft laugh, pulling away only far enough so you could look up at him, smiling brightly at him as you watched him take in your features and see for himself that you really were fine. “We ran into a few problems but everything’s fine, we got the information we needed.”
“I’m just glad you’re okay.” Rex told you honestly and you smiled softly up at him, Rex smiling back down at you and both of you couldn’t help but think how easy it would be to close the gap between you.
For now though it didn’t matter, you were both content with this, simply holding each other, knowing that you had each other.
Tumblr media
Rex could see it happen.
It was like a scene playing out before his eyes, he was just a bystander that couldn’t interfere. He tried to, stars had he tried. He ran until his sides ached and kept running but it was too late.
You were gone. The Separatist leader had taken you and Rex hadn’t been able to stop it. The only thing Rex knew was that he was made to protect you, not because you were his General, not because of his loyalties to the Republic but because he loved you.
He loved you and he never told you and now you were gone.
General Skywalker was furious. The 501st were devastated but no one more than Rex felt your loss.
He was heartbroken, he had to get you back and yet all the Council wanted to do was talk. Rex was ready to leave, he would find you on his own. There was no time for meetings behind closed doors, not when with each second that passed you got further and further away from him.
Days had passed with no action and Rex had had enough. The ship was grounded and he had no trouble sneaking away, ready to steal a smaller ship and head off to find you, though he had no real destination in mind, he would search the whole galaxy just to find you.
“Rex.” Anakin called just as he was about to climb into a ship.
Rex froze, torn between facing his General and carrying on ahead. He was about to take another step forward when Anakin spoke again.
“I’m coming with you.” At that Rex did turn around, seeing Anakin with a determined look on his face, lightsaber clutched in his hand as he walked over to the ship. “The Council has no immediate plans to help, we’re on our own.”
“We’ll find her, Sir.” Rex said firmly because there was no other option.
It had been three weeks since you’d been taken and Rex was losing his mind.
Anakin ignored calls from the Council, only answering them if they came from Obi-Wan who provided as much information as he could about possible locations you could be but other than that there was nothing.
Each place they’d searched ended with Rex breaking more and more, if they didn’t find you soon there would be nothing left of him to break. He slept very little and ate even less, his mind on a constant loop of all the terrible things that could be happening to you.
It was Obi-Wan who had suggested visiting Mevara, a planet on the outer rim known for its Separatist activity. Rex couldn’t set himself up for another failure and yet he still felt a small glimmer of hope that he knew would surely be crushed.
They had searched for hours before Anakin froze, Rex just narrowly avoided going into the back of him as he stared at the General in confusion.
“Sir?” He finally asked after Anakin had been still for nearly a minute, a frown on his face before he snapped back to himself.
“She’s here.” Anakin told him and Rex felt his heart stop as Anakin turned to face him.
“You’re sure, Sir?” Rex whispered, wide, hope filled eyes staring into Anakin’s.
“She’s here, Rex.” Anakin repeated and that was all Rex needed.
He let Anakin lead the way, the pair of them sneaking into one of the many Separatist bases on the planet and Anakin used the Force to find you, though their search was interrupted by battle droids.
Anakin called over to Rex where you were and Rex didn’t hesitate to fight his way through the droids, not feeling bad as he left Anakin behind to deal with the worst of them. He ran as fast as he could and came to the room Anakin had said, holding his breath before opening the door.
You were being held up by a containment field and after a quick scan of the room Rex ran over and made quick work of getting you down. He caught you by your arms and you let out a sob as you looked up at him.
“You came.” You whispered, the words catching in your throat from screaming and lack of water.
Rex couldn’t stop himself, for the first time since he’d met you he was the first to pull you into his arms.
You were exhausted, completely drained and your whole body ached in a way that words couldn’t even begin to describe. So when Rex pulled you into a tight hug, his fingertips buried in your sides and his head pressed into your hair, you should have cried out in pain, should have winced and pushed him away.
Instead when he wrapped you up tightly in his arms you couldn’t move for a second, frozen at the contact because it had been so long since somebody’s touch had been kind and then you let out a shuddering breath, tears finally coming to your eyes and flooding down your face uncontrollably. It was only then you moved, wrapping your arms around his shoulders and burying your face in his neck, soaking his skin with your tears but Rex didn’t care.
Rex held you close, hearing Anakin come to a stop in the doorway but he didn’t care, he had finally gotten you back and nothing was going to stop him from holding you, no amount of rules or consequences were enough to drag him from you.
He held you tightly, grounding and comforting you like you’d done with him so many times and you melted against him, the aches and sores easier to ignore in Rex’s arms and it was so easy to let yourself fall apart in them.
“You’re okay, you’re okay mesh’la, I got you, you're alright.” Rex kept murmuring into your hair, the words washing over you, soothing you completely as you let yourself be held. “You’re alright, love, that’s it, I’ve got you.”
“Thank you for coming.” You whispered into his neck and Rex felt his heart break.
“I’ll always come for you, cyar’ika, always.” Rex promised as he placed a kiss to the top of your hair, the two of you finally back in each other’s arms, exactly where you were meant to be.

Starved
Commander Wolffe x Reader
This is like after sex pollen? I’m not very good at writing smut so it basically hints at it. So nsfw?
Rushed ending because I’m exhausted and trying to write with a concussion is hard 🙃 hope everyone that reads enjoys and my request are open!
Tumblr media
The mission had been a success, a wonderful experience until it wasn’t. You had never encountered such a powerful, yet deadly plant before. No text in the Jedi temple had prepared you for it. No amount of meditation could have prevented it, or help you understand. You wish a black hole could swallow you up but that isn’t likely to happen.
Walking the halls of the Triumphant felt like a task. With each sluggish step you took felt like you took two steps backwards, if that makes sense. Oh, nothing makes sense anymore. Your heart beats like a drum in your chest, but reminds you that you’re okay, you made it out alive. You had Wolffe to thank for that as well.
Wolffe had been the one to follow you into the jungle. You had been advised to wait for the guide to take you and the troopers back to the village but you were impatient. Why couldn’t you have just waited? What had been so important that you just had to go? Skipped right into the jungle like you knew everything.
You are partly glad it had been him and not one of the others. Partly because of your feelings for him, oh maker, your feelings for him had been amplified ten fold due to the effects of the plant. You had never seen him look so… so unsure, anxious even. He had stumbled towards you, his hands looked to have a shake in them.
“Wolffe, please” you remember the whine in your voice, the desperate tone laced with each word that came spilling from your mouth. His hands had cradled your face, his touch delicate but erupted a fire inside of you.
The sudden need for him, left him speechless. He stuttered over his word like all his training had gone within the instant he knew you were in trouble. You had confessed to everything, your feelings, your wants, your needs. In that moment it was him, he was the very thing that had breathed life into you. His touch awakening things that you had long forgotten.
Your door swooshing open brought you back to the present. You didn’t even remember putting the code in but you did. Once inside and the door had shut behind you, you begin to undress. Your body aches in ways it’s never ached before. Taking your time to get inside your refresher before pressing a few buttons and the water begins to rain down on you.
“I love you!” The words had clawed their way out from the deepest parts of you. You had crumbled in his arms begging for more, begging for him. He had been such a beautiful sight, one you can selfishly say is yours and yours alone.
However, you remember how your name had sounded coming from his mouth. How he repeated it like a mantra. His eyes had never left yours, its etched into your brain. You are sure it’ll be a lasting memory that you would revisit over and over again.
“Cyar’ika, oh maker, I love you” his words had been enough for you to come undone for him, and only him. He had been so gentle the first time but it wasn’t enough.
There’s a slight sting on your shoulder, and you bring your fingers to run over the surface of the mark. He had bitten you and a small smile forms on your lips. You didn’t even realize he done it. You are sure there are more marks littered along your body marks he had given you.
Once out of the refresher, you dress in your Jedi robes. You slowly sit on the floor. Trying to think of anything other than what had happened. You couldn’t tell anyone, not even your closest friends. You close your eyes, two thoughts clouding your mind. One, you should apologize and two just forgetting the whole thing happened.
However, you can’t just forget. Your whole self had been laid out for him to see. Even sides of yourself you had not known had been shown to you. You have to face it.
Tumblr media
Wolffe sit in his barracks, he had just finished washing himself up. He didn’t know how to tackle something like this. Should he go apologize? If he didn’t go after you then this would not have happened. Yet, perhaps someone else would have stumbled upon you, his jaw clenches at the thought of one of his brothers being the one to find you in such a state. He wouldn’t have been able to protect you.
He has already convinced himself that everything you had said and done was due to the plant. He couldn’t let what happened ruin his friendship with you. Unless it’s already ruined. He really hopes it’s not. He should have just talked you into letting him bring you back to the ship. He could have put you in a bacta tank.
“Please, I need you” your voice had been so desperate, his forehead rested on yours, he didn’t have much time to think properly, you were in pain. Your lips had been so soft against his, the kiss alone and unlocked every feeling he had for you.
Every noise you had made, every word you had uttered echos in his mind. He could never forget it. He would revisit the memory and it would still be fresh in his mind.
“I would leave the Jedi order, for you and only you” the look in your eyes, like you spoke the truth. He would leave all this behind and follow you anywhere. He could selfishly admit that he is yours and you are his and only his. He would give you everything and anything.
He had been in love you from the start, the moment he had met you he had been lost in you. He spent days and weeks trying to figure out how to be next to you. In the end all it took was a simple conversation that lead to you never wanting to leave his side.
“Don’t let me go, Wolffe” you had pleaded and he broke down every barrier “I love you, I love you” the words laced together leaving you both gripping on to each other, trying to get closer. Lips finding each others, bodies moving as one and his lips had found your shoulder, leaving a sloppy kiss before he barred his teeth and suck them into your soft skin.
His body had moves before he has an idea where he’s going. He’s in the hall, practically running. He shouldn’t have let you go off on your own. He should have stayed at your side. Helped you into your room, helped you clean yourself off from everything. He stands at your door, his finger pressing in the code and door swooshes open. You stand before him, eyes bloodshot, hair still dripping. Your mouth opens but he shakes his head. He steps into the room and pulls you into his arms.
You’re both apologizing. He leads you back over to the bed, he lays you down before climbing in beside you. Your head rests on his chest, his heart is pounding in his chest.
“Stay with me” you whisper as you lift yourself up to look at him “I don’t regret walking into that plant, I don’t regret what happened, you’re all I want” you press your forehead to his and his hand cup your cheeks “I’m here, I’m not going anywhere” he lifts up to press a soft kiss to your lips.

Imagine...
501st (everyone lives AU) playing D&D.
I don't have anything else for this thought right now, but... I would love to see that.
Anyone have any thoughts? Who would DM? What kind of characters would each of them build?

𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐢 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫? — 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒄𝒐𝒅𝒚
Tumblr media
summary — you’re nearly killed by your lover, commander cody, when order 66 is announced. when you wake up, the war is over and you have to confront what happened.
warnings — gn!jedi!reader, so much angst, minuscule amounts of fluff, established relationship, mentions of death, mentions of injury, order 66
requested by — @starlit-epiphany
note — i listened to ‘what was i made for?’ by billie eilish for this whole thing and…well let’s just say it was inspiring.
Tumblr media
𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍’𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐊𝐄 𝐔𝐏 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 morning thinking the universe was going to implode. the bad feeling in your gut was because of your up and coming mission, not that the chancellor had everyone fooled.
you stood on the landing pad with the 212th in utapau. your arms were crossed, your face twisted with discomfort. something was wrong, and you didn’t know what.
“you’re in your own little world, aren’t ya?” the pleasant and comforting voice of your lover interrupted your thoughts. you peered up at him and smiled at him. despite jedi not being allowed romantic attachments, you couldn’t help it when it came to obi-wan kenobi’s commander.
“always,” you joked back.
“what’s wrong?” he asked you. cody was aware of the risk he took talking to you, but he saw the way your eyes were distant and your face was tense.
“it’s probably nothing, just nerves, i guess,” you shrugged it off. cody, however, didn’t. you didn’t get nervous often, you were confident in your abilities as a jedi and even when you weren’t, he was there. he was always there.
“it’s never nothing, you know. it’s gonna be alright,” oh how you held onto those words.
obi-wan readied to go, ending grievous’ life once and for all. you held back the droids the best you could. maybe that feeling in your stomach was misplaced. maybe, for once, your gut was wrong. then it was heavier, then it became harder to breathe. your eyes slid over to cody, begging him to turn to face you. he did, and there it was. the shift. your stomach dropped, your eyes filled with a fear you’ve never known before.
“cod-” you were cut short, two short blasts piercing two holes in your body. tears formed in your eyes, your body shaking. you dropped to your knees, your eyes looking up at cody again. you gritted your teeth, pain pushing through your body, both physical and emotional pain. how could you do this to me?
you laid back, your world darkening. your eyes watched as obi-wan fell, being shot at. a whimper escaped your throat as you watched your father figure fall to his death. what was happening?
darkness took over, covering your eyes. the last thing on your mind being the utter betrayal by the one you loved the most.
———
white. that was the first thing you saw. it was bright, blinding, and you had a hard time adjusting to it. you sat up, but was quickly reminded of precious events. your abdomen exploded with pain, and your chest heaved with every breath. please tell me i’m dreaming.
the door opened and in came in a medic. you stared at the medic, watching her every movement.
“what happened?” you demanded. your voice was firm and you didn’t care if you sounded mean. you were almost killed.
“i’m told not to tell you,” she spoke quietly and the irritation bubbled to the surface.
“i don’t care what anyone else says, what happened?” you demanded again. tears pricked your eyes and as the world came further to, you knew you were on coruscant. before the medic could answer, the doors opened again. your eyes flicked to see obi-wan kenobi walk through the doors.
“i’ve got it,” he nodded towards the medic, who seemed glad to leave you alone. he sat with you on the bed, his own expression sullen. your eyes were wide with a sorrowful curiosity.
“obi-wan, please, what happened?” you whispered, begging him to tell you.
“when the clones were still developing, there were chips implanted into the clones’ brains. these chips had different functions, one of them was an order called order 66, an order to kill all of the jedi,” he started, feeling the weight of it all, “we executed palpatine, managed to rescue as many jedi as we could, and…” he trailed off, his brow creasing, “and i managed to pull my padawan from the grip of the dark side,” he told you. your eyes went wide with the realization that anakin was going to turn to the dark side. the boy you considered a best friend. at least he was ok.
“are…are the clones alright?” you dared to ask. how ready were you for that answer, though?
“physically they’re fine, but the guilt over what they’ve done is unbearable,” he told you. obi-wan knew of your attachment to cody and in this moment, he didn’t care about the code. he didn’t care about following the rules to the books. he knew that you’d want to see him, but also he felt the conflict in you. he almost killed you, yet that love for him was so strong. it was persisting.
“i need air,” you breathed. he protested, but you ignored him. everything was too much, it was so heavy. the clones, from the beginning, were programmed? to kill? you wanted to go back to when you and cody would find the small moments to have dinner together, or when you’d read together, or even when you’d share moments of soft touches together. you couldn’t get those back, could you? tears streamed down your face, mourning what you had. you looked up, and your eyes fell on a familiar face.
“cody,” you breathed. he was in his blacks, but you felt the turmoil within him. he was in pain, so much pain. he almost killed you, for a second he thought he did.
“no,” he stepped back. he knew what he did, he knew what his own hands did. he never laid a hand on you prior to this order 66 ordeal, but now having almost taken your life, the love of his life, he couldn’t even look you in the eyes. he was gripping with the fact that he was just an object to the chancellor. he was used, he was programmed to be a killer. how was he supposed to feel?
“cody, love,” you whispered. you expected him to run, but he didn’t. cody didn’t run, and that wasn’t in his programming. that was his personality. the hallway was relatively empty, but you didn’t care. your heart ached at the sight of him, but it wasn’t his fault. none of it was. he needed to know that.
“it’s not your fault,” you told him, approaching him. you saw the tears brim his eyes. he never cried, and watching him on the verge of it broke you. you swallowed the lump in your throat as you walked up to him.
“i…” he couldn’t even form a sentence. he couldn’t even look at you. his eyes were towards the floor, but when he felt your hand on his face, he lifted his eyes to yours. such kindness and forgiveness swam in them, and he broke. he wrapped his arms around you, burying his face in the crook of your neck, letting his tears fall. tears that held anger, resentment, pain, guilt. his emotions all in water from his eyes.
“it’s not your fault,” you kept whispering to him as you cradled his head, feeling his grief, his sorrow. you stood there with him, taking part in his pain and his guilt. you’d stand there forever as long as he knew you weren’t angry with him. that you were ok. that it was never his fault. as you kept telling him that, cody felt himself slowly start to believe that. maybe, just maybe, it wasn’t his fault.

STAR WARS MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
Fear.
Fear had filled your veins with ice and had long since made its course throughout your bloodstream ten times over. Shock and plain confusion chased after it, hanging on its coattails as you stood outside of the medical clinic with eyes looking blindly.
As soon as the MD had spoken the words, it felt as if you’d shut down. They echoed in your ears, repeating over and over like a broken holorecord, and your body moved on its own. As you gave your signature at the end of the appointment, fingers swiping over the holopad screen with no intention, the words were deafening in their volume. As you walked down the corridor to leave, the nerves in your face buzzed in tune with the deep baritone of them. As you crossed the threshold of the building to the outside world, it almost felt like you were going to explode.
The hustle and bustle of the Coruscant streets and skies broke it.
Noise, life, had broken through the big thoughts and their big weight and it felt like air was entering your lungs once again. Eyes clearer, head quieter, you were still heavy as a breeze caressed your exposed arms.
Pregnant.
It was not like in the dramas that came on late night holonet, not romanticized and not attainable for the average person.
Well, that wasn’t the truth. You were not the average person, for they could and very well do have that moment; but not you. You had been one of the many people to go against the grain and actually fall in love with one of the Republic’s own soldiers.
Pregnant and alone. The breeze felt nice, you swayed on your feet to the lull as you gathered your senses again.
He would be back. When, you did not know, but he would. He always came back, always came home, but those moments in between were the hardest. When your home was empty save for you, when your bed was too big because someone was missing, when things got hard and you were on your own.
But he would be back. Commander Wolffe was a lot of things, but a liar was most certainly not one of them.
A father, however? You couldn’t say.
Your feet moved, walking down the sidewalk in the direction of your apartment with thoughts still reeling. He was timid, to be approached with caution, but he was a lover. You were possibly the only person in the galaxy who could truthfully say that, but it was something you really believed. He loved you, with everything he had to give, and he showed it by trying. He stepped out of his comfort zone, he learned, he grew, he listened. A man like Wolffe wouldn’t do anything half assed, and he wouldn’t give anything his full effort if it didn’t deserve it, and that’s how you knew your relationship would work.
It did work. Beautifully, as a matter of fact—you moved and lived as if you were made to be together, and perhaps you were. It felt like you were.
If it worked so well, then why were you so afraid?
To be alone was frightening. You were not really alone, he was out there somewhere; but he was not here. To not know what to do was frightening. You loved Wolffe with your whole heart and vice versa, but did he want a baby? Did he want to be a father, to bear the weight and responsibility parenthood brings? Did he want to be with you that way, tied together forever by another human, half of you both? It was a fear induced by the unknown of it all, the unfamiliarity of the path and the lack of support almost paralyzing.
It was also a fear of startling him.
He tried so hard, and you were so thankful, but it had taken so long. So, so long for him to open up, to freely breathe and speak. To trust you, Wolffe had needed time and that is what you gave him. Would this revelation rock that trust, undo that time and send him on his way? Would he cut the ties you had formed before he got in too deep?
Lightheaded. You took a deep breath, leaning against the wall beside you for a moment. Calm down, you told yourself. Panicking in the streets of the city wouldn’t give you the answers you needed, wouldn’t lessen the stress and worry tearing at every nerve in your body. It wouldn’t help, so it was not worth it. That’s what Wolffe would say, to clear his head—focus on the objective, and all things pertaining to it.
The walk home was neither long nor short, for your head was in the clouds again. You were present, but not entirely. People moved around you, and you paid them no mind, their conversations blending together as background noise while your thoughts attempted to order themselves. Your home is empty when you return, and though it wasn’t a surprise it still made tears prickle your eyes.
The dam was breaking. Hairline fractures were forming in the foundation that was holding you together, and seeing your apartment, your home together, empty and dark and without a trace of him almost released the flood. Breathing grew increasingly more difficult once again, and thoughts of reaching out just to be met with the void that was his absence only made it worse. You had to stop. You had to calm down, you had to try.
So you tried. You tried.
Wolffe hadn’t answered when you commed him, but you half expected that. You had forced him to turn on the message box and were glad he had listened. You drew in a deep breath before you began speaking, hoping to sound as normal as possible. “Hey, hope you’re doing okay. When you get a chance, could you give me a call? There’s…something big I need to talk to you about,” you trailed off, barely holding it together. You sniffled, and wiped your nose, snapping back. “Alright, love you, bye.”
You had failed. It was obvious something was wrong, your voice was shaky and weak and had even broken when you spoke your farewells. He always picked up on even the slightest shift in your composure, and you knew that your message read loud and clear that you were not okay. Worry crept in, worry that you would worry him while he was away, and guilt followed soon after. Your feelings were strong, and they were all over the place, and after you had done all you could in the moment you let yourself feel them.
You fell apart, and you knew that when he called back you’d do your best to pick up the pieces so you could figure it out.
-: ✧
Three weeks.
Three long weeks of sickness, mood swings, and sleepless nights.
Three long weeks with no call from Wolffe.
You were not there when he landed on Coruscant, when the troops that were successful in their endeavors returned, and that worried him. Surely you would have caught wind of their arrival, you were not the only one to have a lover, a friend, someone special in the army. Why had you not shown up?
He told himself not to be so stupid. Of course you hadn’t come. You had called him, had needed to tell him something with that broken voice and he had ignored it.
After returning from just another stint out in the midst of war, fear crept up on him like a monster in the shadows rearing its ugly head. It followed him all the way home, all the way up to the floor the apartment was on, and right through the front door.
You were there. You had to have been, for his home looked as lived in as ever. Relief, sweet and almost overwhelming, rushed over him. It pushed him through the doorway and into the living room, but he did not see you. “Cyare?” he called, setting his helmet down on the table closest to him. He heard the door to the fresher slide open, and only a few seconds later you emerged from around the corner.
His heart, as guarded as it was, belonged to you; and it broke when he caught sight of the state of you. Eyes puffy and red, tear stained cheeks and cracked lips, hair tangled and messy. Wrinkled and sweat stained clothes cover your slightly trembling body as you wipe your face upon seeing him.
He’s worried. You’re worried. You’re both tired. You’re both sweaty and exhausted, and scared out of your minds.
“Cyare, what’s wrong? Are you okay?”
“Did you not get my message?” you question instead, and your voice is gravelly and quiet. The lack of the usual melody that was you was like a stab wound to the chest.
He didn’t know what to say at first, because he knew saying the answer out loud wouldn’t make you feel any better, so he grunted in response. But your face never changed, still stony and devastating and he knew he had to say it. “I—” he started, but seemed to choke on the words and had to take a deep breath. “I was going to call back, but I…got afraid.”
Oh no. Dread, once again, weighed heavy on you as it showered down your body, trickling slowly and touching every part of you. “Afraid?” you wheezed through heavy breaths.
“Of…of what it was you wanted to talk about. I—” he shook his head. “I was afraid you had met someone else, that you were gonna pack up your things and take off while I was gone and I just…couldn’t.”
You stared at him. Long and hard, your eyes didn’t leave him. While you were stewing, killing yourself with fear and worry, so was he. You could have laughed, as cruel a joke it was.
“Wolffe,” you whispered, tears returning once again. “Wolffe, I’m pregnant.”
It was then his turn to stare, to not say anything as your words hit him. He was never an open book, but he was giving nothing with the blank look on his face and it hurt. Waiting all this time had hurt, waiting for him to react hurt.
“Please,” you begged, “say something.”
“You…you’ve been pregnant for well over three weeks,” he whispered, pain causing a quiver in his words. “And I didn’t even know. I wasn’t even here.”
Guilt, as potent and as painful as ever, drenched his words and covered his face. The urge to ease said guilt was immediate, body acting on its own as your hand reached out for him. “Wolffe—”
“Y/N,” he interrupted, pushing your hand away as he turned, refusing to even look at you. It hurt, it hurt so bad you didn’t even know how you were still standing, and yet you were. Standing there, eyes full of tears staring at the back of his head as he reached up and roughly swiped a hand down his face. “Y/N, I am…I am so sorry,” he took a deep, shuddering breath. “I am so sorry that I wasn’t more careful, because you deserve more than this.”
“No,” you shot out immediately. “Don’t—don’t talk like that,” you gasped out. You were crying, you were yelling, you were terrified. “I have been scared out of my mind this whole time, Wolffe! The entire time I was worrying myself to an early grave, and I was alone! And—and I did it because I fucking love you!”
He was looking at you now, arms down by his side and lips pursed. You didn’t stop to wonder what he was thinking about, the words leaving you in a loud ramble that had been stifled for far too long. This confession had been bottled up too tightly through the fear of it all, and now the top was blowing off.
“Do you really think I would be here alone if I didn’t love you? If I didn’t want you?” Your face was scrunched up, emotion having you in a vice grip as he listened. “Wolffe, do you think I haven’t thought about what this means? I’ve had three weeks to think about what I’m gonna have to do when you’re gone, three whole weeks to worry about it all! So don’t you dare,” you pointed a finger at him, taking a step closer, “come home and talk to me like you’re backing out for my sake.”
“Y/N—” he rasped your name softly, but you didn’t give him the chance to say anything more. You weren’t done, and you knew if you stopped those words would never be spoken, so you pushed on through. Your throat raw, words rough and jumbled together, you continued.
“I am so fucking scared,” you whispered, shoulders shaking as sobs managed to sneak through your words, “that you are going to leave me. But you do not get to blame it on me, shove that weight onto me to make it easier for you.”
“Y/N, it’s not like that,” he shook his head. “But you know me. I was made for one thing, and no child should have to deal with that thing.” He reached out, grabbing your hands and holding them tightly. “I can’t give you the life that you both deserve, I can’t be that man that’s good enough for this.”
The words you whispered brought tears to his eyes, broke down every wall the soldier had ever built in his entire life. “You’re the only man I know that’s good enough for our lives.”
Lives.
Plural, more than one.
You were not just you anymore. It was you and baby, connected in the most personal way. It was the first time you’d said anything like that out loud, actually brought it into the open to be heard.
“Knowing that you are who you are is what makes it worth it,” you continued, pulling one hand out of his grasp to instead place it on his cheek; a gesture made in the very name of tenderness, for you were no longer angry nor yelling. You were confessing, pouring out heart and soul to the only person you trusted. “Wolffe, you are the best man I know. You are not a liar, you are not a quitter, and you are not a coward. You are loyal, you are brave, and you are a lover. Part…part of what got me through these last few weeks was the fact that I never doubted you’d come home, because you told me you’d always come home. I believed you, and I haven’t had a reason not to ever since.”
Your hand slid from his cheek down to the side of his neck, eyes dropping for a moment. “I—I thought you might walk away, at least a part of me did. That you’d come back like you said, find out and get scared off,” your words got thicker, harder to get out as you began to cry again. “You have tried so hard for me, and you have done so amazing, Wolffe, I promise, but I thought this would be too much. That…that you’d cut me off before you got in too deep, and I’m so sorry to doubt you like that,” you shook your head at the look on his face.
“C—Cyare,” he gasped out, choking on a sob that was never meant to show itself. “I am so sorry that you were alone, and afraid, because of me. You,” he grabbed your face with both hands, cradling you gently as he looked at you with all the fear, love, and pain only a man who was in it for the long run could experience, “you are only light in this galaxy that matters, and it has scared me every day since I met you. But I don’t think there's a force out there that could make me walk away from you, because I am yours. If—if loving you means that I am a lover then you’re right, because I love you, Y/N, with everything I have. I will always come home, and I will never quit fighting for the life that you deserve…that you both deserve.” He cleared his throat, lowering his head for a moment before he looked at you again.
“The Kaminoans never taught us what love was, we weren’t supposed to know that emotion, but I have learned it. From my brothers, General Plo, and you, Cyare; and to me, love is being afraid and doing it anyway. Love is easy and not all at the same time, and that’s how it’s meant to be. If I walked away from you after this, then that means I haven’t learned a kriffing thing.”
It had been scary. It had been tough. It had been emotional.
But it had been worth it. Waiting had been worth it. Wolffe had been worth it. You loved him more than life itself, and now you knew that he felt the same. Together, through the fear of it all, you would love your baby.

IMAGINE…
BEING A JEDI SURVIVING ORDER 66 AND REUNITING WITH HUNTER PT. 1
Notes: HAPPY BAD BATCH EVE! I’m excited to share this piece with you guys and don’t worry...the next one will be out before you know it! Enjoy!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Surviving a war was one thing. Surviving order 66 was another.
The clone wars was over, and the Jedi were accused of treason. Everything that has happened seemed unreal. Everything was gone in a blink of an eye. The Jedi, the Republic, everything. The clones had turned on you and you had barely come out of it alive, but you did come out of it. But why? How could they after everything they’ve been through. However that didn’t matter. Getting to Cid’s in one piece was what mattered.
Cid the informant. From what you could remember about the Trandoshan, she was a tipster for the Jedi before the massacre. That and she resided on Ord Mantell, or at least, the most seedy part of the planet anyways.
With nowhere to go and hide from the ever-growing power of the Empire, Cid was the next best bet.
It was dangerous times, and in times like these, and all your instincts told you to keep your head down and out of trouble. And that’s what you did. Traveling from shuttle to shuttle for the last few weeks, you were on edge. As you watched the glistening light-speed of hyperspace from your seat, you were keeping a low profile until you reached Ord Mantell. The crowded ships filled with noisy passengers were starting to feel overwhelming. It also didn’t help that clones were checking every passenger with chain-codes and soon, they were coming your way.
Pulling your hood down to cover your face and your other hand placed on your saber underneath your cloak, you were filled with a quick panic that instantly passed as soon as the soldier did. Releasing a sigh of relief, you leaned your head against the window. With closed eyes, you could feel the saber under your hood. The comfort of something familiar easing you into solace.
It was all you had left. Your only ally and the only person you could count on: Yourself.
However, it wasn’t always like that. While the war was nothing but an endless battle of clankers, you had Clone Force 99. Occasionally you would spend an amount of time with the clones. Trouble followed them around like a smell and they had a uniqueness unlike anything you’ve ever seen. They were quite the team of individuals, but while you did miss them wholeheartedly, there was one that made you longing to see the most. Hunter.
He was a strong and stoic leader. But while all that was true, that’s not what made him a great leader. It wasn’t even his extraordinarily keen senses that did it either. It was his strong sense of morality. He had no hesitation to do the right thing. Whether with his brothers or to the reg commanders, he stands by his morals every time. It’s what you admired the most about him.
And with that time with them, you got to know the clone the most. The way you knew that every time he closed his eyes, he was slowly taking in all the senses that bugged him. To even the catching the rarest smiles from him when you talked. A wistful smile came, the memories heartening as you remembered.
Even out of sight, he was still on your mind.
With a heavy heart, you had shake your head of those thoughts. Even if it was the good old times, they were nothing but the past now. Your only thought? To make it to Cid’s and hopefully, start a new life for yourself away from the Empire. As you pulled out of hyperspace to the planet of Ord Mantell, it perked your attention with a hopeful smile. Sighing, you leaned back into your seat with only one thought in mind as you soon landed.
I wonder where Hunter is right now?
***********
In Cid’s cantina, everyone was occupied.
Omega and Wrecker were smiling ear to ear as they munched on their mantell mix after another successful mission. While Tech was with Echo at the bar, talking about repairs that needed to be done to the ship over drinks. Even Hunter, who sat on the other end of the bar, with a drink in hand as he took casual sips. In spit of that, he had other things on his mind. More specifically, you.
When he heard about the Jedi being wiped out, his only concern was you.
Were you hurt? Were you in danger? Are you even alive? And if you were, where are you? His thoughts were engulfed with negative thoughts about you.
All these thoughts made him down the hatch before wiping off the liquid from his mouth with his backhand. It’s not like he wanted to find you, he did. But with Crosshairs betrayal and being on the run, he couldn’t risk his team for something he wanted. Even if it meant betraying his heart for the sake of the team. Hunter just couldn’t.
So he buried those feelings deep enough to forget for a time, but not forever. At least, until he heard a familiar voice that shook him to his core.
“Hunter?”

It's not your fault | Captain Rex x jedi!reader
Summary: After a mission gone wrong, you don't feel so good.
Warnings: angst, sort of comfort i guess? Weird ending
So, this is a short and quick story, just to test the waters xD. I hope you still enjoy!
Tumblr media
The quiet humming of the mechanics and the subtle light of hyperspace have always been extremely comforting.
As you sat in your designated seat, right next to the pilots one, you closed your eyes, took a deep breath and just enjoyed the moment.
At least you tried to.
That mission was more than complicated. It has been exhausting. It took every last bit of physical and mental strengh you had left.
You had lost more men then initially thought and that broke you. You promised  you'd watch out for them. You promised to keep them safe.
But you didn't, you couldn't.
You were needed everywhere at once, of course you couldnt split yourself into two.
But you should have been there. You should have fought with them.
Even if it wasnt possible for you to be at two fronts at the same time, it still felt like you failed the group of soldiers that gave their life while defending the planet. Without you by their side.
You failed them.
You let them die. Alone.
You were their general.
It was all your fault.
All those lives lost.
All because of your inability to stop the enemy from spreading to another front.
As you spiralled further into your distructive thoughts, the door to the cockpit opened with a whoosh.
Still stuck in your mind, you didnt notice the noise nor the presence of the other person joining you.
A hand came to your shoulder, gently squeezing it. The unexpected contact made you jump a little in your seat, but as you slowly came back to reality, you could immediately sense who was at your side.
You hesitated a moment before you turned around with a slight smile.
"Rex. What are you doing here?"
"I'm sorry, General. I did not want to intrude nor scare you. You didnt react at first. I just wanted to come check on you. This mission was...well...hard, i guess."
"It's okay, dont worry. I'm fine. Thank you", you said with a soft, but still forced smile.
The Captain opened his mouth to say something, but then stopped himself, staring at you with careful eyes.
"With all due respect General, but i do not need to be a jedi to know that you are not 'fine'."
The moment those words left his lips, you turned away. You could not bare to look at him. What were you supposed to say?
You are a jedi, you should not show weakness, especially not infront of the men you lead into battle.
"General?"
"I'm sorry, lost in my thoughts." You turned around again to face him, but avoiding his eyes.
"No need to apologise. But as i said, you do not look fine. I just...I..."
Even without looking at him, you could feel his gaze on you. Kind of like he was searching your eyes, begging you to look at him.
Suddenly, a wave of annoyance washed over you. If he didnt know what to say, why was he here? Why did he bother you in your comfortable moment of self-pity?
"Captain, if you do not have anything more to say, i would be very thankful if you left."
You widened your eyes in suprise. This came out harsher then intended.
You cursed yourself internally.
It was not his fault. Nothing that happend had been his fault. Why were you snapping at him?
Now you felt even worse.
"I-...I'm sorry Rex. I didn't mean to snap at you...I just-"
"It's okay General. If my presence is unwanted, i will not bother you any further. I apologise for my intrusion."
As you lifted your head to look at the Captain again, he bowed his head a little, then turned around towards the door.
As he pressed the button to open it, he hesitated a little.
He turned is head slightly towards you, but not looking at you.
"You know...what i wanted to say is....its not your fault."
And with that, he left.

Waves
anakin skywalker x reader (sort of)
ahsoka x reader (sort of)
summary: After a hard battle, It’s left to you to carry a message to two Jedi from your past
a/n: this is sort of a character study of the protagonist - you! it’s also kind of a prologue to a series that will be anakin x reader - more details to come! based off of Dean Lewis’ ‘Waves’.
note: please know that i actually don’t know almost anything about star
warnings: angst, briefs descriptions of canon-typical violence, technically minor character death, mourning, non-canon compliant
There will come a time in your life when you will need to let go, when the galaxy stops shifting and the ground under your feet liquifies, it’s your duty to continue to protect. Continue to serve.
This is what the code tells us.
This is what your Master would always tell you.  He always was referring to the loss of civilians, the failure of a mission that could have succeeded. You never thought it would apply to losing him.
You arrived at the temple older than most younglings — five years old, feisty and strong, very strong in the ways of the Jedi already.  Back home on Onapesca, The Force was used peacefully, the ways taught to their young. You, however had been unfittingly volatile with your abilities, and so, the Jedi found you.
With already advanced training, it only took you four years to become eligible to have a master, and were taken on quickly by Master Bosque, a human such as yourself, one of the only Sentinels left in the order.
From the age of nine on, you and Bosque had been attached at the waist.
Even after becoming a knight, you went on missions and outreaches frequently with him, even becoming a Sentinel such as him, although your affinity had always been split between healing, The Force itself and your notable technique for sabers, as demonstrated by the three beads that used to hang on your braid.
His death came to you like an abrupt ending you always knew would come but never thought it would.
“Master?”
The young Togruta Padawan interrupts you melancholy reflection, using the title that’s almost yours.
“My apologies, young one,” you say properly. “I got caught up in my thoughts.”
Ahsoka is her name, and she’s as bright eyed and bushy tailed as you can be, going into an active war zone as a fourteen-year-old. Her braid is strung with a yellow bead — proficiency with that saber she wields. You can feel her desperation to prove herself wafting through the air, and, if you focus hard enough, it comes in waves, ripples in the air. Her energy reminds you of someone you haven’t spoken to in so long…
“You’re okay, Master L/n. I’m just wondering if you know my new master.”
Her new master?
“Obi-Wan and I are close, yes.”
“Not Master Kenobi, Master Skywalker!”
Your breath leaves you and doesn’t do you the favor of coming back. Anakin with a Padawan? That would not end well, especially with what you’ve heard about his… unique combat tactics. Of course, you haven’t seen him since right after your Knighting ceremony.
But he’s been plaguing your thoughts since after the Siege of Cassiopeia, the prospect of his return to your life, along with Obi-Wan’s a mixture of bittersweet emotions, of feelings that you don’t know if they will stay covered.
“Anakin? I didn’t know he was taking a Padawan.”
Ahsoka shrugs, sharp incisors gleaming.
“He’s getting one whether he likes it or not.”
Whether he likes it or not, is for sure.
“Yes, I know him. We grew up together, trained together since both of us were young Padawans with young Masters.” you pause, trying to formulate an unbiased explanation of Anakin, whose very presence always seems to affect you in the worst ways. “He’s… hard to capture in words, I would say. But… He’s awfully skilled in mechanics and piloting, with his blade, of course, as well. Hard headed, stubborn, irritating, but he’s also funny, and caring and… the most loyal person you will ever meet. Protective, too.”
“He sounds great.”
You refrain from agreeing with her. He is great. He’s just a difficult topic for you to broach right now. Ahsoka keeps darting her eyes at you, then back to her holopad.
“Was there something else, Ahsoka?”
“I’m really sorry about Master Bosque, Master L/n.”
Even just his name knocks it out of you. Everything seems to leave you breathless and gasping for the past you can never return to. You feel your vocal chords tighten.
No attachment.
“Thank you.”
There’s not much to say about it, at least not to her. You ache to tell someone how you feel, but it seems that a Padawan whom you just met may not be the best choice.
You grip your lightsabers and close your eyes, searching for a semblance of your Master, a sign, any sign that he’s watching over this journey, that he’s helping to better the tasks ahead.
(he’s missing from The Force, just like he is from your life, unjustly gone from the world that still needs him)
(you still need him)
In the village where you grew, you were taught to respect the Living Force. Your mother, your family, and the population who helped to raise you, the daughter of an important someone or other, had always taught you that the spirits of the lost would always be with you, and that you had a unique gift: you could not only sense the spirits, you could call them, channel them. Later, within your training as a Jedi, you learned that the spirits you once knew were actually The Force, and that the sense you’d had for them was an understanding most grown Jedi strived to reach.
You feel no such spirits upon entry to Christophsis.
It’s almost a vacuum of the Living Force, such a characteristic is becoming increasingly common in the war.
The Force beacons to the two Jedi on the planet, where your destination must be. You close your eyes, reaching out to Anakin, looking for the link you used to have, looking for his distinct signal. Like his unique radio frequency, he sends ripples through The Force, the layer under reality that you have the ability to sense. Not quite through The Force, halfway between the realms.
He’s there, alright.
The link that you have suppressed for so many cycles pulses in the back of your mind like an old memory, which you suppose it is.
You must prepare yourself for the confrontation that awaits.
The front is impossible to break, not without reinforcements, not with the limited resources that are steadily depleting.
Anakin believes that with a little assistance from the Council, they can power through and break the line, though, as sore as it is to admit it, continuing his tactics might have the very very very slight possibility of failing.
Maybe.
Rex can’t know that he has his doubts, though, because Anakin knows that Rex is counting on him. And Obi-Wan.
Definitely Obi-Wan.
The end of the latest battle heralds another sore reminders of the lack of supplies and dashed team spirit, even for a victory.
Something’s off. It’s a feeling that started at the end of the aforementioned battle, a stirring in the back of his mind, a feeling that feels familiar, something he hasn’t felt in a long time.
“Sent reinforcements, we have,” Yoda tells him and Obi-Wan. “Bothering you, is something, Skywalker?”
Anakin clears his throat.
“No, Master Yoda. Everything-“
The hologram cuts out before he even finishes his excuse for distraction. Obi-Wan and Rex are both staring at him. What do they want? What do they have to say?
“Anakin,” Obi-Wan starts. Anakin squeezes his eyes shut. The feeling surges. What is this? Why does he feel it now, after years of trying to reach out, why is this coming back to haunt him now?
“She’s coming, isn’t she?” He demands, somewhat belligerently, feeling like a petulant child, whining to his master. “You feel it, right? Did you know?”
“Anakin, I’m as surprised as you are. As far as I knew, she was still on Cassiopeia carrying out covert operations.” Obi-Wan shakes his head, leaning on the podium. Anakin turns to Rex, hoping he’d heard from his best friend, Y/n’s clone commander.
“Don’t look at me, General, I haven’t heard from Jex since the radios went dead. He told me they were headed back to Coruscant.”
Anakin rubs his eyes, feeling the storm brewing.
This girl.
It’s almost comical, the expression on both Skywalker and Kenobi’s faces, their confusion when they meet the whirlwind that is Ahsoka Tano. It’s fine, they’ll adjust, she’s a perfect little version of Anakin, (She kind of reminds you of yourself, if you’re being honest) and even if he doesn’t see it, she’s the best Padawan he could have gotten.
You step away from the conversation, getting a report from one of the Clones in blue - Hach. The situation doesn’t sound good.
you’ll see what Rex has to say about battle strategy, but you have a pretty good idea of what the next step is.
“Why don’t you take Ahsoka to go observe. Get her familiarized with the ground.”
“Who, the youngling?”
“Padawan!”
And so, the three Jedi are left alone, and you finally get a chance to look at them, see how they’ve changed. Obi-Wan, bless his soul, is virtually unchanged, the only difference is his armor. Anakin, however…
You haven’t seen him since recently after the both of you were Knighted, since the night of the huge argument. His hair is longer, his face rougher, a short scar marked over his right eye. His mechanical hand, one of his many impressive feats of engineering, is scratched up and dulled after many battles. His blue eyes search you, probably trying to gauge the same thing that you are— if you’re still angry.
You’re not, if anyone was wondering. Your anger has strictly faded into a cold feeling of indifference— or that might be the layers of suppression that result from years and years of denying what actually happened that night.
“Y/n, my dear, It’s been quite a while,” Obi-Wan says, warm smile flitting onto his face.
“It has, Master Kenobi. Strange how the time goes.”
Anakin nods at you. Obi wan elbows him. “Ow!” He rubs the back of his neck. “You cut your hair.”
You smack your lips awkwardly.
“Well,” Obi wan breaks the uncomfortable silence, already stepping away. “I must go speak with the troops. Anakin, why don’t you update Y/n on the status of the battle.”
You thank The Force for granting you this momentary reprieve from the heartbreaking news you carry, but it comes with the price of painstakingly awkward conversation with Skywalker.
He’s brash and direct, just like you remember him, updating you on the latest supply shortage, the power outages, the horrors of this war, appearing around every corner.
“I didn’t know you were off of Cassiopeia. I thought the Siege was still in effect,” He admits. You shake your head, remembering what you need to tell him.
“We went radio silent during the last stages of the Siege, which reminds me,” you snap your comm out of its slot on your gauntlet. “Can you tune me to your frequency?”
He tilts his head, grinning slyly.
“Four years and you still haven’t learned how to program a comm?”
“Jex is a mechanic, Skywalker,” You drop the comm into his black- gloves hand. “And for your information, I know how to do it, I just …prefer not to.”
“Oh, I’m sure, and I wasted all that time on Naboo teaching you how to program them, just for you to mooch off poor Jex.”
“No one’s mooching anything! Jex is happy to help me!”
“Oh, I’m sure.”
“What that supposed to-“
You’re cut off by the beeping from both of your comms, meaning Rex’s found something, probably something that’s just going to heighten the risks of the upcoming battle.
Is there a tactical advantage to sending Ahsoka, the smallest of you all, to sneak past the force field? Sure, yes. Does it pleasure you to torment Anakin with his new spitfire padawan? Of fucking course.
So the two bickering Jedi set off to set charges  on the barrier, leaving you with Kenobi and Rex.
“What’s the plan, Generals?” The clone asks. You glance at Obi-Wan.
“Whaddya say, old man? the old fashioned surrender?”
He sighs.
“Y/n, I resent it when you call me that, but… yes. The old fashioned surrender should give them enough time.”
You grin.
“Sounds like a plan.”
The downside of a plan going, well, according to plan, is that you have no more time to speak to anakin and Master Kenobi about what will happen upon return to shore leave on Coruscant.
It’s late, Ahsoka has retired to her quarters on the Resolute, leaving only the three senior Jedi in the common area, reflecting and writing reports of the events on Christophsis. You take in a deep breath, steeling yourself.
“Master Kenobi, Skywalker,” You address them formally, trying to stay detached. “I’m afraid I haven’t been completely… honest about the events of the final battle for Cassiopeia.”
Both Jedi fixate on you, concern evident on their battle-worn faces.
“I didn’t want to distract you before going into combat, and perhaps I was sparing myself the grief of reliving it… but… on Cassiopeia, I was captured.” Better to start off with the beginning of the story. “It was part of the plan, but the tactics of the Separatists were even more convoluted than what any of us could have imagined, so, Master Bosque saw the plan’s acceleration.” You take a deep breath. “It was… sloppy, it was tragic. We lost everyone on the mission, except myself… and Jex.” You pause, to recuperate yourself, to keep your voice from cracking, but it grows think in your throat. “Bosque was killed. I’m sorry. I know how much he meant to both of you.”
You breathe shakily. Kenobi seems frozen, paralyzed by grief. His oldest friend, gone at the hands of this war. Skywalker’s blue eyes have hardened, his mouth turned down. Bosque helped Kenobi train him, as well. He was to Anakin what Kenobi is to you.
“Upon our return to Coruscant for shore leave, there will be a ceremony, commemorating Bosque, followed by my induction to the Order of Mastery.”
Anakin recoils at this. You know how much he wishes to become a Master.
Deafening silence, the millings about of Clones.
“I should- I want you, Master Kenobi, to conduct the ceremony as my honorary Post- Master. And- and I knew you would want to see him. One last time.”
You hold your breath, partly in suspense, mostly to keep from breaking out in sobs. You have not wept for him. You will not.
You will not.
But these two— if anyone could make you cry for the Master you wish was still here, they could.
So you leave.
You leave them to their grief.
A coward’s move, yes.
But you are a coward.
And you go to your quarters and try to sleep, trying desperately to not feel, not because it’s what the order requires, but because it just hurts too much to feel anymore.

🤍 Nurse of the 501st — Preface
Pairing: Captain Rex x FemaleNurse!Reader (ft. the 501st) Word Count: 4.1k T/W: fluffy ☁️A/N: happy 5/01 day and welcome to a little series I’ll be updating every now and then! All parts will be able to be read solo or together!
Reader is assigned to the 501st as their main nurse; already knowing Kix she’s welcomed into the group pretty easily. Still intimidated about meeting Rex, the boys try and make her feel more at ease in her new situation, which helps once she learns Rex isn’t as scary as she thought he’d be.

“Remember, they are your team, your family, and your friends,” Jedi Master Rig Nema told you in the elevator.
“Do I have to leave the hospital wing so soon?” you asked, shoulders slumped as you stared o the elevator floor.
“So soon?” Master Nema gave a silvery laugh, “it’s been years, and Kix asked for your transfer personally, which means they need more medical help. You’ll be doing a great service to many people.”
Taking a deep breath you nodded, meeting her eyes, “I know, Kix has been a great friend to me, I’m honoured that he’d request me, but…I just don’t know if I’ll fit in with them; I’m not a soldier, I’m not a hero, I’m not even a Jedi.”
“You don’t need to be,” Master Nema set a hand on your shoulder maternally, dipping down to talk to you as her species was much taller than the average human, “you just need to let them know that you are there to help in any way you can, respect and experience will get you far with Captain Rex.”
She encouraged a nod out of you, but you were still anxious, sad, and scared all at the same time, had you been a Jedi you knew you’d be scolded for it, but you weren’t so you felt every emotion as it hit you. You’d never been on a trooper cruiser, you’d never been in action, you’d never been off Coruscant, the whole experience was overwhelming. Everyone on board seemed to have a routine and you had no idea where you fit in. While you were looking around the hallway, trying to get a glimpse of open doorways, Master Nema repressed a chuckle at your childlike curiosity.
“Ah, Master Nema,” you straightened up and snapped your gaze forward at hearing the familiar voice.
A smile broke out across your face, “Kix!”
He greeted you with a wave as you approached, “always good to see you, Master.”
“Likewise, Kix,” Master Nema bowed, “I am honoured that you requested my…student.”
The pause stung, you knew what she wanted to say and you knew what you had wanted to hear. Padawan. It was something forever out of your reach. As much as you tried to push past the fact that you were now far too old to even be considered a Padawan, it was something you forever wanted.
“Well, I only wanted the best,” Kix tilted his head to subtly wink at you. It made you smile, Kix went through medical training with you, and even though his program was accelerated and he was sent off to the 501st, he still kept in contact with you, which you greatly appreciated.
“And the best you shall have,” Master Nema put a hand on your back, softly pushing you forward, “I know she will do great things.”
Now standing beside Kix, the sense of anxiety returned.
“I cannot stay long, and I understand you will be underway soon,” Master Nema stated, noting your furrowed brows, “I will always be in contact should you need me, but I have every faith you will be just fine.” Kix shifted, knowing that she was largely talking to you, but trying to avoid attachment at the same time. Sharing one last glance she nodded to you, “Goodbye,” Master Nema bowed to you respectfully, “and may the force be with you.”
You wanted to call out saying ‘Master, wait,’ but you never earned the privilege to call her such, all you could manage was, “and with you,” bowing likewise and watching her head for the elevator to take her back to the hangar floor. She’d be back at the Jedi temple and you’d be off somewhere unknown to you. It felt like your heart had lost a piece.
“It’s really great to see you again,” Kix suddenly spoke, snapping you out of your gaze.
“Oh, yeah, you too Kix,” you stumbled, trying not to show your teary eyes.
Kix noticed you swiftly lift your hand to wipe away some tears, but opted not to say anything, knowing we all deal with sadness in our own way, instead he offered some words that would cheer you up, “you’re not alone,” he placed a gentle hand to the top of your shoulder and gave you a most sincerely look, “follow me, I’ve got plenty of brothers I want you to meet.”
Nodding, you put on a smile and followed him a little way down the corridor until it opened up into a large common room. There were clones everywhere; it made you smile at how unique they all looked. It was so different from some of the reports that made them all sound the same. Tattoos, scars, haircuts, and armour modifications made practically all of them identifiable from each other. You took in the room, seeing a dartboard on the side of the wall with a group playing. “You couldn’t even hit a clanker if it was three feet in front of you,” one teased another who was losing at the game, “how on earth have you managed to survive this war?”
On the other side of the room, you saw one with his nose in a book and a handprint on his armour, while another with a 5 tattooed was trying to talk to him. Kix let you observe for a moment longer and amused himself at your facial expressions when observing their occupations.
“Aye, Kix’s back,” one called out, “let’s meet the new shiny-”
They all came to attention and just as fast halted, seeing your figure standing next to Kix. You wore an outfit that was somewhere between a Kaminoan nurse uniform and a Jedi’s undergarment. Mostly white, with hints of blue, the uniform had the signature Kaminoan half skirt and pants with a metal belt that hugged the curve of your hips tightly with a blue gem in the centre, while the top half resembled a Jedi’s under tunic, fitted everywhere except for the sleeves, which flared out at your wrists. It had been gifted to you in order to match the colours of your new squad, but it was still a uniform you were familiar with as it had hints indicating your medical status, but clearly, the clones weren’t familiar with it at least not on a female human figure.
You waited for someone to say something, eventually looking to Kix, who was still amused, now by his own brother’s reactions. Finally, Kix spoke, “alright, you gawkers,” he clapped his hands, but their expressions didn’t change, “this is our new squad nurse, I’ve worked with her several times before and she’s the best of the best, she trained with Jedi Master Rig Nema on Coruscant,” Kix glanced around, rolling his eyes, looking to you and winking, he added, “and she’s force sensitive, mind-reader, so watch your thoughts!” With that they all snapped to attention, looking at Kix with an anxious expression.
“No, no,” you lifted your hands, concerned with how worried they looked, “I’m not a Jedi, so I can’t do those kinds of things.” You were partially lying, but you wanted them to feel at ease around you, not constantly worrying that you were reading their deepest darkest thoughts.
“So, you’re from Coruscant, you’re force-sensitive, and you trained with a master, but you’re telling us you’re not a Jedi?”
“Easy Fives,” Kix said, turning to you, knowing your past, “you don’t have to tell them anything if you don’t want to.”
Thinking it over for a moment, you pushed your lips together, giving Kix a look that you were okay, he turned back to face the company, “I’m not a Jedi,” you started, “and I’m not from Coruscant either. I was identified as force sensitive when I was a very small child, I was taken to the Jedi Temple, but…I failed the entry tests; I was too scared, too emotional, and empathetic according to them. It weakened my connection with the force in the way the Jedi look for it, especially now with the war.”
“So why didn’t you get to go home?” the clone with a handprint on his chest plate asked with more sympathy in his voice than his counterpart.
Taking a deep breath, you began to feel a little more at ease as you told your story, “Master Nema felt that I could be of great assistance as a medic alongside her in the Jedi hospital wing. So, she let me stay, she trained me to be a nurse, how the force can be used as a kind of medicine, a detector, and an aid. Despite never being able to be a Jedi, I grew up in the temple, but I was never…well, that’s not very interesting, but that’s most of my story,” you concluded with a smile.
The clones took to you quickly, they began asking questions about your time on coruscant and of training in the Jedi medical wing. It made you happy that they were so interested.
“Ma’am have you ever worked on General Skywalker?” A clone asked, trying hide his smile.
“Oh yes,” you admitted, knowing he was their general, “let me tell you he’s a squirmer, I can’t get him to stay still for the life of me.”
The troops erupted with laguhter, which made you smile, feeling more and more a member of their family by the moment. After a few more questions, a command came over the intercom, Kix told you that you might want to find a seat, the cruiser was going into hyperdrive. You hadn’t even realised that it’d left the bay or the planet, which startled you a little. Nodding, you found a seat on the windowsill, you wanted to see first-hand what it looked like, having never been off-world.
You saw Coruscant as a little planet beneath the cruiser, for a few moments it just got smaller and smaller, until the stars stretched around you and blurred your vision of the planet, before turning into swirls of blue and black. Just like that, it was gone, you raised a hand to the window, a heavy exhale leaving you. You felt like a child leaving their mother for the first time, you knew you were stronger than this, but nothing could prepare you from leaving the only place you’d ever called home.
“You alright?” A voice asked behind you.
Turning in your makeshift seat on the windowsill, you looked up, “oh, yes, thank you,. . . um, Fives, was it?”
“That’s me,” he said proudly, sitting opposite from you, “so, never been away from home?” You nod in response, “well, don’t worry, we all kind of know what that’s like, with Kamino and all, but we manage and I bet you will too.”
“Thank you, Fives,” you tilt your head to rest it softly against the window watching the stars, there was a comfortable pause between the two of you, he already felt like a best friend, “hey Fives, how’d you all get your names if you don’t mind me asking?”
Setting his helmet down, he began to explain that it was just something all clones did before leaving Kamino, it was a way of having some individuality in the legion. He was kind enough to actually identify everyone in the room for you, sometimes he broke into a little story about why someone had that name, like Echo. Eventually, they realised what was going on and some came to personally introduce themselves to you.
“We should give you one!” a clone shouted out after Fives finished introducing you to everyone.
“But I already have a name,” you shrug, wondering why they’d suggest it.
“Yeah, but now you’re in the five-o’-first, you’re one of us,” Fives gave you a smirk that made you blush a little.
“Yeah, okay!” you agreed enthusiastically after they all chimed in reasons you should have one.
After a few good laughs about suggested names, they finally settled on one despite your hesitation and objection, they insisted that it suited you, so you complied. Asking if this was the ship you’d be on the majority of the time, you decided to familiarise yourself with the passages and rooms. Kix offered to take you to the medical bay a little later but could sense that you wanted some time alone to take everything in. Kix literally had to stop a group that offered to show you around.
The halls were big and bright, you liked how clear the instructions you’d received were; it was a whole layout of the ship, the only problem was that it was a tiny hologram picture projected from your wristlet. You’d never had one before, always familiar with a pad or screen, but since you were going to be on the ground and out in the field they needed a more compact version for you.
“Okay…,” you were staring down at the little projection, “so if I’m here…then I need to go- oof!”
You’d run right into the back of someone. Taking a step back, you were prepared to apologize profusely, mildly embarrassed that you hadn’t been watching where you were going, but the figure turned around and you went silent. He was a clone, but there was a presence you’d never felt before when you met his eyes.
“Careful there, girly,” his deep strong voice said softly and kindly.
“So-so sorry, sir,” you managed, “I’m not familiar with this layout and I’ve never been on a ship before.”
“Ah, a shiny aye?” Rex raised an eyebrow and smirked, it wasn’t condescending in fact it felt more flirtatious. You smiled slowly, trying to repress the blush rising, Rex chuckled, ‘a little flirting wasn’t a bad thing’ he told himself, assuming you were probably just being transported and he’d never see you again, “let me see where you’re headed, I’m sure I can help.”
Bringing your wrist in front of you, Rex moved beside you, examining the map, hand on his chin. You were distracted by his proximity, you not so subtly looked over to observe his profile. Although you’d seen it before, he was different and you couldn’t explain why. You softly smiled noticing his short blonde hair, a personal modification. You could also smell a signature cologne that was different from everyone else’s. As your eyes came back down you were noticing just how much of his neck was exposed without the helmet on. A smirk came across Rex’s lips, he shifted his eyes over to you for only a moment, returning to the hologram. “You really should work on keeping your eyes where they need to be,” Rex said, knowing it’d fluster you.
Lips parting with a shock at your own behaviour, you stared forward, uncertain how to respond, chest now rising and falling far more obviously than you wanted it to be. There was a burning blush on your cheeks that even you couldn’t repress.
Straightening back up, Rex pointed to a box on the projection, “you’re headed here, it’s the hangar bay, I assume you’ll find your transport there; we’ll be prepping for a mission soon, so I’m sure you’ll get your instructions for departure there. And if you need any more help before then…just find me.” Rex winked.
“Oh right- yes, of course, right,” you fumbled, still feeling embarrassed, “thank you so much, I- I will be sure to tell Captain Rex how helpful you were.”
Rex tilted his head amused as he watched you quickly walk away, shocked that you had no idea you were talking to Rex the entire time.
When you found your way to the hangar bay, you met up with Kix and the 501st. There was a routine squad check before you were sent on your mission. So, you fell in line with the rest of them once it was announced the Captian was present. You swallowed harshly, eyebrows furrowing up together, fiddling with your fingers behind your back as you stood amidst the rows of the 501st. Kix looked over to you with a subtle reassuring smile, to which you tried to convincingly returned, not wanting him to think any less of you just because you’d never seen action and that you were anxious that this Captain Rex would be like a drill sergeant because you were a “shiny” as they called it.
‘If only the clone I met earlier were the captain, he was so sweet and nice, and-’ Lost in your thoughts you stared down at the floor across from where you stood, biting the inside of your lip you questioned if this was the right call, if you were cut out for this, did any of them really like you, what if Rex– it was then that you realized you were the only one with your head down instead of snapped into attention. Looking up and to your left swiftly, you saw Rex making his way towards you, his signature Jaig eyes markings were far more intimidating than you imagined. You held your head high and tried to mimic the clones around you even though you stuck out like no tomorrow. Rex had been simply and quietly walking past them, but your throat tightened when he stopped a few paces after you and retrace his steps, walking backwards.
“What are you doing here?” Rex asked, placing his hands on his utility belt with commanding ease.
“Well, I’m,” you began, trying to read his expression, but it was nearly impossible with his helmet on, “I’m the squad’s nurse.”
“We already have a medic,” he countered, really asking for you to divulge more information.
“Yes, but-”
“I requested for her transfer, sir,” Kix joined in, still staring straight ahead as he spoke like his training encouraged, especially while speaking out of line, meanwhile you and Rex simultaneously looked over to the clone defending you.
“Why?” Rex questioned, his tone not mad, nor upset, he was just looking for an honest answer.
“I need the extra hands, and she has abilities none of us have which are most beneficial medically,” Kix continued, “she’s the best I’ve ever seen, sir, and I have confidence she’ll save many lives.”
Rex slowly tilted his head to meet your gaze which was switching between the two men in uniform eagerly, “I see. I trust your judgement Kix,” the Captain concluded.
You released a breath you’d been holding but sharply inhaled when Rex moved to stand directly in front of you. Straightening up once again, you looked up, an anxious look still across your face. Rex lifted his hands and removed his helmet, tucking it under his forearm and holding it against his side. You met his eyes; jaw nearly dropping, lips parting and eyes widening, you recognized him immediately. Blinking you waited, knowing that if you spoke it’d be “out of line,” as he outranked you and he hadn’t asked you another question. You panicked thinking how disrespectful you’d been not to address him as Captain easier in the hallway.
“Welcome to the Five-o-first,” Rex gave a half-smile, lifting his hand to shake yours.
Staring down at his open hand, a soft smile spread across your face. Happily, you brought your hand to meet his, and glanced up, truly meeting his gaze again, your smile caused your eyes to squint a little as you spoke through it, “thank you…Captain, I’m glad to be in such company.”
Rex’s expression softened, and the tough, firm Captain attitude briefly faded, his face relaxed when he looked at you. In that moment, he didn’t treat you like another soldier, instead of a hard handshake, he automatically tilted your hand, his caressing yours from underneath, thumb pressed gently across your knuckles. He wasn’t sure where it came from or how he learned it, he’d only ever seen it when Anakin helped Senator Amidala down steep stairs, or out of a cruiser. Rex caught himself staring down at your hand in his, he carefully pulled his hand back from yours, not harshly, just suddenly, subtly shaking himself out of it, he looked at you once again.
“Well, yes, we should get…going,” he said, placing his helmet back on and continuing his inspection of troops.
You followed his path with your eyes, even leaning forward, head striking out from between the line of clones to watch him as far as you could.
“I think he liked you,” Kix playfully elbowed your arm as he looked down to you.
Leaning back into proper position, you smiled to yourself for more than one reason, before answering, “you think so?”
“I’d say,” another voice chimed in from your other side, it was Fives, he was one clone down from you and there was a slight amusement in his tone, “I’ve never seen the captain so stunned.”
“Stunned?” You lifted an eyebrow pondering that word, “oh, then I’m not so sure-”
“Trust us,” Echo, who was directly beside you, placed a reassuring hand on your shoulder, “we mean it in a good way; I’ve never seen him look at someone the way he looked at you, so take that as a good omen.”
Nodding to them, you could tell the line had been dismissed as Jesse came over to your little group from where he stood across the aisle, “See, not so scary, is he? What’d he say to you?”
While you and Kix began explaining the encounter to a few more clones who joined the conversation, Fives and Echo were waved over by Rex. As they left, it caught your attention; looking over your shoulder, you saw Rex standing with arms crossed, staring straight at you. His gaze made you quickly look forward once again despite the fact that his helmet was on, it felt strong.
“Sir?” Fives and Echo said in time, nodding to their superior.
Rex hesitated before pulling his stare away from you, “what do you know about her?” he asked them, not particular about who answered.
Fives exchanged a look with Echo and began, “well, she’s force sensitive-”
“A Jedi?” Rex interrupted with a frustrated tone, already drawing assumptions that you were undercover and they left him out of the plan.
“No, sir,” Echo hastened, “they identified her, but…she didn’t pass the entry exams when she was a child.”
“Ah,” was all that came from beneath Rex’s helmet.
“She trained under Jedi Master Doctor Rig Nema for her medical training though,” Fives added, “so who knows what tricks she might’ve still picked up. Could be quite useful in battle.”
“I’m not making her fight in our battle,” Rex said plainly.
“She’s coming with us though, isn’t she?” Echo asked, momentarily confused.
“She is,” Rex nodded, “but she chose the life of a medic, she’s a healer, not a soldier.”
“But Kix-”
“Is one of us,” Rex finished Fives’ thought for him. Seeing the troopers’ confusion, he removed his helmet to talk to them face-to-face, in a quieter tone he explained, “Kix is our brother, he was born and bred for battle, then he was medically trained. She’s not a soldier, she has abilities we don’t understand, but that doesn’t mean she should be forced to use them in war, she wasn’t trained like the generals,” Rex looked between the two, “understood?”
Fives and Echo again exchanged a look, now understanding what he meant as they looked over to you, bright eyes filled with an eagerness to learn about the trooper lifestyle, but an innocence that was soon going to be lost to war.
“Yes, sir,” they responded.
“Good,” Rex nodded, ending the discussion, about to put his helmet on when Fives coughed to grab his attention.
“What- uh, what do you think of her, Sir?”
Echo gave an eye roll, not impressed with Fives’ attempt at subtlety.
“What do I think of her?” Rex repeated, raising an unamused eyebrow. He knew what they were asking, but for now, he wanted to avoid the feeling that had stayed in the pit of his stomach since he first saw you.
“Well, all the men have given her a nickname so she feels a bit more like one of us,” Fives continued, “they decided on Angel,” Fives glanced to Echo when he noticed Rex staring in your direction again, “they picked it because she’s been so nice to us all, and she’s a nurse, so healing and all, and well maybe…” he paused, “some of them fancy she looks like one, you know from the moon of Iego?”
There was a part of Rex that was amused by the fact that his men were already falling for you and a part that related. Rex wasn’t sure what it was about you, but the gravity you had seemed to pull him in immediately. Everything in his life had been accelerated, his age, his training, his entrance into the war, he began to wonder if his emotions were too.
“I ‘s’ppose it does,” Rex smiled.

Some love for Jesse! 🥰
She/Her pronouns
Tumblr media
Despite the room being filled, his eyes landed on her. She stood next to General Skywalker. Her eyes lit with a smile as her hand rested on his shoulder.
He wonders what he could have said for her to react that way. He hears the static of his private channel he shares with his brothers sparking to life-
“Jesse, feeling jealous?” Hardcase snickers
“Shut up” Jesse grumbles out as he glares over to where his brother stands before turning back to see her, her eyes now on him
-
Your heart flutters at the sight of him. He is part of the reason you request missions with Skywalker. When you are sent off to work along side others, you always have Jesse lurking in the back of your mind.
A shy smile spreads on your lips as you raise your hand to give him a wave. He waves with his free hand and nods to the clone stood next to him before making his way over.
He is removing his helmet and you feel heat filling your cheeks. You avert your gaze to press your cool fingers against your cheeks. Get ahold of yourself, you think before glancing shyly up at him.
“Jesse!” Your excitement rings clear in your tone “How have you been?”
-
She’s happy to see me? His heart pounds harder at the thought. He’s never imagined for someone like her wanting to see him. After all his face is not exactly one in a million-literally.
“Good, I’ve been good” Jesse beams “and yourself? Commander?”
“Likewise” she cocks her head to the side, her brows knitting together as her hand reaches up and he flinches slightly away from her touch.
“I’m sorry, you had-“ she tires again and this time he lets her. A shiver runs up his spine, her touch is soft like a feather and her fingers cool compared to the heat in his cheeks “an eyelash”
-
You laugh a little as he pinches the small hair off the tip of your finger. You watch the way he looks at it, his lips turned down and brows knit together.
“Oh thank-“
“You make a wish on it”
Your hands had caught his wrist before he could discard the small hair. His confusion is clear on his face and you giggle before holding his finger in front of his lip.
“Make a wish, and then blow on it” you tell him and he glances around him as if to remind you of where you both stand “go on” you encourage him and he sighs but smiles before taking it seriously
“Well? What did you wish for?” You ask after and he laughs shaking his head “huh?! C’mon tell me”
-
She laughs, her eyes lighting up the way that makes his stomach flutter and his heart stop beating for only a moment. She’s so beautiful when she smiles, her laugh like music to his ears. He is sure, no one else can make him feel this way. He reaches for her hand, holding it in secret as best he could
“Okay, I wished-“
“Commander, General Skywalker is asking for you on the bridge”
His hand pulls from hers with the same speed as hers pulled from his. She had turned to the clone, thanking him before turning back. Her hand finding his once more, she gives it a squeeze.
“Another time, yeah?” Her eyes searching his with a hope that made his heart squeeze in his chest
“I’m counting on it” he grins and she glances around, before leaning up to press a soft kiss to his cheek before leaving him to stand staring after her.

Alright, I am in love with Wrecker having kids of his own. 🥺 he'd be such a sweet dad and I can't wait to see the rest of the batch as fathers! I was wondering though, would you ever do this for the 501st or any other clones? Cause I'd be here for it for sure 🥺💕💖 Especially if you did Hardcase becoming a dad, that goof ball would be adorable ahhh! Anyways, I can't wait to read the rest of the batch!! 😭💖💕💞💖💕💞
A/N: Oh my goodness yes, time for some Hardcase representation! I think there'd be a lot of similarities between Wrecker's and Hardcase's parenting styles. Thank you for your continued support of my writing and blog! 💙
Having A Child With Hardcase Would Include
Description: Hardcase x Fem!Reader. As with my other clone headcanons/preferences, it's a Y/N insert story with the number of children I envision reader and Hardcase having.
Rating: General audiences (with a spicy reference if you squint), AU fluffiness where Umbara turns out different and this sweetheart gets the life he deserves 😌

Tumblr media
There is never a dull moment with Hardcase
If you thought parenthood was going to slow him down in any way, no you didn't
Becoming a father only amplified his playful, witty personality, something you didn't think was scientifically possible
When you told him you were pregnant, he all but bounced off the walls
Hardcase was "so kriffin' excited" to become a dad
He said exactly that to every person that crossed his path for weeks on end, especially his brothers
"How did I get so lucky? I can't believe it."
("Me either. Y/N actually thinks the galaxy can survive a smaller, louder version of you" - Fives, probably)
You were admittedly a bit nervous about becoming a parent, but as always, Hardcase had no fear
He tackled the learning curve head on, and it brought you so much joy and confidence to see his paternal instincts kick in as you both prepared for the arrival of your little one
Suddenly, he was aware of every hazard he'd never paid attention to himself, and in just a few hours, he completely baby-proofed every inch of your apartment
He even kept track of the days in your pregnancy, counting down to your expected due date
He loves (to attempt) cooking for you
Is he great at it? No. Did he burn everything at first and almost set your kitchen on fire three times? Definitely. Did he get better with practice and learn to make your favorite foods just the way you like them? Absolutely
Lots of cuddles watching holos together
Whenever he had to leave for the day, he would always kiss you first and then your growing belly
"Can't leave without telling our baby goodbye."
You adore how much he says that - our baby - and how much he's already devoted to being a dad
On your difficult pregnancy days, he would always be by your side to talk to you and tell you jokes until you were smiling again
Love At First Sight
From the moment your daughter was born, he was wrapped around her little finger
"She's so beautiful. Look what we made. No growth chamber or anything."
You jokingly reminded him that that was technically your role
"Oh...right. Of course. Great job! Not a single crack in the jar. Better than Kamino!"
In the weeks after your daughter was born, it was a battle to get Hardcase to put her down, literally
"Where I go, she goes."
Many naptimes were spent on her daddy's chest because he simply didn't want to let her out of his sight
(Sorry to report that diapers are you division, though. You just can't put your poor darlings through that again...)
Seeing him dote on your little girl so much only made you fall in love with him more; you were proud to call him the father of your children
Oh yes, children. You weren't done adding to the ranks of your little battalion, and neither was your cyare
A year and a half later, you gave birth to not one, but two sons
More than a few tears were shed as Hardcase held the twins in his arms
You better believe he was telling everyone about it too, calling many of his brothers to share the news before you even left the hospital
("We're doomed" - Fives again, probably)
How do you do, fellow kids?
Hardcase is a child himself at heart, which means he is your children's first and favorite best friend
Whatever they're interested in, you can bet he's into it too
He watches more children's holos with them than you do, and you're the one who stays home
Seriously, he knows all the words to the theme songs, the lore for each show, and the powers and skills of every character - it's a big thing that he and the kids bond over
Boredom is not a word in your house
Whatever your children ask for, Hardcase ensures they get (within reason)
He's likely getting something for himself too, especially if it's sweets
They want to build model starships? He's first in line at the market in the morning to get the kits
Your daughter wants to play dolls? You better believe her daddy is on that floor doing the right voices and following the story lines (and maybe causing the occasional pretend explosion or starship crash because he lives for the Drama™)
They all want to turn the livingroom into a battlefield to fight imaginary droids? Guess who their commander is
"Why not promote myself? I earned it!"- Hardcase when you teasingly pointed out his new rank
You enjoy getting in on the fun too and being the Zillo Beast attacking the barracks or the queen taken hostage that the dashing commander and his squad have to rescue from a den of bounty hunters
I cannot stress this enough: ANTICS
Pillow fights and roughhousing? HE probably started it
He's taking the fall for it too, because he'd rather face a firing squad than see any of his little troopers in trouble
In the everyday domestic disputes, discipline obviously begins and ends with you
You had to convince him that timeouts were not equivalent to capital punishment
Even then, you have to stop him from letting the kids out early
Bed times? What are those?
Speaking of bed, you had to invest in a bigger one because your beloved couldn't bear sending any of the kids away when they wanted to sleep with mom and dad
Seriously, he cannot say no to his babies
No night is complete with out tickle fights, either
Despite often having a foot in your ribs (which doesn't always belong to a child), you actually love sleeping with your family near and wouldn't have it any other way
Exception: the kids get sent to their own beds immediately when mommy wants a tickle fight with daddy. Commander's orders.
It's not only fun and games
With a little coaching from you, Hardcase was able to find balance between work and play, especially as the kids entered adolescence
It's not his strong suit, but he genuinely tries to help them with their academy studies (eventually they learn to go to you first; dad is for times of desperation only)
He is, however, at the ready any time they need a good joke or exciting story to brighten their day and banish their stress
Family holo night is mandatory
There's usually bickering over what to watch - i.e. your partner and offspring are disputing which loud, brightly-colored animated holo to put on - but diplomacy resumes as soon you bring the snacks out
Sometimes you just can't help but laugh and watch the chaos
All of your children certainly inherited their father's bold enthusiasm for life and passionate courage
When your daughter began to experience bullying at academy for standing up for a friend, Hardcase wasted no time expressing how proud he was of her for doing what's right
He was equally supportive of the boys when they later showed interest in weapons training and possible careers in the military
Just as when they were younger, he is always there for them to make them smile and feel secure and loved
There's no limit to what Hardcase will do for his family, and you wouldn't trade one day of your beautiful, whirlwind life with him for anything in the galaxy

‧͙⁺˚*・༓☾Bad Day
Tumblr media
Captain Rex/GN!Reader
‧͙⁺˚*・༓☾Warning(s): Pre-Established Relationship, Anxiety, Crying, Comfort, Mentions of Battle of Abregado, and Reader is a Personnel Administration Specialist in the GAR
Notes: This is fully a self indulging fic. The situation actually happened at work the other day and I just decided that I would write it with one of my favs.
While this fic is not NSFW or 18+, this blog is still an 18+ blog. Profiles without their age or who are minors that follow me will be blocked.
Tumblr media
“I completely understand your concern, General, and I promise I am keeping a close eye on them. I have continued my one-on-ones with each troop and I have not noticed a fall back with one of them. However, should it bring you peace of mind, I will request another evaluation before you and the 104 head out.”
“That would be greatly appreciated.” General Plo bows his head at you.
“I will send the request now. Thank you for stopping in with me, General.” You smile up at the Jedi as he stands to leave.
The smile drops the moment the door closes behind Jedi General Plo. The General had come to you to discuss his concerns about his battalion's mental health but mainly Wolffe, Boost, and Sinker. While the 104th battalion was rebuilt, it is still hard on the only three clones who survived the Battle of Abregado. You admire the Jedi’s care and love for his men but you often have him in your office talking about his troops and you have to give him the same answer every time.
You check the time and sigh as you realize that you still have a few hours left. As the war rages on, you feel more and more tense at your job. Helping Clone troopers develop their positions within the GAR and providing personal support is something you love to do, but lately it has been wearing you down. Some days are worse than others for you. Like today, there has been the constant feeling of something being wrong and, like there is a hole in your chest that is filled with worry. Hiding it has been easy, but the more you talk with Generals and troopers, the more you feel it eating at you.
A knock at your office door startles you out of your moment of peace. You stare at the door as your eyes burn with frustrated tears, wishing you could simply be alone for the rest of the day. The person knocks again and you close your eyes to will away the tears as you take a deep sigh.
“Come in.” You adjust yourself and force a small smile. The door slides open to reveal Captain Rex on the other side. “Captain. How may I help you?”
Rex says nothing as the door slides shut behind him. Once the door is in place, he walks towards your desk and smiles down at you. The sight of him after the day you had instantly brought more tears to your eyes. It feels as though you can finally breathe after being under water. Hoping to hide the tears, you look down to your datapad as if to check a message, but it was useless as Rex caught one tear sliding down.
“Hey hey, what’s wrong?” He is quick to come to your side, crouching down as he turns your chair towards him.
More tears come as you swallow a sob, shaking your head as you struggle to talk. Rex moves closer and brings his hand up to cup your cheek while the other rests on your knee. He is gentle as he wipes away the tears on the left side of your face, the thumb of his other hand is rubbing soothingly on your knee.
“What’s going on, Cyar'ika? I need to know so I can help.”
Taking a shaking breath, you shrug your shoulders. “I don’t know. Just all day, I’ve felt like something is wrong and I don’t know what it could be. I’ve felt like my chest is hollow and it has just,” you take a deep breath as a new wave of tears come. “It has been a bad day.”
“I can tell,” Rex says teasingly.
You give a wet laugh as you look down at your lap, trying to stop the tears. Both of you sit in silence for a moment as you keep trying to stop the tears and Rex is comforting you. You feel like a weight has been lifted from you after being able to vent what you are feeling, but that hole is still in your chest and your thoughts start to race once more for a reason. As your face turns blank, Rex knows what is happening and is quick to react.
“Why don’t we take a break for a bit. When was the last time you’ve been out of the office?”
You blink out of the trance you were in to look up at him. “Probably around lunch.”
“That was over 3 hours again,” he gives you a disappointing look and it makes you look down once more. “Let’s see if some fresh Coruscant air will do some good.”
“That is the biggest oxymoron I’ve ever heard,” you say as you use his hand to help you stand from your chair.
“True but it is still fresher than the stuffy air in these offices.”
You snort as you walk out of your office holding his hand, squeezing softly to say thank you. Rex says nothing besides looking over at you with a smile and squeezing back. Both of you know you don’t feel completely better, but you are better than you were moments ago, and that is okay.

Blitz sighed while he starred at the Officers behind the ray shield. They were rowdy - understandably. But he hated prisoners who were loud.
Cody sighed too and starred at him. ,,Slick?”
Blitz nodded. ,,Yeah, I told her 'Slick' means Traitors. Here she used it as. ,We need to get out of here because of traitors.’ I knew when I saw her face, something was wrong.”
Cody nodded thoughtful. ,,And you really think Y/N and I could have something similar?”
Blitz smirked. ,,Kote, I’ve seen the way she looks at you. I’m sure you can have something similar, but made just for the two of you.” He sighed and grimaced. ,,And about me? She will pair me with her Medic Friend of the 31ft.”
Cody smirked. ,,Well, is she beautiful?”
Blitz grin. ,,Yeah, Cecilia is beautiful. I spoke with her fellow Medics. She is also smart and thinks outside the box a lot. Crowder was worried, when she first started with them but now he is not worried any more. She once patched their General up with only Bactasolution and Tape. The I.V. Solution. She created some kind of tape-foil bubble and injected the Bacta in it. Because they were out of Bacta patches and Gel. It healed properly.”
Cody nodded. ,,Sounds like this woman is just as Advanced and self reliant as you, Vod.”
Blitz smirked. ,,Yeah, I got that feeling. But I don’t want to make it too easy for Y/N to set us up.”
Cody laughed. ,,Yeah, I guess she would hold it over your head for a long time.”
Blitz grin snd was just about to reply, when his Datapad chimed, he frowned and looked at it. Then his eyes widened. ,,She did it again.”
Kote frowned. ,,Who?”
,,Cecilia. She went out after their MIA." (Missing In Action) He read further and sighed. ,,I’m beginning to think Y/N wants to pair Cecilia and me, so I can bring her home, qfter the recklessstunts she pulls...” He shook his head. ,,Look what that crazy woman did.” He held his Datapad out for Kote.
Kote frowned and took it.

Sergeant Medic CC- 1209-67 {Crowder} reports:
《 Cecilia Hart MIA 》
Situation:
Medic Hart Reported several times to Captain CC-3408 {Chain} ,I know they are out there and alive, we have to get them back! No one is left behind.”
After several Regional Life scans, which resulted in no signs. Captain CC-3408 {Chain} ordered Medic Hart to her Quarters to cool off.
Medic Hart did retreat to her Quarters but unbeknownst to Captain CC-3408 {Chain} , she exited the Base perimeters and is now reported as MIA, since there was no live signs of her for 52h. Regional Scans have also showed no results in finding the Civilian Medic Cecilia Hart.

Cody shook his head. ,,What do you think happened? She found them or what ?”
Blitz shrugged. ,,I don’t know, Kote. But as soon as we are on Coruscant I’ll fly to her and find her.”
Kote frowned. ,,If you have the order.”
Blitz smirked. ,,Cecilia is the adoptive Sister of one of the Senators. It is vital for the Republic to get her back.”
Kote laughed. ,,Really?”
Blitz nodded. ,,Yeah, Senator Amidala’s adoptive Sister. She never took Naberrie as her last name, also to keep herself safe, since Amidala run for Queen quite early in her life.”
Kote clapped his Vod on his Pauldron. ,,Lucky Bastard.”
Blitz laughed. ,,I’ll get our Girl back, one way or another. I just hope, she is stuck somewhere in a cave and not in Separatist Hands.”
Kote nodded thoughtful. ,,Hope is always good, Vod. It keeps ya going.”
Blitz nodded. He frowned. ,,Did we just exit Hyperspace?”
Kote frowned and called Block.
,,The Admiral?”
,,Cody here, did we just drop out of Hyperspace?”
,,Yes, we did, we made some alternate calculations and we are above Coruscant. We will begin landing sequences soon.”
Cody frowned. ,,Good, Admiral.” And shut the comm off.
Blitz frowned. ,,It is a 8h trip to Coruscant. How did we do it in 4h?”
Kote shrugged. ,,You’ll go ask your Sister.”
Blitz nodded and left for the bridge.
He saw Block on the Comm Console with Yularen and spotted you in front of the viewport.
,,Y/N? How did you do it in 4h?”
You turned and grin. ,,Mathematics, Blitz. We let the Reactor core work double and cut the energy on several places, for example the hangar and the lifts, and we dimmed the lights on several decks, others we shut down completely.”
He frowned. ,,You want to tell me, we just traveled double light speed?”
You laughed. ,,No, not double but just as fast as light. You see light speed in not actual light speed it is the speed of the slowest lights but now we traveled with the fastest lights. Usually hyperspace is blue and dark blue and sometimes white with it. Now it was just white. Blindingly so even.”
He nodded. ,,Alright and now?”
You shrugged. ,,Now we set everything back to normal.”
Blitz nodded. ,,I need to leave I have another assignment. It starts as soon as I sit in my ARC 170.”
You nodded. ,,I’ll miss you. Be careful and come back home safely.” You hugged him.
Blitz grin. ,,I love you too, Y/N. Go out with Kote to 79’s.”
You laughed. ,,Matchmaker.”
He grin and kissed the top of your head. ,,See ya.”
You nodded. ,,Ret’urcye mhi” (Maybe we’ll meet again/ Goodbye)
Blitz grin and laughed. ,,Ret’urcye mhi, Vod’ika.”
You looked after him. When he walked out of the bridge you turned back to the Viewport. In ftojt of you, you saw the two massive blast doors of the main hangar open and a in comparison tiny ARC 170 leave to Coruscant. A moment later you saw a Gunship approach and your Comm chimed.  ,,Yes?”
,,Would you be so kind as to open your Hangar for us, Y/N?”
You grin. ,,Already open, Admiral.”
Moments later Yularen and his Deck Officers were on your Bridge. ,,My dear. What have you been up to, this time?”
You grin. ,,Nothing much really. I just wanted to go home while they wanted to go to Ryndellia.”
He frowned. ,,Where the Medical Station is?”
You nodded. ,,Yes, I didn’t ask them. I’ll leave the questioning to the Jedi. They are much more persuasive than I am.”
He smirked. ,,Yes they are. Alright.” He louder said. ,,On your positions!”
You smirked, when you saw his new naval Commander. The last three he had were thrown out because of their incompetence. This one was with him for 4 months. Yularen glared at the rookie but you knew, his glare was better than being ignored. If Yularen glared, then you were doing it right but just too slow. If he ignored you, you were not needed and thus incompetent.
He sighed. ,,Would you mind showing him how it is done, dear?”
You smiled, nodded and helped the rookie.

Cody sighed, he was tired and felt drained after all this, first the Campaign on Geonosis, then the Queen and now his Ships crew were traitors. He sighed and wondered if Y/N was busy. He opted to go up to the Bridge but remembered he needed to round up his men to get them ready. He sighed and ordered his men to pack their things and clean up the messes they made. While he was once again stuck behind his Datapad writing reports.
He sat down in the Messhall and sipped Coffee while he wrote reports and read reports from his Medics and Captains.
He was curious about Blitz, he looked up his Mission log but was blocked due to non ARC Status. The only thing he saw, was:
{On duty}
He sighed. Was he supposed to tell you, your best friends were both in danger out there somewhere? He hoped not. He got the feeling if he knew and didn’t tell you, you would feel betrayed and if he told you - you were worried. He sighed and focused back on his reports.
The next ting he knew, was you were bugging him to get up. He groaned. ,,No.”
You sighed. ,,Kote, come on, we’re home. Get up, or I’ll push you off the bench.”
He lifted his head and blinked sleepy. ,,What?”
You chuckled. ,,We landed and are on Coruscant.”
He sighed and stretched. His shoulders popped as well as his back from being in this weird hunched over position. He looked at you and smiled gently. ,,You would really push me off the bench?”
You nodded. ,,Absolutely. I want to get out of here.”
He sighed and stood up. He clipped his Datapad to his Utility belt and stood next to you. ,,So, you wanted to push me off the bench, while I was sleeping?” he asked determined.
You cocked your head. And hesitated to answer him, when he looked at you, like you were his prey. ,,Yeah… I told you….I wanted to get out… of here.” You studied him warily.
He smirked. ,,Well, you should better run then.” He flexed his Fingers.
Your eyes widened, your turned and run out of the Messhall as fast as you could.
Cody laughed, amused. You really thought you could escape him? There was a reason why Jango named him Glory.
You run through the hallway, dodging all his brothers and even the crates while you run towards the hangar.
Cody was hot on your heels.
When you finally arrived at the Hangar you glanced around and didn’t see him, your run to your Z-95 Headhunter and then out of nowhere he grabbed your waist and tickled you. You went to the floor laughing and giggling.
,,You really thought you could outrun me?”
You nodded while you laughed.
He grin. ,,Still think that?”
You shook your head and kept on laughing.
He smirked and let your breath for two seconds, then tickled your again.
,,I’m-“ you laughed. ,,-sorry.”
He grin. ,,What for Mesh’la?”
He let you breath again. ,,For saying I’d push you off the bench.”
He nodded. ,,Aha.”
You grin. ,,I just said it, so you would wake up faster.”
He raised his brows. ,,Is that so?”
You nodded. ,,Yes.”
He pursed his lips and tickled you again. ,,Alright, Blitz told me to go out with you tonight. You coming with me?”
You smirked . ,,Want me to wear gold?”
He gazed at you softly . ,,You shouldn’t.” Then he grin. ,,Captain Gold may think you actually like him.”
You laughed. ,,On no, thank you. No-thank you.”
He chuckled. ,,But I’m not telling you what to wear. Surprise me with something nice.”
You nodded. ,,Alright. What do you wear? Armor or Uniform?”
He smirked. ,,Uniform? No thank you.” He knocked on his chest. ,,This is more comfortable.”
You nodded. ,,Good.”
He helped you up. ,,Fly safely.”
You nodded. ,,See you later, Glory boy.”
He laughed, surprised at you nickname. Then he smirked. ,,Yeah, I know I am Glorious, maybe you’ll find out someday just how glorious.” He winked.
You blushed and hid your head inside your pilot helmet.
Cody chuckled triumphant.
