Confession: I am not a very romantic person. I think that it was probably actually a person I wasn't in a relationship with - which sounds a bit weird. Anyway ... he worked with a company that my company did business with, we met pretty regularly at work events (formal and informal), had quite a bit in common, flirted a bit and at one point talked about the fact we could have gone out if he hadn't been in a relationship already ... then when I met him at a later time, he told me he'd split up with his partner because he'd been caught in bed with another woman! That resolved my feelings pretty quickly. We met a few times over the years as friends, but it's probably for the best that nothing romantic happened.

30. Talk about what turns you off.

Haha, funnily enough, you can probably guess that infidelity did a pretty good job of that! I'd add unnecessary crudeness as well.

I do my bestest to keep this blog quite wholesome, even with a lot of feelings-posting, since I want it to be safe and supportive for myself and others. Working on being that IRL too, including when times are rough, and it's been tough, but having an outlet is always helpful, and AA and blogging have been huuuuge this year. Getting better at being honest about difficulties while also reframing things to be trending positive is a massive change for me and it's an uphill struggle so I'm very happy to hear my online presence is a pleasant and kind one!
