“Oh, he’s an awkward sod at the best of times, God knows, but he’s my awkward sod.”
“Have you told him? People don’t know how you feel unless you tell them.”
“Do you love Laura? Then go. Show her that you love her. Don’t assume that she knows. People make the assumption and it’s a mistake”

Main or main-ish cast Morseverse actors I’ve seen live onstage over the years...
(NB: from what I remember.)
- Roger Allam (as Falstaff in Henry IVs and as Prospero in The Tempest <3 )
- Clare Holman (as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, opposite Michael Maloney (who guested in Lewis!) as Romeo)
- Danny Webb (in a play by Ben Elton that I actually hated but he was very good in it)
(I’ve inevitably seen more in recorded versions of plays! Especially Jack Laskey who has a delightful tendency to frequent the Globe and be amazing. And I’ve seen a significant number more guest actors live, including Robert Stephens and Jane Lapotaire.)
I need more of the Endeavour cast to come up to Scotland for some theatre productions at some point. ;-) And I’d love to see Roger live again one day. :-)

Review: The Cup and the Lip - Elizabeth Ferrars
Title: The Cup and the Lip
Author: Elizabeth Ferrars
Series: N/A
Release Date: 1975
Publisher: HarperCollins
Rating: 4 stars
Favourite character: Peter
Least favourite character: Kate
Mini-Review: Okay so this was amazing as usual. I love Elizabeth Ferrars books, her writing is just… ugh, I love it. My reason for it not being 5 stars is because of the ending. Not the reveal of the whodunnit, that shocked me. No the romance subplot that was never followed through on. I feel cheated.
