Just little things both of 'em! #I had to throw her into the outfit I picked out as well - it suits her! I do not get Checo changing his win narratives to negative team issues every time! What is the strategy behind that?! First the fastest lap stuff team blaming and now the bringing up Australia/blaming team for not being wdc lead…like I’d be constantly telling people how great I did when I won, not changing the convo to my mistakes…like if he wants to go on a PR/fictional narrative offensive it’d be so much more entertaining if instead of poor me he went with ego/bravado (ie Max couldn’t get past me b/c he was coming from 15th? What’s your excuse for him from 3rd? Etc) Like I know why he doesn’t lol but I just don’t understand his current media strategy of undermining his team (especially his mechanics) after wins

no and that's what i don't understand either? cause i guess, sure, on some level he's big upping himself by implying/saying that if the team hadn't caused those problems for him, he would be leading the championship. but at the same time, when this is such a team sport and there's so many things completely out of the driver's control, it feels like playing with fire to over and over again, completely unnecessarily and for weeks on end, blame them for problems that either aren't their fault at all or aren't that clear cut. and that feels doubly true for a team like red bull where, at least from the outside looking in, the team culture feels very "either you're with us or you're thrown to the wolves."

I really really hate how tribalistic fandom can be. I don't know if it's the social-media-fication of everything tossing everyone into the same blender, but I haaaaate how much I struggle to be authentic.

I WANT to talk to people about things. But I don't have any KH friends who would be part of my "tribe"--the one who cares enough about the story has some strong opinions on certain things that I disagree with, and I don't feel comfortable that they would respect mine, and the others are casual "KH1&2" fans, who I could probably talk to more freely but who don't have the context to understand what I'm talking about.

I just enjoy looking in different places for different ideas, but I feel like if I do I'm automatically sacrificing potential connections with people. We have to make a lot of snap judgments on the internet and I don't want to be snapped out of meeting someone I could get along with

I've met some wonderful friends in fandom and it feels like a miracle. It's a really lonely place.
