Can you list the pokemon that handle mega evolution well?
Pokemon that can and cannot typically handle Mega Evolution, you may have different experiences but these are based on the Pokédex entries
Venusaur - Yes
Charizard - Yes
Blastoise - Yes
Alakazam - Yes, but tentatively.
Gengar - No, the power that overwhelms their brain blurs the line of friend and foe to where all beings are only prey. Meaning, they can become so overwhelmed and attack their trainer and innocent people and Pokemon.
Kangaskhan - Yes
Pinsir - Yes
Gyarados - This depends on your morality. The Pokemon's mind warps into one that can only think of mayhem and destruction, but will still obey their trainer. I don't recommend it.
Aerodactyl - No. The rocks that form during Mega Evolution burst from under the skin and rip through to protrude. In constant pain from the excess energy vibrating through its body.
Ampharos - Yes
Scizor - I wouldn't recommend it, but they can technically handle it for 20 minutes at a time, and then they start to melt.
Heracross - Yes, but they will be bedridden with soreness the next day
Houndoom - No. The power of Mega Evolution makes the Pokemon's internal temperature increase to levels the body cannot handle, and causes extreme pain.
Tyranitar - No. The Pokemon's back splits open and protrudes, causing extreme pain that clouds the Pokemon's mind with rage
Blaziken - Yes
Swampert - Yes
Sceptile - Yes
Gardevoir - Yes
Mawile - No. Become violent with power, and will lash out at anyone in their way
Aggron - Yes
Medicham - Yes
Manectric - Technically yes, but the excess energy from Mega Evolution causes their skin to vibrate uncomfortably. This causes them to get annoyed, but not violent.
Banette - No. Can become violent with excess power and rage that they destroy anything and everything around them.
Absol - Yes, but they're typically pacifist Pokemon, so they may get annoyed at you.
Garchomp - No, they become mad with rage because of the pain of their wings melting into scythes and will destroy until they pass out.
Lucario - Yes
Abomasnow - Yes
Beedrill - Yes
Pidgeot - Yes
Slowbro - Yes
Steelix - Yes
Sableye - Yes. The Pokedex Entry states that the gemstone in it's chest expands until it rips from the Pokemon's chest, but as a ghost type, the Pokemon's body can become nonphysical. When they mega evolve the gem expands and falls through them to the floor, and they use it as a shield.
Sharpedo - No. Mega evolution causes exploding pain, causing them to roar and attack things to cope.
Camerupt - Yes, but be aware that sometimes their volcano like humps may explode with magma, and it's real hard to clean up.
Altaria - Yes
Glalie - No. The overwhelming power of Mega Evolution can cause their jaws to break and spew blizzards without control.
Salamence - No. Their dragon instincts kick into overdrive and leave carnage in their wake
Metagross - I do not recommend it. Like many others, their personalities change under the influence of Mega Evolution, and may do horrible, brutal things that they find hard to live with later.
Lopunny - Yes
Gallade - Yes
Audino - Yes

It’s illegal to own more than one Mamoswine or Piloswine in most regions
This is because when startled, one can be handled, two cannot

If youre a Sceptile owner with a backyard, expect flourishing flowers and other foliage to appear.
If you already have a garden, prepare for a level up. Sceptile are not only adept gardeners, but the seeds growing on the Pokémon’s back are full of nutrients they happily share with the nature around them.

It’s not often talked about, but the rivalry between the Tsareena line and the Toucannon line is much like that of a Zangoose and Serviper.
The Bounsweet line wafts an aroma that smells delicious to the Toucannon line, and gets attacked mercilessly.
So, much like how a Bagon yearns to fly and gained wings in evolution, it’s theorized that Bounsweet grew powerful legs in its evolution into Tsareena specially to jump kick the Toucannon line
Never underestimate the spite of a Tsareena

Do you have any mimikyu headcannons and care tips?
- Mimikyu parents knit or craft their babies outfits before they’re born so they have something to disguise themselves in when they hatch
- Sewing skills are typically natural to a Mimikyu, but those that aren’t try their best
- Many Mimikyu change their disguises after being adopted, often to look more like their trainer or a fellow Pokémon
- Bonding with a Mimikyu can be as simple as creating something together
- You know a Mimikyu trusts you if it asks you to help fixing their disguise after it’s been broken

According to historical Kalosian texts, it’s stated that when Arceus first began creating life on the planet, the Life and Destruction Pokemon, Xernes and Yveltal were lovers that roamed the land giving and taking life away.
In anger of his creations being toyed with, and in fear of being usurped by the powerful duo, Arceus cursed the Destruction and Life Pokemon to never be able to touch again
In retaliation, Xernas fell into a 1000 year sleep, and Yveltal absorbed all life and turned into a cocoon, forcing Arceus to start over in creation

There are depictions of Volcanion in ancient carvings in Hoenn. As the legend goes, when Kyogre and Groudon fought, Volcanion was originally the one made by Arceus to bridge the two, being a fire and water type.
Instead, Kyogre and Groudon worked together for the first and only time, and blew Volcanion all the way to Kalos
Kalos claims this is untrue

Piplup are notably hard to raise, so, every year the Board of Pokemon Sciences receive several complaints from parents of children who received a Piplup as their starter.
So, every year the Board discusses whether or not to take Piplup out of the lineup offered to new trainers.
The complaints usually highlight the Pokémon being incredibly stubborn, and refusing to eat anything given to them, as well as ignoring the commands of their new trainer
This isn’t uncommon for Pokémon caught in the wild, but parents argue that a starter should be easy to raise
