Longplay of Chopper Attack

after my long adventure with the chameleons it is time to continue the C games, next up is... Charlie Blast's Territory which is a puzzle game where you need to push and explode bombs to blow everything up in one go, it is... pretty ok I guess I found it kind of boring, also I learned it has a playstation version which looks completelly different? and I dont mean just graphics, the main character is a little clown kid and the sceneries are composed of different decorations and themes as well, it does have a different title: The Bombing Islands, it is rare for me to prefer the PS1 version of something but in this case I definitely do...
Next was Chopper Attack a shooter helicopter game... it was... ok? I had more fun with the simpler army man one, but it is most likely thanks to co-op hah, this one controls ok and you get to customise your arsenal every new mission with money you get depending on what you did on the previous one etc, oh it also has a fuel system i wasnt a huge fan of, it felt like a hard time limit to the stage, I definitely used all sorts of cheats in the end, as you can see on my shield in that picture hah
Command & Conquer sure is an rts... wish I had a mouse
not much more to say here, didnt enjoy playing it on 64 at all lol
next up is all the cruisin games!

My 2023 art summary 🙂 I haven’t included any #jjba ones in here - I still feel like (and have occasionally been accused of being) a one trick pony when it comes to my pictures, so I wanted to see how un-JoJo my summary could be 🙂 I don’t think it’s too bad! I have done a few different things this year - I felt a bit more confident with One Piece stuff, and I LOVED doing more storybook pictures of Under the Oak Tree 😍 ATM I feel I’ve just about reached the end of my JoJo run (I still have more to do, but new ideas don’t occur to me so frequently anymore 😐) hopefully I can keep the storybook art going with some different things to try 🙂
.
I have also done a JoJo only art summary, but it don’t know if I’ll post I yet 🤷♀️

I think a lot about Zoro being scared out of his mind about childbirth, and how after is all said and done he considers it one of the worst things he's experienced. Since Zoro is a character who's all about control over the body, strength, and stoicism, childbirth would be hard for him to cope with.
And I think about how he has to open himself up to the love and support around him so he can get to the other side of it

oh yeah now that I’m done with one piece I should share my best and worst headcanon that I’ve had since the beginning: Sanji with a thick-ass Italian American accent.
fuck him being French. He’s a perpetually pissed off cook who smokes in the kitchen and is talking shit and throwing hands with the five other guys back there at all times and his respect for women is tenuous at best. He should sound like he’s on the fuckin Sopranos. He has the energy of that guy in the “If X were like delis” videos. At any given moment I am reading his lines with “ey I’m walkin ere” levels of mental narration.
For bonus funnies the rest of Germa can still be French or talk like nobility or whatever. Sanji got his accent from Zeff and then he rocks up to WCI sounding like he just got dragged out of a Bronx gutter

ohhhhh hogback's complete disrespect of cindry. she was kind to him in life and he is rancid to her in death. he remarked about her being kind but he could not extend the same courtesy to her whatsoever. she's respectful to him but he is not in turn -- he takes her engagement as a rejection, and then he digs up her grave and steals her body with a complete disregard to her loved ones but moreover herself! and that means nothing to him because at least he got what he wanted! she was not rude or cruel to him, just kind, and still in death she doesn't get any respect from him. even in death he digs her up and lays her on a slab and puts someone else in her body, someone who will be subservient, and "her personality had changed but all that mattered to me was that she was still beautiful."

“Jake is a bad father.”
I’m gonna need ya’ll to understand that just because a character is considered a “good guy/hero” does not necessarily mean you should be applying modern real life moral values to them. Jake is born 100+ years in the future, he’s on a completely different planet, him and his family are a different species than us, he’s apart of a completely different culture, he exists in a different social climate, he is at war, and they are fictional. Contextually all this information is so important because it tells us none of these people (no matter how moral or ethical or lawfully good) are not going to perceive what is “right” the same way we are. Because the world that teaches them what “right” and “wrong” are, is a very different world than the one we know. Automatically assuming that a fictional character that doesn’t do exactly what you think they should do is inherently wrong, lacks serious media literacy and basic understanding of fiction as a genre.

personally i think it's very impressive that sanji kept as much of his cool as he did and got brook, chopper, nami to safety all whilst having a trauma response and trying to stave off a panic attack

I watched the second episode of Never Let Me Go and saw Chopper as what young Vegas would've been before he got ruined by his father's need to win by trampling over their own family, and that's all I've thought about since, somebody help me
