AMAZING!!!! MY BOYFRIEND YELLED OUT "THAT'S MY GIRL" AFTER EACH SONG 😭😭😭❤
And my choir teacher (who is a retired musical actor and an opera singer) and her husband (also a retired musical singer) COMPLIMENTED ME??? THAT'S SUCH AN HONOR 😭😭😭
She said I blew them all away 😭
If I get the videos I'll post them (with my face blocked of course)
And oh my Goooodddd THE DUETS WERE BEAUTIFUL

November 23 2022
First concert with my choir as a ‘man’ today. I found it funny that one alto was surprised I didn’t sing tenor in the rehearsal since every other group than the boys had a break – Idk but my silly brain found this cute since it means she’s already just accepted that I am masc so of course I will sing with the boys. The reason I didn’t sing that song with the men was it was too deep for me at the beginning – guess who got to sing the deep part anyways. The concert went well if you are curious.

He updates his mom every night with how he spent his day
I’ve learned that if we’re in a big group, if I prefer to sit at a table by myself, 2 out of 3 times he sits at the table with me
He has a terrible British accent

Reasons why I cried this weekend:
I gave an English presentation on Friday, and I had to present to the one man who brings me pure fear. There's no real reason I'm afraid of him. I think most of it is because he's my boyfriend's best friend. But him and his friends kept laughing during my presentation, and when they were listening I made eye contact with him 4 times. So I started crying in the band room after school about it to my best friend.
I then went to color guard tryouts where I cried about it to my other best friend. I started crying 4 different times within the hour.
Even though I'm captain, I'm still afraid of being cut, so I cried about how I was afraid to see if I was cut from the team.
When tryouts were over, I was on Snapchat with my BFF from the band room and sobbing to her about everything.
I had to go to a sleepover for my church's youth group and I have major social anxiety so I called mom bawling my eyes out because I couldn't find the right house.
Then cried my eyes out for 10 minutes in the girl's driveway
Cried talking to the girl and explain how bad my social anxiety really is.
Skip to Saturday morning. Cried on my way home because I wanna tell my band director about it all but I won't see him till Monday.
Skip to Today. Be prepared lol. Nearly had a panic attack before my choir concert because of all the stress and noise. I cried during our pre-show prayer.
Cried when my BFF from thr band room sang her senior solo
Cried when another senior friend sang her solo
Cried when my classmates sang For Good from Wicked
Cried on my way home because my friends had been hiding things from me.
Cried when I got home because I have really bad mental health lol
So yeah, I cried a lot this weekend 😂😂

December 14 2022
After today’s choir concert this one tenor asked me if I might be contra tenor, and when I asked what that was, he said it was a high tenor or somewhere between alto and tenor. That turned into me coming out to him as trans and us talking about how nice it would be when I transition so my voice will change naturally. It was both odd yet relatively calming talking about it with a cis man I only met thrice before. Plus, he seemed surprised that I am trans: maybe I pass better than I imagined.
