Synopsis: provided with the review. Ratings: 🌟3.5/5 Stars🌟. Review: I read books like this very little but some books really touch your heart and slap a reality on your face and you can't do anything but stare at it. This book was one of those. Shreyas a writer who is trying to earn his livelihood but is not so famous as his brother Preyas. Shreya's wife Prakriti comes from a small background with big dreams of foreign trips and luxuries and whatnot that Shreyas can't fulfill and a disastrous fight leads them to the worst decision of their lives that is a divorce but this story is not about the separation of two lovers due to divorce, it's about the separation of a father from his son. This book really made me feel angry and at a time pity Shreyas who couldn't meet his dear child Kanha because of Prakriti's malicious desires to use her own child as a means of extorting money out of Shreyas. I loved the concept of the book a lot although I did find it way too long but the emotions in this book were beautiful, they touched my heart. The longing and the pain of Shreyas made me feel so hurt and sad that I can't even tell you. I felt like there were way too many characters that were not so important for the story and some part might have been cut and the writing was average too not so good but still the book had a really shocking ending and I am glad that I read it. Overall this book is worth reading once if you want to see the law from a different point of view and also if you want to explore the pain of a father during the battle of a child's custody in divorce.
