I think that a problem the warriors fandom runs into a lot is confusing a character's (especially a narrator's) subjective interpretation of what's happening for an objective telling that we'd get from a voice-of-god omniscient narrator.
for example, nightheart feels (in early asc at least) like sparkpelt left him behind. that she abandoned him, even. that's his feelings, and as a kid (then) who grew up in basically a civil war he's allowed to feel negatively about what's happened in his life.
but what happened was she was exiled (the impostor's fault) and he chose not to follow her (his own choice) the way finchpaw did. I think that reading nightheart as someone caught in this more complex situation rather than the objective wronged party in a black and white situation like an uncaring mother leaving her kid behind makes him more interesting!
and, unfortunately, pointing this out gets misinterpreted as negativity towards nightheart as a character rather than a criticism of the story team.

AITA for causing my brother to lose his body?
I'm the older brother. My asshole father left when my brother and I were very little, so it was just mom, my brother and I. We loved mom a lot, she was always nice and sweet.
She got sick and she died, but I didn't accept it. I was certain I could bring her back if I studied hard enough, and my brother was convinced of that, too.
We studied a lot and we finally tried to bring her back, but things didn't go as planned. Mom... That thing wasn't mom, I... I don't know. It was horrible. But even if it was mom, she didn't last, and it cost me a leg and my brother's whole body. I don't know what I'd done if I hadn't managed to link my brother's soul to an object I had at hand in that moment.
I should have known better, I should have protected my brother. I ruined his life. I'm going to do everything I can to fix it, but am I the asshole?

Okay so in one of my rps, Race is from an abusive family (Mom died when he was 4, dad was abusive as hell) and he ran away one night to avoid getting killed and Albert (With his dad, he was like, 10, Race was 8), found him curled up in an alleyway sobbing. They took him in. Can you maybe... write a lil on it?
Of course, my love!
Here we are, let me know if you like it!
Race was shivering by the garbage can. He was wrapped up in an old tarp that someone had thrown out. It smelled like old bananas and cheap cologne. He knew it was about to start raining. The clouds were swirling over him and he cuddled up even more, whimpering when he felt his broken wrist again. He sniffled and began to cry again, wishing his daddy would come and find him and apologize. Maybe he would take him home and give him a nice warm blanket and the soup that mama used to make.
But the poor child knew that would never happen. He just wanted to be warm and safe and now he was terrified the monsters in the dark would come and get him. Just swallow him whole like he was nothing.
So he just started crying. Daddy said crying was for babies. He said Race shouldn’t be crying because he had things other kids didn’t. But the boy couldn’t stop, hiccuping and fisting at his cheeks.
The poor kid tried to close his eyes, but he sobbed even harder when he remembered the way his father had looked at him. The way the man had charged at him with that broken beer bottle, how the eight year old had to climb out the window to get away. He knew something bad would’ve happened. Something really bad. Still, for some reason, he wanted to go back. Maybe he would at least be warm.
He wished he could watch his favorite television shows, where the kids always went home to the parents who he couldn’t ever see the faces off, but they’d always scoop up the kids like him and hug them and the kids were always so happy. Instead, he was sure the darkness would come for him as the rain began to fall.
But someone tapped on his tarp, making him gasp and scramble away. “I’m sorry! I’m sorry!” he wailed. “I’m sorry, I’ll be quiet!”
“No, no,” another boy assured, his flaming red hair sticking to his forehead because of the rain. “It’s okay! I'm sorry… I’m Albert, who are you?”
The little boy shook his head. “I’m sorry,” he whimpered again.
“No, what’s your name? My papa and I saw you and we thought you needed help, can we help you?”
Race stared at him with wide blue eyes, his pale face made the color even more haunting and vibrant. “H-help?” he asked.
The man behind Albert shushed him and took off his giant jacket, taking Race’s tarp off of him and sighed when he found the child in only a pair of ripped underwear. He gently scooped the boy up and wrapped him in his jacket, holding him in one arm and keeping a hand wrapped around Albert’s to guide him home.
The little blond boy was too tired to do anything but cry and cuddle into the warmth. He whimpered and gripped tightly at the jacket. And before he knew it, he was in a warm bath, the water making his skin feel tingly as Albert rushed in with too many bath toys and the old man with the fading red hair gently washed the boy. Race yawned as Albert splashed a rubber duck around in front of his new friend. “This is Spongie! He loves water! And this is Klive, his arch nemesis! You wanna play?”
Race stared at the duckies, barely even able to understand the words being spoken to him. He was too relaxed at the hands massaging shampoo into his golden curls. He was wearing swim trunks that he didn’t recognize and he felt cold and hot all at once. “Daddy?”
“Don’t worry, a leanbh,” the old man whispered in a thick accent Race had never heard before. “We can get you back to your daddy, do you know where he is?”
“He was real mad at me,” Race whimpered as more tears started to fall down his face. “He hurt my arm…”
The old man nodded. “Yeah, I can see that, don’t try to move it. We’re gonna call some very nice people who can help us.”
Albert began to put on a whole story for Race. “And then Klive goes like this!” And Race laughed tiredly, leaning into the old man taking care of him. “Yeah, he’s goofy. You like him?” The littler boy nodded.
“Yeah… can we play again?” Race asked as his eyes began to slide closed.
Albert frowned. “Is he okay, Pa?”
The old man nodded. “Yeah… he just needs some rest. It’s okay, now,” he whispered. “Close your eyes, child.”
Race couldn’t fight against that soft command. He let his eyes close, hoping that he would wake up and be warm.

did your dad live with you while you were growing up? you said draxum was kind of based on your dad and i couldn't remember if you ever said that your parents got divorced or separated
my parents are unfortunately still married and probably will be forever. but functionally they're KIND OF separated. like, my dad lives full time in Nigeria and has for as long as i can remember. he only came home for a few months out of the year growing up, usually around christmas or summer, but not always.
so he didn't live with us, but i never felt abandoned cause him being gone was how it always was for me. so i was like, ehhh its normal my dad is just away on business stuff :)
my older siblings feel a bit differently tho, cause apparently he used to live with us full time. i don't really blame him for leaving cause the way my mom treats him is horrible, but at the same time i don't blame my siblings for feeling abandoned cause like. yea he kinda did just get up and go huh. it sucked so he Hit Da Bricks. unfortunately part of hitting da bricks meant leaving all of his kids behind! which was probably for the best because he was apparently very physically abusive at first (i didnt find that out till i was like 14) which i've heard is a Nigerian parenting thing.
he also sent us like most of his money too, but our mom never told us that and always complained about not getting enough money from him. meanwhile he sent everything he had and lived in poor conditions because to him being a good dad is when u provide financially and physically for ur kids. situation was fucked and i could talk about it for hours.
idk as shitty as things were, it could have been way worse considering who my parents are.

While it's not unheard of for there to be only one baby/puppy, most Hellhound pregnancies do result in litters, with most resulting in two to three puppies, but four is also fairly common. Anything more than four is somewhat rarer, but not unheard of.
A lot of the pups in the Hellhound orphanages are actually from bigger litters, because when the parents can't care for all the pups, some - usually the smallest/weakest ones, will just be placed into the system, if not just abandoned somewhere.

New Witch (Curse Words)
This is a Curse Words fanfic. Original story by @derinthescarletpescatarian.
Next
CW: abandonment of a child, mention of parent death, witches.
=-=
It was noon on a hot sunny day, everyone was either helping in the kitchen or doing something that did not require going out under the sun.
Pietro was in the middle of a knitting project he had been putting off for some time now. While he loves this hobby, truth be told, no sane (or insane) person in that city would put a sweater on, still, he was bored of making capes for random objects, so whatever.
There was a weak, fast knock on the door. It could only mean two things, either a client or a new witch. Pietro hoped it was the first, sighed, got up and couldn't help but close his eyes at the strong light after opening the door.
“Hello,” he said, blinking several times and wiping some tears away.
“A-ah, hello…” the woman at the front door said, her shoulders shrinking into themselves while she awkwardly held the wrist of a small girl of whom Pietro tried to guess the age out of habit. Seven years old. She was quietly looking down, not seeming to mind the uncomfortable way the woman was holding her. Pietro stared at the girl’s hand with curiosity, since he had never seen someone wearing gloves for no reason.
A new witch then. “Would you like to enter and have some tea?”
She searched his every exposed skin, before looking behind his shoulders and looking for someone else, “Are there… I mean…”
“Yes. There are witches inside” he said, wondering what would be her reaction upon actually seeing his witch mark and whether this would make her give up. “May I help you with anything?”
“Is it true?” the woman asked in a desperate voice, staring at him with reddened eyes, there were deep dark circles under her eyes.
“What is tru-”
“I swear I'm not the kind of woman would….” she glanced at the girl, “make this kind of… decision. But I have a life too! It was already so hard to lose my sister. I loved her, even after everything, I would even take care of her daughter as if she was mine but…”
“But she got a curse,” Pietro completed, he knew where the talking was going, and truthfully he wasn't in the mood for it. It was hot. He wanted to go back in and drink a glass of water.
“I wouldn't be like this if that was the case, I'm not bad! I wouldn't come here if she had just got cu- this thing into her. I… I don't want to hate a child, much less my sister's daughter but she… that thing in her killed my sister. I'm sure of it, I can't just… I have to let her go. So I implore you… is it true?”
Pietro shouldn't have opened the door. He should've just called Milena and let her deal with emotional people as always, but here we were so he let out a consoling smile, “We will take good care of her, yes. There is no need to worry, she will be safe.”
The woman nodded. Suddenly getting lost in thought, she told herself once again this was for the better, that this was what her sister would want, that she has no choice. She has no choice at all.
Still, what should she do now? Should she talk to the girl before leaving? Should she say something to the man in front of her about her niece? Like things she likes or something? Would she be able to leave her behind after talking about her like this? Should she say goodbye? Should she tell her that she doesn't hate her, but she has no choice. Does she have a choice?
The girl did not complain as the woman unconsciously gripped her wrist harder, nor did she reach out to her when, after taking a deep breath, the woman opened her hand, turned around, and walked away without looking back.
The witch just turned around too and watched.
“She won't be back,” Pietro said to the girl after a minute or so. He really isn't the one who knows the way of words to new witches. “You'll live with us from now on.”
The girl didn't move or say anything, just kept watching her aunt walk away. The trail down the hill was clear so it would take about twenty minutes before the woman completely vanished from sight.
There was no need to stop the new witch from watching, so Pietro walked back in, fetched his knitting tools, and sat down at the front door, not letting on his face how much he hated the sun on his face. He didn't know his way with words, so the least he could do was to stay by her side.
The minutes went by, the woman had long vanished, Milena had glanced at the two on the door once and made sure not to let anyone disturb, the sunlight had fortunately been covered for a passing cloud and Pietro could almost focus on the knitting. Almost.
Is she still waiting for her? He wondered. The girl seemed to understand what was happening, but maybe it was just Pietro's wishful thinking. She was young, there was a limit of how much she can get without someone telling her.
“What does your curse do?” Pietro wondered out loud, like an insensible idiot. “Sorry you don’t-”
The girl raised her gloved hand and slightly touched his shoulder, making him flinch away and dropping the needles. The girl’s eyes widened at his reaction, she took a step back and held her hands close to her chest, trying to look small and harmless.
“No, no. I’m not hurt or scared, don't need to worry,” Pietro tried, carefully not touching the freezing cold spot on his shoulder. “I just wasn’t expecting the cold, that’s all. I’m just surprised.”
The girl looked up warily, making Pietro self conscious about his facial expressions.
“I’m Pietro,” he tried, stretching out his hand for a handshake, which he assumed was the better way to show her he wasn’t afraid of her touch, even when he partially is.
After looking at him for a long while she ever so slowly touched his hand, a small freezing touch at first and in the lack of reaction from the older witch she gave him a freezing handshake. As soon as he was out of her sight he would heat some water for a bath.
“What’s you name?” he asked, grateful the girl had let go of his hand.
“Ember,” she said quietly, her voice was hoarse as if she had a cold.
“Nice to meet you, Ember. Would you like a cup of tea?”
Ember glanced down the hill once again, closing her hands into fists for a few seconds before looking back up and nodding. “Thank you.”

aita for abandoning my 10yo child?
(these are ocs i want to turn into a video game, uh tw theres a lot of religious symbolism and mention of child abandonment)
i know it sounds bad, but hear me out. my husband(46m) and i(43f) have a kid(10unspecified) who we adopted when they were abandoned on our doorstep as a 3 month old baby. for the last 10 years weve raised them as if they were our child, instilling into them the proper values of christianity, teaching them on how to best follow god, etc.
however, about a month ago, my husband and i were told that they were actually the devils child. i dont mean that metaphorically, either. i mean that they are literally the child of satan, lucifer, the devil, the king of hell, whatever you want to call them. now, we were also told that to continue to look after them would be to disobey god, so we left in the middle of the night, abandoning our child. i was also made aware, more recently, that the servants of god, the angels, have been trying to kill them, and the servants of satan, the demons, have been trying to protect them. my husband has not been told anything, out of his own free will.
so, tumblr, aita for leaving our child to be destroyed by god?

DEAN
Am I speaking a language you're not getting here? Dad and I were working a job in Ohio, she was finishing up college. We went out for a coupla weeks.
DEAN
(Hesitantly) You know, I'm still really involved. With my dad's work.

(gavin and crowley)
CROWLEY (answering phone) Squirrel. I hope you were nice to your father.
DEAN (driving, on phone) What? Shut up. Look, we got the Blade.
10x03 Soul Survivor
DEAN: You notice I tried to get as far away from you as possible? Away from your whining, your complaining. I chose the King of Hell over you! Maybe I was just … tired of babysitting you. Or always having to yank your lame ass out of the fire since …
[Dean laughs.]
DEAN: Forever. Or maybe … Maybe it was the fact that my mother would still be alive if it wasn’t for you. That your very existence sucked the life out of my life!
SAM: This isn’t my brother talking.
DEAN: You never had a brother! Just an excuse for not manning up. But guess what: I quit.
SAM: No. No, you don’t. You don’t get to quit. We don’t get to quit in this family! This family is all we have ever had!
DEAN: Well, then, we got nothin’.
SAM: Would you say that to Dad?
DEAN: Dad? Oh, there’s a prize. There’s a man who brainwashed us into wasting our lives fighting his losing battle!
10x10 The Hunter Games
10x16 Paint It Black
10x21 Dark Dynasty
(eldon and his father)
11x03 The Bad Seed
11x09 O Brother Where Art Thou?
Sam: You’re sitting there with the Book of the Damned and the means to read every word, and you think I’m going to set you free? Do I look crazy?
Rowena: Well, you do have unresolved issues with your domineering older brother and the abandonment by your father.
Sam: You know what? Just get back to work! All right.
11x18 Hell’s Angel
11x21 All In the Family
Dean: Here's the thing, um...Chuck... And I mean no disrespect. Um... I'm guessing you came back to help with the Darkness, and that's great. That's, you know – It's fantastic. Um, but you've been gone a – a... long, long time. And there's so much crap that has gone down on the Earth for thousands of years. I mean, plagues and wars, slaughters. And you were, I don't know, writing books, going to fan conventions. Were you even aware, o-or did you just tune it out?
Chuck: I was aware, Dean.
Dean: But you did nothing. And, again, I-I'm not trying to piss you off. You know, I don't want to turn into a pillar of salt.
Chuck: I actually… didn't do that.
Dean: Okay. People – People pray to you. People build churches for you. They fight wars in your name, and you did nothing.
Chuck: You're frustrated. I get it. Believe me, I was hands-on – Real hands-on for, wow, ages. I was so sure if I kept stepping in, teaching, punishing, that these beautiful creatures that I created... would grow up. But it only stayed the same. And I saw that I needed to step away and let my baby find its way. Being overinvolved is no longer parenting. [Sighs] It's enabling.
Dean: But it didn't get better.
Chuck: Well, I've been mulling it over. And from where I sit, I think it has.
Dean: Well, from where I sit, it feels like you left us and you're trying to justify it.
Chuck: I know you had a complicated upbringing, Dean, but don't confuse me with your dad.
12x02 Mamma Mia
(with action lines from production draft)
Dean: Sleep okay?
Mary: I had dreams all night. I haven’t had dreams for… thirty years.
Dean: Good dreams?
Mary: Stuff I’d forgotten about. Funny things your dad did. He was a great father.
Dean considers this. Almost takes up the topic. Thinks better of it. Smiles a vague smile.
(transcript)
MARY: Very. The thing is, Hunters... no matter how good they are, they all end up the same way.
DEAN: You know when you died, it changed Dad. I mean, he was Hell-bent on finding out what happened. The Hunter life, it just took him over. I guess I was the same. But Sammy – Sammy, he was different. He wanted out. He went to school. He went to Stanford.
MARY: Sam had a chance to get out? And he came back?
DEAN: When Dad disappeared, Sam and I looked around, and something became very clear. That the only thing we had in this world – the only thing, aside from this car – was each other.
(production draft version)
MARY: Very.
He smiles. But Mary doesn’t– she knows the truth–
Mary: The thing is… Hunters... No matter how good they are? They all end up the same way.
Dean (teasing): Rich and happy?
But Mary’s not in a joking mood–
Mary: I mean, the life… Sometimes it’s exciting… The adrenaline rush. Just wish you and Sam hadn’t signed up.
DEAN (with difficulty): When you… Died… Dad changed. He was Hell-bent on finding out what happened. The Hunter life took him over. I guess I’m a lot like him, if I’m bein’ honest, and I took to it. But Sammy. Different guy. He wanted out. Went to Stanford.
(off her startled look)
I know, right? Dad could never get his head around it.
MARY (incredulous): Sam had a chance to get out? And he… came back?
DEAN: When… Dad disappeared… Sam and I looked around, and things got real clear. The only thing Sam and I had in the world… The only thing. Except for this car… Was… Each other.
She stares, realizing the truth in this, as tears appear.
SAM: Dad's journal. His writing, his words. Helped me fill in some blanks, answer some questions I didn't know I had. And, you know, it – it – it keeps him with us, sort of.
MARY: Thank you.
12x08 LOTUS
12x13 Family Feud
ROWENA Uh, to be honest, I'm not sure. I was forced to leave, you see.
GAVIN Oh. That's too bad. L-Left him with his father, did you?
ROWENA Well...
GAVIN You left him alone?!
ROWENA He was eight, he seemed very enterprising.
12x17 The British Invasion
12x21 There’s Something about Mary
(transcript)
TONI: You're being realigned. Soon, you won't differentiate between your thinking and ours.
All of your thoughts and actions will come from us.
MARY: What are you talking about?
TONI: Well, not about this illusion of you that you hold on to. The perfect life. Loving husband and kids. But it never really was perfect, was it? All those secrets you kept from your beloved John – that you were a Hunter. That you invited Azazel to visit when he spared John's life.
MARY: How do you –
TONI: I have sources, Mary. Everywhere. After you died, your beloved John was a man slowly going mad, searching for revenge. What? Your boys didn't tell you? The drunken rages? The weeks of abandonment? Child abuse, really. It's no wonder they're damaged. So enough with the fairy tale. We are returning you to a more pure version of yourself – Mary Campbell, natural born killer.
(production draft version)
Toni: You're being… realigned. Soon, you won't differentiate between your thinking and ours.
All of your thoughts and actions will come from us.
Mary can only stare, stunned.
Toni: In a way, we’re doing you a favor. Putting you back in touch with who you really are.
Mary: What are you talking about?
Toni: Well, not about this illusion of you that you hold on to….the “perfect life,” the “loving husband and kids…”
(then)
But it never really was perfect, was it? The secrets you kept from your beloved John – that you were a Hunter. That you invited Azazel to visit.
Mary: How do you…
Toni: You left your sons without a mother. Without a father, for that matter. You “beloved John” was a man slowly going mad, searching for revenge.
(off Mary’s stare)
Oh, your boys didn't tell you? The drunken rages? The weeks of abandonment? Child abuse, really. No wonder they're… damaged.
Mary stares, stunned, trying to process.
Toni: So enough with the fairy tale. We’re returning you to a more pure version of yourself – Mary Campbell, natural born killer.
13x02 The Rising Son
BARTENDER I hated my old man. I ran away myself. See, my mom would never stick up for me. But… (sighs) you know kids. No matter what, they still want the old man’s approval. Well, that’s how it was with me, just…
DEAN You know, that’s, uh, that’s how it was with me, too.
13x07 War of the Worlds
13x13 Devil’s Bargain
13x18 Bring Em Back Alive
SAM: Gabriel, you have to dig yourself out of this hole. Look, I know you think it's safer inside. No more torture. No more pain. No more expectations. I've been there. You were nothing like your family. You sure as hell weren't like your dad. Me either. And just like you, I got out. Or I-I thought I got out. But then... then my family needed me. And this is my life. No matter how many times I tried to fight it, this is what I was put here to do. This is where I make the world a better place. And sure, yeah, hookers in Monte Carlo sounds great, but your family needs you.
13x22 Exodus
14x02 Gods and Monsters
14x07 Unhuman Nature
Dean: Well, bait and beer. You are a cheap date. This certainly isn't Tahiti.
Jack: You once told me you and your father did the exact same thing. It was your happiest memory of him.
Dean: I didn't say that.
Jack: It was how you said it. I could tell.
14x12 Prophet and Loss
(transcript)
DEAN I know I wasn’t always the greatest brother to you.
SAM Dean, you were the one who was always there for me. The only one. I mean, you practically raised me.
DEAN I know things got dicey… you know, with dad… the way he was. And I just… I didn’t always look out for you the way that I should’ve. I mean, I had my own stuff, you know. In order to keep the peace, it probably looked like I took his side quite a bit. Sometimes when I was… when I was away, you know it wasn’t ‘cause I just ran out, right? Dad would… he would send me away when I really pissed him off. I think you knew that.
(blue pages)
DEAN It’s just that… I know I wasn’t always the greatest big brother.
Sam stares over at him.
SAM Dean, you were the one who was always there for me. You raised me.
DEAN Yeah, well, things could still get dicey…with dad. The way he was. And I didn’t always look out for you like I should’ve. I mean, I had my own stuff goin’ on with him, so to keep the peace I’d– it must’ve looked like I took his side…
SAM I was just a kid…
DEAN And sometimes I wasn’t around at all. You know I didn’t just run out, right? Well, sometimes I did. But Dad would send me away when I really pissed him off; I think you knew that.
14x19 Jack in the Box
(transcript)
Dean: She could handle a machete. She could handle a vampire. She could handle our old man. She couldn't cook worth a damn. Mom, you weren't here long enough. But we're so glad for the time that we had. Goodbye, Mom.
(transcript)
Sam: We know that Mom's not sitting on a cloud playing a harp. She's in a good place. Or she's in a great place. She's with Dad.
Dean: Hmm.
(writer’s draft)
Sam: And we know Mom’s not sitting on a cloud with a harp. But she’s in a good place. In her personal heaven with her best memories.
Dean: Fair enough.
15x02 Raising Hell
BELPHEGOR: Yeah, yeah, not gonna happen. Souls cast down to Hell? That's the end of it. Heaven can't take 'em.
SAM: That's not true. Our dad made it to Heaven after he was in Hell.
DEAN: And Bobby Singer.
15x08 Our Father, Who Aren’t in Heaven
SAM: But if Michael helped Chuck overpower Amara, then maybe he also knows how to lock him up.
CASTIEL: Perhaps, but even if we could get to him, he wouldn't tell us.
DEAN: I don't know. But I mean, if my dad kept me locked up in a cage for 10 years, I might be looking to get some payback. It's worth a shot.
ADAM: The point is parents keep secrets, right? Does it hurt to ask the question?
MICHAEL: Yes! It would. It would mean that I doubt him. The good son, the favorite, doubts his father.
ADAM: You still care about that? After he left you in the Cage?
15x13 Destiny’s Child
ALT!DEAN: We actually don't drink much of this stuff.
ALT!SAM: Dad won't keep it in the house. He only likes his "private-label Scotch." He spoils us.
SAM: Wait, your dad is... still around?
DEAN: And he "spoils" you?
(script: Sam and Dean stare.)
ALT!SAM: Well, he did. We don't know where he is now. Uh, we all went through the rift together, but, uh, guess we got separated.
ALT!DEAN: Mm. To Dad.
(Not in script:) ALT!SAM: Best guy ever.
(script: They clink bottles. Sam and Dean are staring, dumbfounded.)
SAM: HunterCorp?
ALT!DEAN: Yeah. Well, got to hand it to the old man, huh? Pretty much built up an entire empire from scratch.

Modern AU angst fic featuring Kylo who ends up living with Luke only because neither Leia nor Han want to take care of him after their divorce. They both claim they love him, but neither have the time, apparently. They would rather be the aunt and uncle that drop in now and again with expensive gifts.
Luke tries to do the best he can but he's not a father figure, he wants to be the cool chill uncle, not the father figure his nephew so desperately wants. Inadvertently ends up pushing his nephew away when he tries to reach out for a familial connection.
Featuring loneliness, feelings of abandonment, questionable parenting decisions, anger at society, self discovery and changing indentures, with perhaps a light at the end of the tunnel with Tai and a found family in the Knights of Ren.
