I picked vulpes bc foxes, didn’t play much and abandoned the game p early on tbh, I really wish they’d make a port for the switch or something that’s free to play

think a lot of people feel that way; we all want a remake (they could call it re:union χ lol) but it seems unlikely at the moment

plus there’s a risk that they’ll do the chain of memories to re:chain of memories thing and update the graphics to 3D and with voice acting but without changing the central gameplay mechanic that really irritated people. the thing is that in both cases that gameplay mechanic is kind of also part of the story. but imo not so central that it couldn’t possibly be tweaked

Are you gonna adopt one of the dragon hatchlings in your DND group? Heck, why not adopt all of them, go off, go full how to train your dragon!

Jokes on you, we’ve adopted them all. Their names are Thuriril, Sharlyn and Yvonne. We managed to convince them that our Triton Rogue who just....eats and  bites everything is their mother. Which is a convincing argument to make with newborns who’ve never seen the adult form of their species.

They speak draconic, but we’ve taught them some common and Diethre even managed to work with them to get them to obey hand signals as well as life saving commands like ‘Stay’ or ‘Go hide’ or ‘Come here’

We had to leave them behind for a bit to head to Waterdeep after the cultists because we were worried that traveling with our labador sized dragon children would be a bit on the nose for the stealth we were doing. So we left them for a while with a guy I think was named Thurn or something like that to mind while we’re gone that we trust and also Riptide the Triton threatened because she has adopted these babies and they are her terrible children now.

Hey I really like Explorers Of Death, along with all your other Pokepastas, and it kinda made me want to write a PMD pokepasta of my own in which the protagonist actually wins and walks away from the spooky and creepy stuff, would that be okay? I don’t want to write something that would be taken as mocking/rude to you since it’s kind of the opposite of EOD

Im interested in FFXIV because of your comics, I've never played an FF game before, so do you have any tips?

Ahh I’m still pretty new to the game myself but I do have some pointers! (Based on some things I wish I would have known when I was first playing hahaha)

Don’t be afraid to look up guides when you’re first starting out. The game can be pretty overwhelming, especially if you’ve never played an MMO before. You can learn tips on how to set up your button and screen configurations, and also learn the best combination of skills you can use in battle (AKA your rotation) to be as effective at your job as possible. I also prefer to look up guides for dungeons rather than going into them blind, but that’s a personal choice.

(This is based on something really dumb I did when I first started out.) When you complete a quest, it might look like you’re receiving multiple rewards. Sometimes you are, but sometimes you have to go through the list, select the reward you want from the bunch, and hit confirm. I left soooo many sidequests uncompleted because I didn’t select a particular reward, and assumed when I couldn’t hit confirm that I wasn’t high-level enough to finish the quest. (Though the word OPTIONS is literally in all caps right next to the items.) Don’t be like Z’ahra me. Be smart.

Always be on the lookout for quests with a blue symbol. The blue symbol indicates that the quest will unlock something for you in-game, including the ability to ride a mount. (Yes it is a missable quest because??? Uh???) Blue missions can also unlock dungeons and quests for your job that will teach you new abilities.

Speaking of job quests... do them hahaha. You’ll unlock a new job quest every five levels or so that you gain for the job. These quests unlock really important abilities that you need to get the best move-sets out of your character. 

When you complete the level 30 quest for your class (like let’s say you become a level 30 thamaturge), you will obtain a soul stone that will allow you to upgrade yourself to a Black Mage. You can’t actually become a black mage until you equip your soul stone in the Character menu. If you don’t have it equipped, you are locking yourself out of a lot of skills that you need to survive or hurt things... so please do it hahahaha. Don’t let yourself become a level 50 thamaturge like someone I encountered in Praetorium. Pls. You both deserve so much better.

When you have the chance... do the Hildibrand side quests.

I just hope I can pet or play with my Pokémon in the remakes, Gen 4 was the Gen I started with and I long to play with my fave Pokémon like Pachirisu and Buizel

Gen 4 had the Amity Park feature so they might expand on that and allow you to interact with them more!

I bought RF4 for the switch and have been putting of Water Ruins to up my fishing skills and such and I just fished up a legendary scale I had no idea you could do that or what it’s for help
