these two songs are phenomenal, as is mitski's album "the land is inhospitable and so are we" i actually wrote a brief analysis on my love mine all mine as a love song and breakup song. the feeling it invokes in me is second to none, what a beautiful song.

i actually listen to this song to fall asleep, but i can assure you that i also cry every time i watch those videos on the internet with this song playing in the background. it perfectly encapsulates a feeling of hope and loss. beautifully done. minari was a phenomenal as a (real) movie lover, i love when movies have tracks like this that so clearly stand out from the soundtrack and score.

i haven't watched as many movies as i'd have liked in october, it has been an emotional month to say the least. but, now im on anti-depressants so our regularly scheduled slaying is back. movies will be rated a 1-5 star based on how much i enjoyed it! and NO NOT EVERY MOVIE IS FROM THIS YEAR OR EVEN THIS DECADE <3

valorant (playing occasionally as i am not very good, but i have alot of skins so yipee)

overwatch (i have 1600 hours in the game unfortunately. addiction is real guys)

fall guys (just recently started playing with my friends again, idk why anyone wouldnt want to play this its free and fun. theres a hatsune miku skin in the game like CMON)

genshin impact (im actually really invested in fontaine's story, if i had multiple hours a day to game i would do all the story quests and things but again, im so b u s y. still farming for arataki itto, pls come home)

bloons td6 (i've somehow racked up 60 hours on this game...its so fun...i love it...)

lastly, my october hyperfixation was...

horror movies and true crime!! i watched over 100 hours of movies, video essays, podcasts, and documentaries relating to horror and true crime. i'm officially burnt out of it though, so i will be back next month to once again happily share my interests!! byeee

Noted English Scholar Holligay: can you explain to me why Lena's support of West Ham United is important, perhaps even fundamental, to understanding her character and position within the greater HON HON HON story?

UNFORTUNATELY FOR YOU I'M GOING TO JSUT TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT THIS BECAUSE I DO FEEL STRONGLY ABOUT IT

It's always amazing to me the blind spots people can have when creating a character, and while we have much to thank Michael Chu for, up to and including his defense of Lena as a lesbian and not available for men, his assertion that Lena would be a Chelsea fan is one of the fuck-stupidest things I've ever heard, and I can hardly tell a ~footie team~ from a hole in the ground. He picked Chelsea, because Chelsea is one of two teams Americans know from the UK: That, and Manchester United. 80% of Americans can do no better than those two teams and until I wasted FAR TOO MUCH of my brief time on this earth trying to figure out who i thought Lena's team would be, it would have in fact been the sum total of my knowledge as well i'm not trying to play Cool American here I am very basic bitch bog-standard makes tea like a fuck uncool American and I'm fine with that.

But, my darling, we must go back in time. back to the original intentions of the 6th circle of my own personal hell, keeping me consumed in my own flaming tomb for eternity, Overwatch.

When we started this little endeavor, weirdly, the main characters were NOT the old fucks who had failed the world before. And the mainest of these main characters, who is still the face of the game to this day, is Miss Lena "Tracer" Oxton, a former RAF pilot who was shotgunned through time, leaving her with a permanent temporal unmooring that required a medical device. She was cheerful but willing to kill people if the situation called for it, a tenacious and funny little butchy thing.

She was also, distinctly and intentionally, a working class Eastender.

I did not mean to love her, but I very much did. A N Y W A Y, the actress they picked couldn't do the cockney accent they were asking for and people got in a snit even though oh my god who the fuck cares y'all jesus hopping christ, and anyway over time they have walked back her being an old school cockney gal which, j'refuse, because I love that for her.

But in the time in which *I* am speaking, we're still in Original Recipe Lena time. So all this applies.

Now, I am not saying I am the ONLY right answer but let me tell you how I got to the answer *I* did, and all the reasons why it's a million times better than Chelsea.

I asked a British person for a team on the East End of London. Everyone calm down, I know that's a bizarre place to start. It took me writing one whole email and waiting like six hours for a response, but I was very brave. She gave me I think...three options? Then i did an even scarier thing.

I used google to read about these teams.

Having extremely strong feelings about Lena and her specific view of life, a very very old football club with a very dedicated (and occasionally extremely out of control) fanbase RICH WITH PASSIONS and at least when the fuck i have tried to get tickets to a game either for myself or others, CONTINUALLY FUCKING SOLD OUT ONLINE, even though they lose as much as they win over the last ten or more years, really FIT for me with her. It's about LONDON and TRADITION and more specifically the EAST END and HOPE and CAMARADERIE and for a character I think of being very defined by place in a way i don't think of Angela or even Fareeha as being, it was important to me.

BUT CLEARLY NOT TO MICHAEL CHU

🌃Chelsea Streets🌃 ~ If we could go on a vacation together, where would we go?: Truthfully, I think the both of us would be fine going pretty much anywhere! He’s not picky, and 90% of the locations in Overwatch look absolutely STUNNING, so I can’t complain much either!! I think, at least for one time, we’d go to Paris! It’s a gorgeous area, it’s super populated so we’re guaranteed to see some of our fans, and it is supposed to be the city of romance~ The both of us would have such a blast playing up that city’s reputation, acting overly (and jokingly) romantic in everything we do. We could do that Lady and the Tramp thing with the spaghetti there too, though we’d probably start cracking up before we could even eat the noodle lmao. Ugh, and being able to see it all lit-up at night??? Man~

👍The Good Part👍 ~ What made me realize I wanted to be with Lúcio: Let’s see… I’ve had him on the list for a long time, so the details on why he got added are a bit blurry. I believe what sealed the deal was due to the first time I watched a compilation of his voice-lines. Just hearing how much of a dork he was, but also how passionate he was~ His passion for music, his passion for freedom, his passion for life. His energy is just adorable, and it’s contagious.

4-5pm, Room 25ABC: Writing the Rules of Magic panel – This was an idea I had when conceiving of Hex Wives: There is more science fiction and fantasy on TV and in the movies than ever before, and while these genres may seem like opportunities for a writer’s imagination to run wild, in fact their stories benefit from rules and parameters. These help to ground a writer’s fancies and create a recognizable world for the characters. But coming up with the rules of magic and science fiction is more difficult than it seems. These professionals, who have created detailed, grounded worlds, tell how they did it. If they were to finish well adrift of the title winners this season, the future of Thomas Tuchel informative post Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be under odds on liverpool not winning the league and the pressure is on both managers to deliver the goods.

Hi everyone, Chelsea here, and today I’m here to talk about my prediction for Voltron season 5 or 6: Are Keith’s parents finally gonna appear in the series?

Well, we’ve already saw Keith’s dad but we didn’t see his mother, maybe either season 5 or 6 can give us a chance to finally see her in person. But the real question is: Are Keith’s parents still alive somewhere?

Ok, let’s break it down here, I personally do believe that Akira and Daniel(those are my name suggestions for Keith’s parents, by the way) are still alive somewhere. I once looked at Keith’s wiki page and it said that they’re not deceased, so this means that they could still be alive.

But where are they? Well, I predict the fact that Akira and Daniel could be leading a group of rouge space pirates who are NOT part of the Voltron coalition, these pirates could be a lot similar to the rebels but they don’t know about Voltron until one of the pirates reveals about the Paladins through video cameras they carry for spying.

These pirates might be be something like how they dress in Junkertown from Overwatch, take Junkrat for example:
