Summary: It was an honor for Mingyu to collaborate with a well-known magazine. But this job made him realize that love at first sight is real.

Mingyu's got a face that screams "bad boy," and he's given up trying to argue otherwise. He's got that classic playboy look, and an occupation of playboy, a photographer, no less! So, when he tries to convince people he's got an old soul and a sentimental side, they just give him the side-eye. Mingyu's decided to let his looks do the talking, after all, it's all about that first impression, right?

He's snapped shots of so many celebrities, and they all ooze glamour and charisma. Last time, he was working with Cha Eunwoo, an idol-actor who's now a buddy thanks to being the same age. But there's been zero post-work chit-chat with any of his models, except for Eunwoo. So, it raised an eyebrow when he waltzed up to the editor asking for your digits.

"I'll pass along her management's info," the editor said, conveniently hiding the fact that he's got a bit of a soft spot for you after that last shoot. Okay, maybe it's not just a "bit" anymore, it's a full-blown crush.

It started when Mingyu gets the call that he's in charge of the photo shoot for a rising starlet, Jang Y/n. It's your first time gracing a big-time magazine, so Mingyu tries to do some sleuthing about you. Mostly cast as a villain or a bit unhinged, your online pics aren't exactly flattering. Mingyu's scratching his head trying to figure out what style you'd vibe with.

When the big day approached, Mingyu's armed with a couple of style ideas for your shoot, hoping they'll match your vibe and brand. He's deep in discussion with the editor when your manager shows up.

"Y/n has those magnetic and charismatic aura that makes people think she's a tough . But she's really a soft and timid person," your manager spills the beans, enlightening Mingyu and the editor.

"It'll be good to show the side that people hasn't known about. Let's roll with these," the editor picks out two mood boards, going for dark academia and chic stylings.

And your manager wasn't kidding. You're like a total 180 from the roles you usually play. You're not some evil assassin, psycho girlfriend, or creepy stalker. If Mingyu could describe it, you're just radiant. You step into the studio with a grin plastered on your face, and your hair's practically glowing. Mingyu swears, your eyes are like a novel waiting to be read, and he's itching to turn the pages.

Just the night before, Mingyu decided to check out one of your films - the one where you played the mad stalker. He was blown away by your acting skills, even if you looked more like a scruffy vagabond. And now here you are, dressed to the nines, portraying a powerhouse career woman in front of him. As soon as Mingyu looks through the viewfinder, he sees his future. Love at first sight might be pushing it, but let's just say he's smitten.

"Could you lean in a bit, Y/n?" Mingyu asks, second-guessing if that was the smartest move ever. You lean towards the camera with this sly grin, and Mingyu's heart does somersaults.

Mingyu lets out a dramatic sigh, "Let's call it a wrap." He mumbles and dashes over to the monitor, trying to cool off his racing heart. And this is just the first outfit; there are four more to go.

"Is everything alright?" You ask the crew as you step onto the set with your last outfit. "I've never worn something like this before," you admit. Mingyu shoots you a reassuring smile, "You look stunning, absolutely stunning," he assures you.

The rest of the crew is in awe, and you playfully cover your face as if you're blushing. But Mingyu, with his photographer's eye, spots a genuine flush of pink on your cheeks and ears. Maybe he's got a touch of it too, but he's too busy being in awe of your beauty to care.

"It would be amazing if you could strike a pose like Ma Jooahn," the assistant director suggests, referring to one of your past roles as a ruthless assassin. You slip right into character. Your eyes shoot daggers, your smile vanishes, and you look ready to take on the world.

"I'll just pretend there's a pesky fly to squash right here," you mutter while turning to your right, earning a laugh from the crew.

"I wanna be that fly," one of the crew members chimes in, making you burst into laughter and breaking character. Mingyu shakes his head, looking at the monitor beside him; his weakness is a woman with wit and grace. You seem to have both in spades.

"You're absolutely smitten, buddy." Eunwoo clinked his can against Mingyu's, chuckling at his friend's infatuation with you. For almost an hour, Mingyu's gaze hadn't strayed from your portrait.

"Come on, focus on your work," Eunwoo urged, playfully nudging Mingyu, who seemed a bit unsteady.

"I am!" Mingyu retorted, gesturing to his laptop, where he was diligently editing photos from your previous shoot. "Staring is also part of my job," he added with a smirk.

Eunwoo let out a dramatic sigh. "There's something you should know about her," he began, catching Mingyu's attention.

Mingyu's brow raised, then quickly furrowed. "What?" he inquired.

"Does she have a boyfriend?" Mingyu interjected, curiosity evident in his voice.

Eunwoo shrugged. "I'm not certain," he admitted. "But there's some gossip that floating around the actors."

Mingyu fixed Eunwoo with a steady gaze, silently urging him to continue.

"She's a mom," Eunwoo dropped the bombshell.

Mingyu's head drooped, disappointment evident on his face. "So what if she's a mom? Is she a widow? That just makes her even hotter, honestly! Ack—" Mingyu began to enthuse before Eunwoo playfully smacked his head.

"Come on! Seriously! I personally haven't worked with her, but some actors say she has a kid, or that she's often busy taking care of them, which might be why she hasn't taken on lead roles. But, i'm not sure either," Eunwoo explained, offering the tidbits he'd gathered.

Mingyu scoffed, "If you're not sure, don't spread it around."

Eunwoo rolled his eyes, a little surprised by Mingyu's strong reaction.

"You've got it bad, my friend," he teased, shaking his head.

After a few weeks, what was once a rumor turned into a nightmare for Kim Mingyu. Dispatch, a popular Korean media outlet, released photos of you with your daughter. Some of the pictures were taken in front of a daycare, park, and even a hospital. Mingyu isn't happy seeing your privacy violated by the media, especially as you're gaining more fame. But what Mingyu despises the most is that the pictures are real, with zero editing.

There are two possibilities:

1. You have a secret husband.

2. You're a widow with a child.

Mingyu is perfectly fine with the second possibility. He believes he's good with kids and loves the idea of being around them. But the first possibility? Dang, It hits Mingyu like a punch in the gut. After nearly a month of being your biggest fan, he can't believe he has to remain just a fan. He hasn't even mustered the courage to call you. His heart shattered before he could offer it to you.

Didn't Mingyu mention he's a very sentimental person? Oh yes, he certainly did.

"I'm sorry. Did I hear you correctly?" Mingyu asked during a phone call to the other person.

"We noticed you worked with Y/n on her last photoshoot sessions, so she might be comfortable with you," the other person, a representative from your management, explained to him.

Mingyu shook his head, "No, I mean... Did I hear... So, Y/n wants me to be the photographer for her release?"

"Yes, Mingyu. She believes in you for this release, and we want the best for her and her daughter."

Mingyu was left speechless after receiving the phone call. He immediately cleared his schedule for you after the call ended. He still remembered the tone of your management team as they stated, "We want to release a statement regarding the spreading rumors about our artist, Jang Y/n. She personally recommended you as the photographer. You know, the rumor is pretty sensitive for her, and the last thing we want is to make her uncomfortable during the photoshoot."

Mingyu couldn't stop smiling once he saw you arrive at the studio with your daughter in your arms. Mingyu guessed she might be 3 to 4 years old. Putting the rumor aside, your daughter is the cutest little human in the world.

"Thank you so much for accepting the request. It means a lot to me, Mr. Kim," you approached Mingyu after putting Jihan, your daughter's name, down.

Mingyu bowed, "No, it's an honor. Thank you so much for trusting me. And you can call me Mingyu, please be casual with me. No formality needed," he said to you and gave you a reassuring smile. Deep inside, he was the one who needed reassurance here, as his heart pounded like crazy.

"We're here today to shoot a beautiful portrait and video for our release. Be careful not to hurt yourself, let's work together for us," the director gave a brief direction before the photoshoot started.

Mingyu took beautiful pictures of you and Jihan. He stood behind the camera as they shot a video of you talking about Jihan, clearing up the misunderstandings.

"Jihan was almost three years old when I adopted her. I used to volunteer at the foster home when I met her, and she was so little. I found out that she's suffering from a physical disability due to harmful substances during her pregnancy."

"There's a long process in adopting her. I had to run a few tests to make sure I was an appropriate adopter, and I was so grateful that it didn't take longer time for me to finally have her."

"I actually didn't want to break this news, but the news broke itself, right? I just want to say that there's nothing wrong with having a kid, whether you're married or not. Everyone has a reason. Doing this interview is also hard for me, but I want to encourage all parents, single parents out there, that having a kid is not a sin but a blessing. And I'm very blessed to have Jihan."

Mingyu smiled as he saw Jihan, who was sitting behind you, playing with Legos. She now approached you to show you her Lego creation. "That's amazing, baby." His heart melted once he heard you compliment your daughter, completely distracted from the shoot and focusing on Jihan, which spoke volumes about your personality.

Maybe Mingyu's weaknesses boil down to three things: witty women, graceful women, and you.

He'll start by making a move toward Jihan. She mentioned his height earlier, expressing a desire to be held by him. He's all in! If Jihan wants to call him "dad" immediately, he's a goner.

He's definitely going to ask you out after this.

Charles couldn’t believe what he heard on television as he cheered for you from the hotel he was staying at. You did it– his girl got the most prestigious award for an actress and he couldn’t have been anymore prouder.

You looked ethereal as you walked up the stage, wearing the biggest smile on your face and the most elegant red gown. Taking the award from the presenter, you took a deep breath and raised it up high.

“Wow, this is just surreal! I never imagined myself on this stage, let alone holding this,” You laughed softly as you looked at the award in your hands, “There isn’t much to say. I’m grateful for all the love and support I’ve gotten for the past few years in my career. I’d never be here with out my family, my best friends, and a certain special someone in my life. This is all for them, thank you!”

Sitting on the bed, Charles couldn’t believe what he just heard. You had technically mentioned him in live television. It was if you were saying that your heart belonged to him, which somewhat eased up the doubts he’s had in his mind.

It wasn’t until a few hours later when Charles’ phone lit up from a Facetime call and he hurriedly picked it up, his heart fluttering when he saw your face.

“Congratulations, mon ange!” Charles exclaimed with a big smile on his face, “How’s my girl doing? Can’t believe I’m dating an Academy Award winner.”

“Thank you, my love,” You giggled as you laid back in bed, hair sprawled over as you lifted your phone above your face, “I feel exhausted but I really wanted to talk to you.”

“You should rest first,” Charles clicked his tongue as he shook his head, putting his arm behind his head, “You know I’ll be here when you wake up, baby.”

“I don’t wanna,” You pouted, which elicited a chuckle from your Monégasque lover, “I wanted to talk to you about something though, Cha.”

“Hm, what is it, mon ange?”

“You didn’t mind that I sort of revealed our relationship during my speech earlier, right?”

Charles frowned a bit, taking longer than usual to answer.

“Cha?” You whispered as your eyebrows furrowed, “Was my connection bad?”

“No, not at all. Sorry,” He mumbled as he sat up straighter, “I just- is it the right decision, baby?”

“I think it is,” You shrugged as you put your phone up against a pillow before laying on your side to face it, “We’ve been going steady for nearly a year and…I don’t know I just want to let everyone know that I’m taken by you, you know?”

“Mon ange…” Charles sighed as he rubbed a hand down his face, “Don’t get me wrong, I love you, but it’s just…”

“Just what, Charles? I’m not good enough for you?” You frowned as your bottom lip quivered, “Are you embarrassed of everyone else in the world knowing?”

“No, baby! It’s not that,” He said as he mirrored your expression, “It’s pretty much the other way around.”

“Huh? You think you’re not good enough for me?”

Charles looked down and nodded, “Yeah. You’re just so famous, you know? I’m like a tiny speck in your universe and all these guys want you, yet you chose me.”

Hearing Charles open up about what he felt shattered your heart. How could he ever think that way? He was beyond perfect– your dream guy rolled into one certain Monégasque Ferrari driver.

“Cha…” You pouted as you looked at him through your screen, “You’re so much more than enough for me. Who cares about those guys? You’re everything that I’ve ever yearned for in my life.”

“You’re just saying that…”

“Charles Leclerc, look at me,” You sternly said as he looked at you, “Who did I pick?”

“Me.”

“Who’s my boyfriend?”

Charles grumbled, “Me.”

“I love you. My heart is yours,” You smiled reassuringly, “You’re the only one I have eyes for. I promise.”

“I love you, mon ange,” He smiled softly back at you, “Sorry you have to put up with me.”

“I could say the same to you,” You chuckled as you looked at him lovingly, fighting back a yawn, “Whats yours is mine– burdens and joys.”

“Through burdens and joys, baby. Now, go to sleep, you need to rest. I’ll be here, I’ll stay in the call.”

Yawning as you nodded, slowly drifting off to sleep, “Goodnight, Cha. I love you.”

“Goodnight, mon ange, I love you.”

As you slept peacefully, Charles stared at the ceiling and thought how light his heart felt from your reassurance. You chose him. And, maybe, it is time to let the world know how much he loved you.

8. Lee Woo Chul

This man is here to do his job with the minimal amount of headache and paperwork. He will not be getting that wish.

7. Im Ho Joon

Junior detective. Weirdly pretty for this job. Lacks emotionally stable role models.

6. Do Hae Soo

Traumatized. Loves her brother. Takes men to her apartment not to seduce them, but to dissuade them. Should probably see a psychologist instead of processing her trauma via a career in gruesome SFX but who am I to judge.

5. Gong Mi Ja

Also traumatized. Her molecules vibrate at 8x the frequency of the world around her. Might kill someone at any moment, but even she doesn't know what she's going to do next.

4. Choi Jae Sup

Ugh, he's so hot, and for what? Disheveled loose cannon who knows when his coworker is hiding something.

Detective. Mom. Saw a man with zero affect who hated her and said, "I'm going for it." Succeeded. Pretty upset that he's been lying to her for years, but also kind of into it every time he shows up somewhere he absolutely should not be. Could have been a stereotype of the long-suffering Good Wife but is instead the perfect amount of deranged. I love her.

EXCLUSIVE: Dior Names K-pop Group Tomorrow X Together Brand Ambassadors

The five-member group wore custom Kim Jones-designed stage outfits for their headline performance at Lollapalooza Aug. 5.

PARIS — Fresh off of last weekend’s Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago, K-popquintet Tomorrow X Together, aka TXT, have been crowned the newest Dior brand ambassadors.

Their custom-designed Dior stage ensembles were a stylish teaser for the official announcement.

Dior artistic director Kim Jones created the bespoke concert outfits members Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Hueningkai wore onstage as part of their 20-song, history-making set as the first Korean group to headline the music festival.

“Tomorrow X Together are the perfect ambassadors for Dior. They have a great attitude and style and they look great in their custom stage outfits,” said Jones. The looks recalled the sci-fi-inspired, slightly utilitarian feel of his pre-fall 2023 collection, staged last December in Egypt.

Their appointment as ambassadors “seals their friendship with Dior and Kim Jones,” the company said. “The South Korean singers now embody the spirit and singularity of Dior style, a modernity with a timeless signature.”

“Our headlining at Lollapalooza was one of the most significant performances of our career. It was truly an honor to share the stage with Dior, and we hope to continue to show Tomorrow X Together’s versatility through this partnership,” said Soobin. The group leader wore a gray silk polkadot sleeveless gilet, gray wool chino pants with a matching short kilt.

“I’m thrilled to become an ambassador of Dior and represent a brand that I am personally fond of,” said Yeonjun. “I loved being onstage and dressed in the special outfits that Kim Jones designed for us.” He sported a beige wool tweed sleeveless gilet, beige wool chino pants with a matching long kilt.

“It is a great honor to share a milestone moment with Dior. I look forward to the synergy we will be creating together,” added Beomgyu. He kept it cool in brown wool pleated shorts, paired with a brown wool cropped zip jacket, a brown silk polkadot sleeveless gilet onstage.

Taehyun wore a beige wool tweed sleeveless gilet, brown wool chino pants with matching long kilt for the performance. “Collaborating with a major fashion house like Dior for a music festival as big as Lollapalooza was truly amazing. I also look forward to our journey ahead with Dior,” he said of working with the brand.

The group’s youngest member Hueningkai added that the concert marked the first step for the ambassadorship. “Lollapalooza marked the beginning of our journey as Dior ambassadors. Dressing in Dior stage outfits specially designed by Kim Jones that suited us perfectly added to the indescribable joy we felt on that big stage,” he said.

He wore a gray wool cropped zip jacket, a gray silk polka dot sleeveless gilet, grey wool pleated shorts with matching short kilt.

Soobin, Yeonjun and Taehyun sported Dior Oblique B33 sneakers, while Beomgyu and Hueningkai both wore the brand’s Carlo boots.

The house had an early eye for K-pop’s global popularity and and growing cultural power. Jones designed custom looks for K-pop supergroup — and TXT senior label mates — BTS’ “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” tour in 2019.

BTS’ Jimin joined Dior as global ambassador last year. His presence at the January menswear show lured thousands of fans to wait outside the venue for a glimpse of the superstar. Astro’s Cha Eun-woo and Exo’s Sehun are also ambassadors for Dior Men’s, while Blackpink’s Jisoo has been an ambassador on the womenswear side since 2019.

In June, Jones celebrated his five-year anniversary at the house with a powerful “pop-up” show that saw models emerge from the floor in cropped sweaters, herringbone cardigans and metallic tweed coats.

TXT’s “Sugar Rush Ride” is nominated in the Best K-pop category at the MTV Video Music Awards set to take place on Sept. 12.

trigger warning (parental death & boston marathon bombing) his life changed dramatically when his mother tragically passed. it was april 15, 2013. his mother was one of the nurses who volunteered to work the event for runners in need of medical attention. sadly, she died trying to save civilians who had been hurt by the first bombing. oliver was with his father at the time and vividly recalls the moment he saw it on the tv and trying to call her, only to receive her voicemail. he sobbed for days and was hounded by the press for comment on what had happened. even the private funeral was surrounded by photographers who want photos of the grieving boy.

after his mother's passing, oliver moved in with his father full-time. around then was when his father decided to move them all out to new york. he believes it may have been an attempt to help him heal as he had been having trouble adjusting to los angeles. oliver stayed out of the spotlight for most of youth, growing disdain for fame after how he was treated.

he wasn't spotted again until oliver was found doing a standup comedy set for an open mike night at Gotham Comedy Club. people were loving his self-deprication humor and comical insights on life. he blew up and eventually got hired onto saturday night live as a cast member, with a bit of writing every now and then.

his life was did not change much once he went into comedy. sure, people knew his family ties and he was an up-and-comer in comedy, but it was no different than what he was doing previously. it did change when he became romantically involved with famous singer dallas franco. soon, everyone wanted to know who this guy was and how he ended up with someone like dallas. it was a whirlwind romance which eventually lead to the two of them getting married. it ended up crashing down when the two of them got divorced. while it may have damaged dallas's career, it bolstered oliver's. soon, he was getting a comedy specials and offers in movies, and oliver was happy to capitalize on it, even though he was pissed how the media treated his ex-wife.

currently, oliver is still on saturday night live, but is branching into movie roles. but it is having some trouble branching into non comedic genres. he fears he is getting type casted.

it doesn't help that rumors are circulating questioning his parentage. oliver is aware that his mother was close with her best friend/washed up rock star, Cole Matthews, but he never believed any of it. their friendship ended soon after oliver and his mom left los angeles so he chalked it up to a falling out, nothing more. but it keeps being brought up more as he grows more successful.

personality.

the safest way to describe oliver is a mess. one moment he can be a happy, fun loving individual only to turn into a moody, conspiracy theorist who thinks the world would be better off crumbling to ash. people never know what to expect from him, but his ability to paint even the most dire situations as something comical almost makes up for it. he is honest with himself that he can be inconsistent, but he does his best to make up for it. however, he makes not attempts to change either.

despite this moodiness, most people would say he's a great guy. he has this boy next door charm that can win anyone over and genuinely tries to be a good person. despite coming from a rich and famous family, oliver is very down to earth. his mother tried to keep out of the public eye as much as she could, and even after, oliver still didn't want to be in the spotlight. he doesn’t have that cutthroat personality that some famous people seem to have, and tries to help people succeed if he can.

his romantic life is all over the place. oliver considers himself a romantic and enjoys flirting and the chase, but he stays loyal once he's found someone. unfortunately, he keeps finding the wrong one. after his recent divorce, he found people were more interested in him, which lead to more dating, but never amounted to anything serious. he blames his inconsistency and tendencies to get wrapped up in a fun side of things and put off the more difficult, emotional side of it. explaining his feelings has never been something he's good at, ask his therapist.

oliver has a lingering boston accent since he spent most of his childhood there.

despite having a trust fund and coming from a wealthy family, oliver is the cheapest man you will ever meet. he blames his mother for giving him values. he won't refuse to buy something, but he will try to haggle or find a cheaper alternative. generous tipper though.

oliver started off doing standup at eighteen after a friend of his anonymously signed him up for an open mic night. he likes to say he was forced into it.

he is one of the youngest cast members in saturday night live history, joining shortly before turning twenty.

oliver has five dogs: a french bulldog (sawyer), a beagle (copper), a bullmastiff (muffin), cavalier king charles (phineas), and labrador retriever (ferb). all of them are adopted. oliver is a firm supporter of 'adopt don't shop.'

exes/flings/hookups: he's based on pete davidson so oliver has definitely had his fair share of romantic relationships. give me people who are out of his league.

i owe you everything: someone he's known for a long time and the person who got him into comedy. this person would be someone he's known for a while, so at least eight years.

hi all! i'm shin (he/him, 21+) and i'm excited to be bringing adagio actor/model jung yohan to this group! i haven't written in a hot minute and have really had to dust off my brain the past few weeks, but i'm looking forward to getting back into things with you all. :-) anyway, more about yohan under the cut! and as always, drop a like or message if you'd like to plot~ (discord can be given if you prefer to plot there).

born in daejeon, south korea (nov 24 1995) but was basically raised in the countryside by his grandmother while mom worked in the city.

his grandmother was the one to kickstart his dreams to be onscreen, always watching tv dramas and reality shows with him every evening.

the family moved up to seoul together when he was done with high school, which is where he was scouted into a midtier company as an idol trainee.

didn't know anything about performing and it showed. but for the lack of talent, he made up for with a crazy work ethic, and he showed major improvements during his training period.

in 2015, he debuted in a 7-member boy group that flopped hard. after just one comeback, the group disbanded may 2017.

the rest of the year was spent in one massive slump, taking part time jobs and some small modeling gigs as a site model to make ends meet while wondering wtf he was going to do with his life.

got a casting call for an "idol revival" show (similar to "the unit") and ended up joining the show with 2 of his former group members. the show helped push him back into the spotlight as a charismatic leader figure who was great at catching screen time and votes. he made it to the final episode, but didn't quite make the cut for the final lineup of the group.

following another heartbreak, he really didn't know what to expect his life to throw at him next, so a contract with adagio was a happy surprise.

a couple shoot with a senior model under adagio catapulted him back into the spotlight, and he's been garnering opportunities and attention since.

his slow crawl to success has honestly only just started, even though it's been 8 years since his first official debut. he's trying not to let the lost time get to him in case he falls back into another slump, but as soon as work slows down a little, he can't help but feel like he's fading again. (we'll see what evil ways i have planned to get him the attention he wants so bad...)

yohan is the picturesque "adagio actor/model standard 3000 max." he's likable, focused on his work, doesn't create any issues, and keeps his distance from the public in a way that shelters his image (think cha eunwoo but way less popular).

has intense focus when he has something to do, but it's mostly because he gets easily distracted if he's not putting his all into the task at hand.

hates to feel stuck, so he's always finding ways to seek out something new to experience. new food, new feelings, new friends, new lovers; he'll try anything once.

he doesn't exactly feel very approachable when he's off the clock, but once you get him started, he'll talk your ear off.

a people pleaser. he hates to assume so he'll ask a lot of questions or just seem clueless in personal situations until he knows exactly what the other party wants. (has accidentally rejected many advances in this manner...)

just kind of a work-obsessed idiot who feels like time is running out fast for him and knows he'll have a breakdown the moment he has a second to think. :-\

bonding over failure; people who have also been in past groups/occupations/paths and things didn't work out for whatever reason, which became the common ground for your friendship to build off of.

good old pr friends; maybe you actually are friends, but it definitely started as a way to build reputations and post nice instagram pics.

a musician friend; he doesn't miss his idol days much, but he can still appreciate a good song or a long karaoke session. will probably think you're the coolest person in the world if you play instruments.

past relationships, flings, crushes; he probably let you down too nicely, whether that came as a relief or something to be pissed about for you.

someone who pulled away; whether you wanted to be friends or something more, the way he's just so nice to everyone had you cutting ties before anything could happen. it just rubbed you the wrong way.

a lingering crush; he's way too old to be blushing but you just know exactly what to say and do to stir up new feelings.

an enemy or that one ex; for the angst. maybe you disappeared when he needed you most.

finally gonna dump a bit more about my wag dr (more specifically the alexandra / me / charles lore) disclaimer beforehand this is in no way hate towards charles and alexandra or their relationship (a little bit maybe bcs i personally dont believe its real and i dont like her a lot)

alright so first of all background for those who havent seen the post about it on my blog:

basically charles and i get married in summer 2022 and decide to keep it secret (idk why we would at that point but yeah just we do) and then in 2023 (more specifically in may around miami gp) i get pregnant. we both want to keep the pregnancy as private as possible but bcs we all know charles doesnt really have privacy we decide to make me disappear for 9 months more or less

this is where alexandra comes in, she basically signs a contract agreeing to be charles fake gf to make fans not question why im not there since i usually go to a lot of races. so we both are there during the monaco gp (the contract was signed shortly before but technically she was supposed to appear after silverstone for the first time but she got an invite from apm that she didnt tell anyone from the team about) but people didnt know she was there until after silverstone bcs people started to get suspicious and did some digging partly also bcs someone shared some rumours about her and charles before when charles was in paris a lot and liked one of her pics that ended up being spread by alexandra herself

then in silverstone shes there again and im there too and charles and i go together to wimbledon (my last public appearance with charles until monaco 2024 although i am in monza but nobody sees me or knows i was there kinda like with pascale) then after she basically goes to all the races she goes in this reality to too

now since im the fave wag of everyone basically and alexandra in my dr is really a bitch kinda so rude to fans, entitled, elitist, racist (dont come for me shes kinda racist and elitist here too i didnt make this up) people do some digging and thats when the drama really starts

they find out that alex is kinda obsessed with me when they find her old ask.fm account and she talks about me a lot in other peoples asks and also her own answers

she starts copying me like clothes, instagram and tiktok content, places she visits stuff like that (clothes since shes not rich and im loaded af are like dupes of mine tho)

she starts to do ads and stuff but like sneaky and hidden and tries to subtly throw shade at me (she also does some sneaky modeling even tho she insists shes not like other wags and 'just a student'

she tries to get with charles and initiates pda and stuff but hes not interested obviously bcs he has me

she tries to recreate mine and kate b. friendship with kika which just ends up being awkward and fake

shes caught stalking my fanpages / style pages on instagram and also blocking all of the pages for mine and charles rs and simultaneously starts subtly sending her pages content / her friends do through letting them into their private insta and stuff

she has a fanpage of herself at the beginning after the monaco gp where she posts stuff about her and charles and shit

she drops out of uni to start her influencer career and people drag her for it (also its stupid bcs she has the contract for 6 months only and after people wont really want to keep up with her anymore i guess bcs cha and her 'break up'

she tried to get into my friendgroup pre contract quite often e.g. through valentine sine (im friends with charlotte) or my friends insta and ask.fm

long story short shes kinda obsessed with charles and wants to be me basically

she posts a video from her friends apartment (the friend lives in a building built by the same company as charless or even the same building) to try and make it seem like shes at charless apartment

also she doesnt share rooms with charles during race weekends obviously and after hungary there are rumours and the video in her room in mexico kinda confirms it for most people lol bcs they dig and find out its a one person room lmao

she also tries to hint to hard at their rs and how good everything is basically she is convinced charles will leave me for her before the contract is up

after the contract then ends she tries to cause drama by saying charles cheated on her with me and stuff but she signed an nda too about the whole thing so she cant say more and i also might sue her for idk spreading fake news and stuff

also charles never confirms their rs in my dr so basically people just assume theyre together but no one actually has proof (also he doesnt act like hes in a rs with her always only the bare minimum at events, ignoring her off camera stuff like that) so after we post the birth announcement in february 2024 and people find out they assume alex was a personal assistent or pr person or smth and obviously is just telling fake facts

again, i may add to this later idk but this is the most of it thanks for coming to my ted talk / random rant lmao <3

on MARCH 20, the boys who have been selected for LGC SPRING BOYS are invited to join KIM HYUNCHEOL in one of the large meeting rooms. after they've all filed in the room, KIM HYUNCHEOL speaks up: “hello everyone. thank you for coming here and congratulations on being selected to take part in our new variety show,” he exclaims. “when you signed up for the show, we asked you to make picks based on social groups and academic clubs. you've likely all speculated as to what this could've been related to and here's the answer; your choices determined in which units, and therefore which songs, you'll be performing in. as an additional surprise, YOON MINJAE has been given a solo song." each person is then handed a packet that includes the line distribution (TBA) of each song as well as information on each unit.

ACTIVITIES

"the members of VERSUS have been chosen as MCs for the variety. while AHN JAESUN will act as the main host, TWO MEMBERS other will assist him during each different activities!

while we're on the topic of the variety show; each episode will feature activities for all twenty-one of you. this is the time to show the audience a side of you that they won’t get to see just by watching you in music videos, dramas, magazines or on the stage. it’s also a time for you to show them your dynamics as a group. trainees, look around: these are many of the boys you’ll likely be debuting with in the future, so building bonds now will make future activities even easier.” he looks around to each of the boys to see if they understand.

below are the ACTIVITIES for the variety show in filming order:

1. SCHOOL'S IN:

MCs: AHN JAESUN (as teacher ahn), JUNG WOOKJIN (as sunbae jung), PONGSAK TEE (as tee sunbae)

FILMING: APRIL 6

CONTENT: on a classroom set akin to the one used on knowing brothers. [ segment 1 ] the boys are told to enter one by one as if this was their first day in a new school, in a new class, the goal is to show a bit of their personality. once everyone is seated, the 3 mcs of the day enter, acting as their homeroom teach (jaesun) and two recently graduate of the LGC academy (wookjin and tee). as the class president, YOON MINJAE is in charge of leading the greeting of the teacher. [ segment 2 ] AHN JAESUN tells the group that they will have to perform the class anthem, but first sunbae WOOJIN and TEE will show theirs. the two idols will dance to the hook and chorus of VERSUS' TRAUMA. following praises and comments, the LGC SPRING BOYS will perform a full live version of 'HOW ARE YOU' on the classroom set. [ segment 3 ] following the performance, AHN JAESUN announces that it's time for them to introduce themselves. one by one, the boys will have ONE MINUTE to tell their NAME, a RANDOM FACT about themselves and show a SPECIAL TALENT of theirs. of course, as the sunbaes, WOOJIN and TEE will once again be asked to demonstrate first. MCs and PARTCIPANTS are invited to ask questions and make comments about the facts and talents of the boys to keep the flow of the show as fun and engaging. [ segment 4 ] for the last segment filmed that day, AHN JAESUN will administer a PLACEMENT test. he will ask TRICKY questions equivalent to, more or less, 5th grader knowledge (example: what type of animal can live on both water and land? how many countries are in africa? what are the three types of rock? what is the most abundant element in the universe? how many teaspons are in 5 tablespoons?). for each question, the boys will have 30 SECONDS to write their answer on a WHITE BOARD, with the funniest answers discussed each round. at the end of the test, the boys will be divided in THREE GROUPS based on the number of correct answer (the tiers have been predetermined by various factors including random numbers, personality, knowledge of korean, education level, multiple accounts). each group will get a different spring activity as reward. results: HIGH TIER: choi kyungsoo, han jisoo, han noeul, kim jinyoung, kwon hyuntae, lim sanghyun, oh rieon MID TIER: choi kai, kwon baekhyun, baek byeongkwan, kang maximilian, seong byungho, park seojin, kang minsoo LOW TIER: cha hyoseop, cho minkyu, kang eli, kurosawa akio, lee saem, xue yichen, yoon minjae

2. TEAM MATCH:

MCs: AHN JAESUN, PONGSAK TEE, WON YEONWOO

FILMING: APRIL 13

CONTENT: at cj enm building, in the evening. MC JAESUN announces that this week, they will be doing a TEAM MATCH. the goal of the game is to capture both opposite teams trophies and bring them back to their base, doing so will eliminate the opposite team. of course, the base of each team is unknown to the others. as a final twist, each boy is equipped with a vest and a laser gun. should a participant be hit, their vest will flash and they will be taken out of the game by the staff for 5 minutes. the location they will be released back in will be free of opponents. for this activity, the three mcs will be joining in. the teams are mostly based on CLUBS with adjustments to have the same number of people in each team. once again, each group will get a different spring activity as reward. results (winners have once again been randomized): FIRST - TEAM TEE: cho minkyu, kang eli, kang maximilian, kang minsoo, lee saem, lim sanghyun + park seojin SECOND - TEAM AJ: cha hyoseop, han noeul, kim jinyoung, kwon hyuntae, oh rieon + yoon minjae, kurosawa akio THIRD - TEAM WON: baek byeongkwan, choi kai, choi kyungsoo, han jisoo, kwon baekhyun, seong byungho, xue yichen

3. ROAD TRIP & BONDING:

MCs: AHN JAESUN, JUNG WOOKJIN, KIM ALEX

FILMING: APRIL 20

CONTENT: the episode begins without the MCs in front of LEGACY ENTERTAINMENT. [ segment 1 ] the boys, divided in their SOCIAL GROUP formations, will be tasked to find their way to the camping ground of the last activity, 1h30 away from seoul. BAD/COOL BOYS will be given a van (with driver) and a PAPER MAP. OUTSIDERS will be given BUS TICKETS and LINES TRAJECTORIES. HEARTTHROBS will be dropped at the TRAIN STATION with a card with enough money for several tickets and taxi fare. [ segment 2 ] once they find the venue, each group will be taken to a dining area where the favorite dish or drink (minimum 2 type of beverage per team) of each member is present. to be allowed to eat, each member of the group must win the game against one of the MCs. each time they lose, they must remove a dish or a drink. BAD/COOL BOYS will each have to 'complete the word' against WOOKJIN (example; mc says 'con', member says 'cert' to make the word concert), will win after FOUR rounds so have only one dish (and water). OUTSIDERS will play reverse rock paper scissor against ALEX, where they not only must each play until they beat him, but also say they won if they lost and they lost if they won, will win after THREE rounds, so have 4 dishes/drinks. HEARTTROBS will play 'name the celebrity' against AHN JAESUN, where they each have to name the celebrity on the picture shown, will win after SEVEN rounds, so have 2 dishes/drinks. [ segment 3 ] a noraebang battle in mini groups of 2 or 3 judged by the three mcs. [ segment 4 ] group pictures + commentaries from the participants about their experience.

4. PLACEMENT TEST REWARD

MC: N/A

FILMING: APRIL 27

CONTENT: HIGH TIER group will first do a CHERRY BLOSSOM TOUR and enjoy an evening spring market food tour. MID TIER group will spend the day at EVERLAND and more precisely, enjoy their TULIP FESTIVAL. LOW TIER group will be trying their hands at ICE FISHING.

5. TEAM MATCH REWARD

MC: N/A

FILMING: MAY 4

CONTENT: FIRST PLACE TEAM will attend the DAMYANG BAMBOO FOREST FESTIVAL where they will be treated to traditional art and culture performances, as well as bamboo-related programs, such as riding bamboo rafts, catching fish with bamboo baskets, and making bamboo water-guns. SECOND PLACE TEAM will go STRAWBERRY PICKING. THIRD PLACE TEAM will visit the JINDO MIRACLE SEA ROAD and pick abalones, clams and shells

PERFORMANCES

“each unit will PERFORM LIVE ON THEMED SET at the end of each episode and RELEASE A SONG and an accompanying MUSIC VIDEO ON ALL STREAMING PLATFORMS after the episode is aired. your full schedule for LGC BOYS is available in the packet you've received earlier (HERE). the quicker ones might have already noticed that rather than end your activities with the last episode, it'll be through a CONCERT on JUNE 17 at EVERLAND. members of the BAND unit will be performing with instrumenbts on that day.

i hope this will make you treat this project even more seriously even if it's considered a one-time gig. we’ll be in a crunch to get everything done on time, so the success of this project relies on how hard you all will work. if you decide this is not for you, please let us know before we go through with this. we are dedicating a lot of resources to this, after all.”

Who’s Cha Eunwoo

Dong Min (이동민; born Mar 30, 1997), better known as Cha Eunwoo (차은우), is a South Korean actor, model, singer, and member of the Kpop group Astro under Fantiago Entertainment. He made his debut as an actor in the movie My Brilliant Life in 2014. He debuted with Astro on Feb 23, 2016.

"GLASS ONION: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY" (2022) Review

"GLASS ONION: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY" (2022) Review Following the success of his 2019 murder mystery, "KNIVES OUT"; writer-director Rian Johnson created a standalone sequel called "GLASS ONION: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY". The movie starred Daniel Craig, who reprised his role as the Louisiana-born master detective, Benoit Blanc.

Set during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic, "GLASS ONION: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY" . . . or "GLASS ONION" . . . featured Blanc solving a case that revolved around a tech billionaire named Miles Bron, owner and co-founder of the Alpha tech company, and his closest "friends" at the billionaire's private Greek island. The movie began with several of Bron's friends each receiving a wooden puzzle box to decipher to find an invitation inside - an invitation to a murder mystery game. The friends travel to Miles's island, along with companions for two of the guests. Famous detective Benoit Blanc joins them. Miles claimed he did not invite Blanc, but he allowed the latter to stay, assuming another guest sent him an invitation as a joke. Among those invited include: *Alpha head scientist Lionel Toussaint *Connecticut governor Claire Debell *Controversial fashion designer and model Birdie Jay *Birdie's personal assistant Peg *Men's rights streamer Duke Cody *Whiskey, Duke's girlfriend and Twitch channel assistant *Ousted Alpha co-founder Cassandra "Andi" Brand Not long after their arrival and before dinner, Miles showed off his valuable glass sculptures, as well as the Mona Lisa, which he has on loan from the Louvre to his guests. Miles also revealed that his mansion is powered by "Klear", a hydrogen-based alternative fuel that Alpha will launch imminently, despite Lionel and Claire's concerns that it is untested and dangerous. Blanc managed to solve Miles's murder mystery game immediately before it could barely start. But he privately warned Miles that his guests have motives to kill him. Before the first day could end, a murder occurred inside the mansion. Once again, Rian Johnson utilized a social issue as a theme for his second murder mystery. In the case of "GLASS ONION", one would think the issue revolved around Birdie's casual racism or Duke's sexism. But the real issue seemed to be the character of Miles Bron. It did not take me long to realize that Johnson had based Miles on tech billionaires like Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg and Larry Page. But many have claimed that the Miles Bron bore the strongest resemblance to the most publicized tech mogul - Elon Musk. This movie seemed more focused on condemning the tech mogul types and probably the Internet celebrities than simply focusing on the usual social issues. I am not criticizing Johnson for this, especially since many of these tech moguls have proven to be influential on society today. Perhaps too influential . . . and for better or worse. In the case of Miles Bron, the worse seemed more obvious. Miles' impact on the major characters seemed to be more personal than political. Both Lionel and Claire find themselves being forced by Miles to endorse his new alternative fuel, Klear; despite their fears that is untested and dangerous. Such endorsement would endanger their reputations and careers. Birdie needs Miles' financial support for her fashion line following the revelation that her factories were basically sweatshops. And Duke hopes Miles will give him a show on the latter's Alpha News network. Unfortunately, Miles has developed a sexual interest in Whiskey, Duke's girlfriend. However, Johnson's screenplay seemed more interested in the negative portrayal of Miles as the typical tech billionaire than his connections to the movie's other major characters. And this emphasis on tech moguls like Miles Bron, despite being genuinely interesting and entertaining, seemed to have a less powerful message than the one used in 2019's "KNIVES OUT". "GLASS ONION: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY" featured some very interesting characters, who almost struck me as borderline cartoonish. Mind you, I thought some of the characters managed to avoid this slight cartoonish taint - especially Benoit, Andi Brand, Claire Debella and Lionel Toussaint. But I found some of the other characters slightly exaggerated, yet at the same time, entertaining. Whether I found their characters exaggerated or not, I cannot deny that this movie featured some first-rate performances. I did not have an issue with one performance in this film. Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom, Jr., Kate Hudson, Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline and Noah Segan all gave first-rate performances. The movie also featured entertaining cameos from the likes of Hugh Grant, Angela Landsbury, Ethan Hawke, Stephen Sondheim, Natasha Lyonne, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Jake Tapper and Serena Williams. The movie even featured images of Jeremy Renner and Jared Leto on appear on bottles of hot sauce and kombucha. But there were performances that impressed just a bit more than others. One of those performances came from Dave Baustista, who was not only surprisingly effective as the sexist Duke, but also managed to convey more layers behind what could have easily been a cartoonish character in the hands of a less talented actor. I realize many would find this hard to believe but I did find the Miles Bron character a bit exaggerated at times. But Edward Norton gave such a fabulous performance as the arrogant and self-involved Miles that his exaggeration almost seemed natural to me. Janelle Monáe managed to attract a great deal of positive reviews for her performance as "Andi" Brand. And I can see why. She gave a phenomenal performance as co-founder of Alpha, who seemed embittered by Miles' ouster of her, following her refusal to support his new alternative fuel, Klear. More importantly, Monáe did an excellent job in conveying her character's edgy and intense personality, which kept everyone else on edge . . . and wondering if she had changed. Not surprisingly, Daniel Craig gave a perfect performance in his second outing as the New Orleans-born private detective Benoit Blanc. Not only did he managed to tone down his Foghorn Leghorn routine from the first film, I found myself entertained by his conveyance of Blanc's reactions to the lunacy and shallowness of Miles and most of his fellow guests. But as much as I had enjoyed the movie's narrative, I had a few issues. Once, since this movie was set in May 2020, were audiences really supposed to accept Miles' quickie COVID-19 cure as effective? Considering Blanc's opinion of the billionaire, I rather doubt it. I suspect that Blanc, Miles and the latter's guests were forced to monitor their health, following their departure from the island. When the party's first real victim dropped dead, I immediately knew the killer's identity. This aspect of "GLASS ONION" bore a strong resemblance to one or two of Agatha Christie's novels. Also, I had a problem with the movie's revelation scene after Blanc exposed the real killer. I wish I could go into details about why I found the writing for that scene very contrived, but I do not want to spoil the movie. Oh well. At least I was impressed by Bob Ducsay's editing, especially in the film's revelation scene; and Steve Yedlin's colorful photography of the Greek locations, especially in the movie's first twenty minutes or so. Despite my few issues regarding "GLASS ONION: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY", I must admit that I still managed to enjoy it very much. The film benefited from Rian Johnson's screenplay and direction, along with first-rate performances from a cast led by Daniel Craig. Like I said, I enjoyed the movie very much. But I still believe "KNIVES OUT" was the superior film.

I disagree, look at Luisa. She’s glowing and having the time of her life :: yes but Luisa is signed with a great agency unlike cha this is why I don’t think her influencer career will last long or be good because her agency unlike Luisa was getting her jobs all based around her being Charles gf like that Sunday race with Sunday Riley moment, they putted no effort into the content they did because they simply didn’t care Charles fans would engage with it no matter what. Luisa gets the same jobs as the other models of her agency, they are way more professional and you can see by the brands she works with and how the content is made. As their unprofessionalism wasn’t already obvious cha agency has been called out before for fake followers and false advertisement, and they are known to by they way into the press. This is no way cha faults but if she wants to be an actual influencer and not be so dependent in Charles image she needs to find a new agency.

as someone whos been in and out of the kpop sphere for well over 10yrs and witnessed 2nd gen -> 3rd gen and now -> 4th gen i know of no other music genre w a history so organized(?) i think it def comes from the insanely fast turnover rate of kpop groups; the 7 year curse is very real and i would argue most groups legacy and peak can usually be distilled into a few years

for example girls generations peak influence was prob from 2009-2013 (gee, genie, hoot, oh, the boys, igab) although theyve had hits outside of that obviously 2009-2013 was still the most profitable w their tours and japanese and american debut and the members started mostly doing solo activities after 2015 notably taeyeon debuted with I in 2015 [so far gd and taeyeon are the most notable kpop soloists w longevity oh hyuna too but hyuna always felt more solo than 4minute or wonder girls]

for big bang i would argue it 2007-2012 (starting w lies, haru haru, tonight and alive eps) although its a bit harder to nail down w big bangs notoriously long hiatus and g-dragon (2008-2014 heartbreaker, one of a kind, coup d’etat) plus taeyang’s (2010-2014 i need a girl, wedding dress, eyes lips nose) solo careers following a different trajectory and peak (2014 mama) arguable that MADE (2015) was their real peak before enlistment and after long hiatus

exo (2013-2017), twice (2015-2020~), shinee (2008-2013), 2NE1 (2009-2014), bts (2015-2020~) [i personally think bts peaked musically between skool luv affair and wings]

you can do this w any group the point is kpops insanely high turnover rate and the industry’s obsession with young and fresh faces makes it so longevity/artistic growth arent as valued as something new (there are an insane amount of rising groups rn ask whos the 4th gen leader on twitter and there will be violence) and kpop idols go into their careers knowing its not sustainable and most will pivot to acting, modeling, going solo, or something else and very few reach any mainstream or critical acclaim as a soloist from a group (big bang’s individual solo work early in their definitely made them stand out among bgs of that era as shinee also all went solo rather successfully they did so after shinee’s peak popularity) i think bts used a similar strategy when giving each member a solo song in wings. there also is always the one person that become the face and most popular eventually synonymous (suzy in miss a, zico in block b, cha eunwoo in astro, wonyoung in ive, hyuna in 4minute) etc. with the group brand thats probably not the idea for the rest of the group but it profitable and kpop companies typically arent too invested in their artists going solo if they wont be successful (contracts are usually only last 7 yrs) [new kpop idols should thank jyj (former tvxq/dbsk) and their lawsuit for korea fair trade commission’s 7 year limit for entertainment contracts; kris luhan tao also continued the sm tradition of sueing for worker’s rights] anyways idk what my point is here ive just been in the kpop meta for too long i feel old and wise but the message to all kpop fans esp new ones… its all capitalism <3 i know some groups self produce or wtv but its all for profit think about why youre buying 6 versions of the same album when you dont even have a cd player and if thats you than more power to you buying things is fun just remember kpop is not that deep bc its run by corporate overlords i’ll leave this with some potentially obscure older recs: a fool of tears - big bang, black hole - shinee, express 999 - girls’ generation, signal - f(x), dont flirt - winner [yg’s who is next was emotional damage produce101 before p101] , change - hyuna, mental breaker - block b (underrated rap line park kyung zico p.o. also from a meta sense bts and block b are very similar bts got a lot more success prob due to smart musical choices and marketing and a little luck
