Thoughts Black Clover ships, if you have any?

So, I’m not a hardcore shipper like some people. It’s just not something I think about. I like to see what other people ship though because sometimes it’s something I never would’ve thought about , or something totally off the wall which amuses me. Maybe I can just give my opinion on a few of the popular ships from Black Clover?

Asta and Noelle

Not a huge fan. It’s hard for me to ship Asta with anyone since he’s so focused on becoming the wizard king. I don’t know how great he’d be in a relationship because of that, especially with someone like Noelle who would need A LOT of attention.

Yuno amd Charmy

I don’t think it’ll ever happen but I like the idea of it. Yuno has the same drive that Asta has, but Charmy doesn’t seem to mind that. She doesn’t need that constant reassurance that Noelle does. She seems totally chill to root for her man and take care of him by feeding him whenever he needs. She never seems to annoy Yuno either. I think he doesn’t mind having her around. Plus they’re both badasses.

Vanessa and Finral

I like this ship. Finral has so many insecurities and is in a constant state of anxiety. I think Vanessa rounds him out quite nicely. She’s more relaxed and I think she’d be a good influence on Finral. Plus, she’s super supportive of all her squad mates and I think Finral could benefit from having that in a relationship.

Yami and Charlotte

I don’t mind it. Charlotte worries about not being taken seriously as a woman, but that is clearly not an issue with Yami. He’s made it clear on multiple occasions that he considers her to be more than capable of handling herself. I think he’d be able to help her feel more confident about her more softer personality traits too.

Yuno and Asta

No. I don’t like it. They grew up together and see each other as siblings/family. They’re dynamic as rivals is good, but I don’t think they’re compatible romantically. They are just a little bit too competitive, and I think Asta’s screaming would drive Yuno crazy haha

Asta and Mimosa

Not my favorite, but I don’t mind it. It’s pretty much the same as the Yuno/Charmy relationship. Mimosa doesn’t need constant reassurance like Noelle, so she can support Asta and his goal without any issues of jealousy or something. Her personality and magic are good for Asta. They balance each other out.

Luck and Magna

I really like their friendship and it makes me feel weird to ship them. I think they’d be better than Yuno/Asta though. I sometimes think Luck is a little to blunt about his teasing, and Magna is more emotional. It made me sad whenever Luck powered up and Magna sort of got left behind, like when Luck got into the Royal Knights and Magna didn’t. Maybe as rivals it is a good motivator for Magna, but the inequality of power might not be good in a romantic relationship. Magna doesn’t seem like he’d do well to sit back and take a supporting role like Mimosa or Charmy.

Um, sorry if that’s a little long. Those are just my basic opinions about the main ships.
