School starts in a week and I’m not ready at all. Most of my teachers have already posted the assignments for the year, so I’ve written them all down so I don’t loose track! I can already tell that chemistry is going to kick my butt this year, but oh well. The good things are that summer is starting to return to Denmark after a very gloomy July, and that I have this fella to keep me company

i hope you all are doing well and staying safe ♡ that’s way more important than any studying and should be your top priority. i just wanted to share a technique that may or may not help you:

my favorite (re?)studying method that i’ve found is to annotate notes. (here is the video where i learned this technique. i love love love her channel, please check it out!) i made lots of notes over the year because that’s how i learn best, but imo it’s really difficult and time consuming to make new study guides, because not only do i have to look at my old notes and copy that, but also look at videos, etc. for new content...it just doesn’t seem helpful when i already put so much work into my notes, and only set aside a day to study (lol). the solution? note annotation.

i’ve been adapting it for my ap exam studying by watching videos (bozeman science >>>) and making new notes on top of my old notes from class. in these notes, i reinforce my old notes and add new content that i didn’t get in the first time around! this technique has also helped me decide which concepts i know really well, and which to improve on. i hope it helps you!

studyblr introduction

Hello there :) A few days ago I made my studyblr after I had discovered the studyblr community a few weeks ago. I’ve been obsessed with it ever since and as school starts on september 4 I wanna introduce myself. 

So here are a few facts about me: I’m Paula, 15 y/o (my birthday is october 25). I attend a German Gymnasium and will start year 11 on monday. My subjects this year include: German, English, Latin, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, History, Geography and Art.

I’m a Scorpio, INFJ and Hufflepuff. My hobbies are reading and procrastinating while scrolling through twitter, ig and tumblr. I also play the guitar, but I’m pretty bad at it.

Learning languages is something I really enjoy. I learn English and Latin at school and I recently stopped French after four years. I self-study Norwegian and someday I maybe wanna learn Spanish and Polish.

I wanted to join the studyblr community because seeing all the posts made me really motivated and gave me faith that I can get through the school year. Last year I struggled a lot with anxiety and stress so I hope that this year will start better. It already helped me to start bullet journaling as it gives me the opportunity to really plan everything out.
