His cold hands were warming inside his pockets. He should have worn warmer clothes, but it hadn't been so windy a few hours ago, and he realized he'd been tricked as soon as he took his hands out of his pockets.

But he wouldn't go too far. He would have stood it.

As he walked down the street, he noticed that there was no one in the area. But it wasn't creepy, but it was very colorful thanks to the typical Christmas garlands decorating it here and there.

Chan wasn't happy. The last thing on his face was a smile.

But he wasn't angry or sad. Christmas was just another day for him.

He couldn't drink yet, but he was going to anyway. No one saw him because he lived alone. What can happen?

He walked home at a slow pace. It seemed that the last thing he wanted to do was walk to his destination because of his downcast gaze.

Anyway, he kept walking. He didn't want to go anywhere else either.

And even if he was very distracted, it would be impossible not to pay attention to the body lying on the floor in front of him.

He was not far from his home when he encountered this scene, which made him freeze for a moment. He didn't know what to do and had already thought about it in case it happened, but in his imagination, or rather, in the scene he imagined, there were a lot of people around him. He never imagined himself alone.

He went over to the body and examined it in detail to see if it had any serious injuries or a serious wound.

He knew that now was not the time, but he took the opportunity to examine it in detail. He was cute, and he seemed to have very delicate skin.

He didn't know why, but he was worried that the neck was too closed for him. He decided to undress only the upper part of his body, he did not check this part. There was nothing there, not even the marks of a beating.

But all of a sudden, as soon as he opened his eyes, he screamed.

And it was quite understandable. Imagine that you wake up and realize that you are being undressed, and next to you a stranger is looking so intently at your stomach.

He tried to calm him down as best he could and told him what happened when he found him. And he, desperately covering his body, agreed to tell, because he had saved him and he could be trusted.

He was a man who easily trusted others, so Chan thought when he saw how quickly he started talking.

"I was robbed," he said, on the verge of tears.

Chan felt pity and at the same time sympathy for him. He didn't know what to do, and just patted him on the back a couple of times to cheer him up.

— And your parents? — that was the first thing he asked. It was important, and it was almost eleven o'clock.

— They don't know. And it would be better if they didn't know, because the mobile phone that was stolen from me is not cheap at all," he said, his voice trembling a little. After a few seconds, he started laughing because the TV turned on and they were showing Peppa pig on it. Chan was stunned, but he smiled.

— How are you feeling?

— My whole body hurts. I don't know, maybe they kept hitting me because I lost consciousness," he said, sighing. — I don't know.

Chan laughed at how he downplayed what could be considered the most important thing.

"I tried to defend myself, but there were three or four of them," he said, treating wounds on his forehead and cheeks. — I don't want to go back to my house. Besides, I'm sure they didn't even notice my absence.

Chan nodded, listening, but at the same time concentrating on his work.

— Although now that I think about it, I do not know, because I do not have a mobile phone, and maybe they called me. There was a short silence in which neither of them felt uncomfortable. — What's your name? He asked with a very small smile.

— Chan, what about you?

—Seungwan," he smiled now, "do you live alone?"

Chan nodded and replied in a whisper. He didn't really like living alone, but his parents were far away, and he only needed to focus on his studies and pay for some things.

— And you're going to spend Christmas... ? Alone? Seungwan immediately regretted asking the question as his expression changed.

— Yes, but it doesn't matter.

— It matters. It should be the day you meet your relatives, or I do not know...

"But I can't," Seungwan pouted, not knowing what to say. But after a few seconds, it dawned on him.

"Look what I've brought," he said happily. But when he tried to feel for his backpack on his back, he realized that there was nothing there. — My backpack!

— Oh, your backpack is there, on the chair. You were wearing it, but it was open.

Seungwan ran up to him and checked what was lying there. Nothing was stolen.

"Thanks, Chan, — he said, breathing a sigh of relief. Then he started looking for something. "I took dessert with me because I knew I'd get hungry at some point,— he continued. — I was going to go to a friend's house, but then this happened.

Chan didn't say anything, but gave him his full attention.

— If you want... We can eat it together. It made him blush. He had never said anything like this before, much less to a stranger. But it seemed nice to him. — I've been told many times that you need to trust strangers less. But I know there are still good people left," he said, opening the dessert. Two large chocolates and juice. — Just like you, Chan.

Until this day, which was supposed to be his first, he had never known what it was like to spend Christmas without his family. But he never imagined that he would spend such a special day with a man he didn't even know.

Nevertheless, it was a very cozy and pleasant company. He was very cheerful and made him feel less lonely—besides, the strange but wonderful dessert he was carrying made him feel even better.

He felt so good that he offered to take him home when it was almost midnight.

Seungwan kissed him on the cheek and hurried home. He didn't have to ask for his phone number, because he didn't live that far away, and besides, he remembered the streets well.

And next week, Seungwan already had a new plan.

Soon, he was going to pay an unexpected visit to the one who had once saved him.
