After reading Heartstopper three, I got incredibly confused as an✨ace person✨ They are boyfriends and they didn't say "I love you" yet??? What the f*ck??

For me (the neurodivergent asexual in the aromantic spectrum, yeah), what I find logical is having a deep and intimate friendship first, then say "I love you", kiss and the same day talk about how you want to be in a relationship. Saying "I love you" is very important ☹️, it means you are in love enough to have a serious romantic relationship with someone!! Because having a romantic relationship is very serious. For me.
