Chapter Fifteen-Long Haul!

Wow, the fuck. You know there are very many things in life that drive me bonkers. ROAD TOADS, are one of them. There is a huge difference in driving with pride and driving for a pay check. I would like to think that most CDL drivers take pride in what they do and how they do it, but there are definitely some people out there that simply hold a steering wheel to collect a pay check and have no regard for anyone else on the road. Big or small. Those are what we call roads toads.

Six hundred and eight miles yesterday. I am exhausted.

Have kids they said it’ll be fun they said. Lies. No one ever prepares you for what parenthood is ACTUALLY like. This morning I left the room for a few minutes and came back to the salt container dumped into the pepper container. Pepper all over Ryanns laps and a two year old that just kept saying no, and cried when I took the containers away. Mind you these weren’t just the little table one these were my big glass ones. Two year olds are… great. Here’s to another day of managing my croch goblins.

I was supposed to take a big ass load today. Waiting on Casper tire to change a bald tire. I was tossing straps over and got a call from the school. Theo had to have a talk with the behavior support teacher about bathroom edict. Him and another boy were messing around and peed in the same urinal at the same time. Face palm. Few minutes later they called back. Addi has a low grade fever and severe right side pain. Now we are sitting in the emergency room. School calls again! Theo needs to be picked up principle excused absence. Lord help me! I am you explain why? Was my question. Few reasons. Showed another kid his underwear, refusing to do his work, not following directions, threw food at lunch time, when asked to clean it up before recess he said no and ran outside, when asked to come inside to clean it up he said no and lastly being disrespectful to staff. WHAT THE FUCK! When it rains it pours. That what they say isn’t it? Today is more like “if it rains there’s a tsunami” type day.

Waiting on blood and urine results for Addi. I hate the ER.

Turns out it was a UTI. So happy it wasn’t her appendix. Poor kid is just worn out. We are going to crash for the night.
