Minecraft feels like it doesn’t know what to do for big updates any more so they’re doing like small miscellaneous updates collected together. I wish they’d move on from trying to give them a theme bc I feel like that’s just confusing.
One thing I wish they’d do is do updates from time to time and go back and add pieces to old update. Like maybe add more fish or tree types.
Specifically what made me have this thought is that I’d love if they’d add more to the geodes. Like the amethysts are lovely but I’d love if there was a whole range of crystals to find in geodes!! I feel like that’s along the line of the archaeological stuff they’ve done recently! Digging into the earth for history and stuff!
Also if they ever do a forest update I’d freak out. I’d love if they revamped their nature bc I feel like that part of the over world specifically has been the same since the beginning era of minecraft. Like ocean, nether, caves, villages, NOW FOREST. And end.
Feels like natural progression of their universe growing! And I like feeling like the updates can have a “story” like aspect to me. Especially bc worldbuilding. Favorite idea when it comes to minecraft lore

Hhh I completely forgot I was gonna built my house in the cherry blossom biome this time 'cause I haven't seen it myself yet.
I find a pretty taiga with all the materials I need for a house in the neighboring biomes and decide to live there immediately lol.

Dude I absolutely cannot stop thinking about minecraft-ing the dca but WHAT THE HELL DO I MAKE THEM
"oh Moon is definitely a phantom" ok. BUT WHAT DO I MAKE SUN. the only guys I can kiiiinda think of being a pair to the phantom is like. a parrot or a bee??? but those are SO DIFFERENT to phantoms.
and then I was like. slime & magma cube. but how in the fuck do I make hybrids of those. it's either cube or human and neither of those are directions I want to go in
and I also really really want to make them a drowned and a husk but. THOSE ARE TOO HUMAN. how do I make drowned and husk that are not just Human Guy™. also there were other reasons I didn't want to do that (mostly story-wise because yes I'm going to turn this into a comic why the fart wouldn't I) SO. WHAT YHE FUCK DO I DO

hiiiii have been building a little town on the Archhive server run by @archhivist !
there's alot of nifty datapacks that adds new stone types to mess around, though i've been mostly building with wood. But other than that everyone there is really chill and cool!

im so happy. i made a new skin for minecraft based on a new oc i got recently, oc that i love to bits and is basically a sona/mascot now, and not only did i do a good job with it but also i just played minecraft a bunch. did nothing much. cut down some trees. found a lush cave. got axolotls and a bunch of stuff from there. got wheat for later mud brick uses. and at the end i just stood around breeding some bees so they'd fill the hives my friend installed. its so neat. im rly happy about that. i think next i might try to make the mud bricks and lay down a house...? im unsure tbh i like the concept of houses but i also end up just making them big and empty lol i rly need to figure out how to just decorate inside.

Playing vanilla Minecraft for the first time in a while for the new 1.20 update and I know this isn't a new feature, but- holy shit I haven't had this much fun exploring cave systems in vanilla Minecraft since I did it for the first time as a seven year old
