- ashlyn going rage mode on her uncle cash once she finds out that he hung up on ej then the two of them just taking the caswell money and spending the rest of their summer in the most needlessly excessive ways (“go big or go home”, they’re gonna say)

- kourt and ej friendship fic that explores how they went through a similar storyline this summer, leading to them getting to know each other better and helping each other out

BEWARE THE SPOILERS

-The first episodes (too many movie scenes)

-Too many parents scenes

-Too many Gina's scenes with Mack (those minutes could have been better spent with her being with the original cast)

-Ricky being the protagonist for the forth time in a row

-Miss Jenn giving the role of Gabriella to Dani (instead of upgrading anyone from the drama club)

-Big Red going to Cairo (How can he go there when his parents own a pizza place and he didn't even get to go to the summer camp last season?)

-The "I want it all" version (Sounded weird)

-I needed more Caswell cousins moments

-EJ having 4 jobs and gifting his guitar to Ricky (Firstly, why can't Ashlyn's parents help EJ? and secondly, he should have sold the guitar to have more money)

-Maddox not telling Ashlyn that she was leaving

-Gina changing the contract (Sorry, but that's the most unrealistic thing they've done in the entire series. She should have decided her future.)

-All characters being in a relationship or having a romantic interest at the end of the series (Not everyone has to fall in love)

just watched the finale and i am seething. i cried multiple times during that episode, and most of them came from just looking at ej's face. he looked so broken down, it was honestly heartbreaking.

i don't think i saw him smile once (except maybe during 'in summer'), and you know what the best part of it all was? not a single person seemed to give a shit.

There's obviously been a lot of discourse around this this past week, and somehow I haven't seen any of it LOL 😅 at least not on this platform (which I'm lowkey grateful for.) I found it really annoying as a Gina-defender how often Ashlyn kept bringing up Gina 1.0 in 3.02 (so I can understand people's frustration with that). However, EJ has nothing to do with that. I don't see why he should be dragged through the mud because of what his cousin is saying. I get the feeling that Ash kept referring to Gina 1.0 in a negative manner because of a place of insecurity. Maybe she feels insecure about the fact that Gina is so ready to be the lead, and comfortable in a role like that. Perhaps it's a bit jealousy? I can sympathize with Ash because she did struggle a bit with seeing herself as the leading lady in S2. That doesn't excuse seeing Gina's ambition and excitement at finally getting to play the lead as a bad thing. Maybe Ash and Gina could have a talk about it sometime this season?🤔

so as we know "it's on" is going to take place in 3x6... but despite all the conflict in 3x5 everyone seems pretty chill with each other in the mv? maddox and jet are voluntarily pairing up to sing and seem close despite all the heartbreaking sibling conflict reveals from last episode. similarly, ej and gina are voluntarily pairing up and working well together, and ricky and ej don't sing together but still work well with each other in their team! to be completely honest, I am a little worried that the writers are going to take all these conflicts more lightly than they should be. yes, it's supposed to be a summer of fun for the wildcats, but "fun" shouldn't be equating to "rushed".
