She enjoys being able to hold you, whether it’s on her lap while she works, or cuddled into her chest while you sleep.

Her hands are… well… gigantic. Which makes “regular” hand holding difficult. But she loves it when you intertwine your fingers with hers during particularly aggravating calls with Miranda.

She is, obviously, the big spoon. Which neither of you mind. She always holds you close to her while sleeping, she likes the feeling of protecting you. Shielding you from any dangers that may lurk outside of her arms.

She prefers to keep anything longer than a peck in private however. Unless of course, she’s showing someone that you’re hers. In which case you can expect to be lifted/pressed up against the nearest wall for her to make out with you.

She loves having her hair played with/her head scratched while laying with you, especially after a long/stressful day. She also likes having her back/shoulders massaged

She isn’t clingy like her daughters, but she loves being able to have you near her. When she’s working she likes to have you in her lap. You’re like a stress reliever to her.

She loves being able to lift and hug you, or lean down to press kisses to your head. She likes the way you look up at her after, it makes her feel like a goddess.

She loves it when you dance with her, you’ll often have dates in the castle, and her favourite place to bring you is always the opera hall. The two of you dance for hours, just basking in each others presence.

She always makes sure to reserve time in her day to be with you, no matter what. She even hung up on Miranda once after she “took too much of our time”

When she gets thirsty (not like that you horny bastard) she pulls you onto her lap and gently tilts your head to the side, she always peppers kisses down your throat before drinking from you.

She loves you so much, and makes sure you know that. Whether it be through words or actions, you always know how much you mean to her.

She, like her mother, loves having you with her while she works. She says your presence calms her during especially stressful days, your scent specifically helps.

She likes to have you on her lap, not during formal events or dinner of course. But when you’re reading together in the library she’ll pull you onto her and wrap her arms around you.

She loves it when you bury your head into the crook of her neck to press a gentle kiss to her throat, which normally leads to her squeaking and getting flustered. Only when you’re alone though, she thinks it’s “improper”.

She absolutely loves having her hair played with. Untangle her hair with your fingers? She’s a blushing mess.

She loves massages, getting them and giving them. You better believe homegirl is practically a professional at them.

She likes sitting next to you whenever possible, she always intertwines her fingers with yours. She loves being able to hold you, even if it’s subtle.

She has a busy schedule, to the point that she often forgets to eat. So when you walk into her office after a long day and offer up your neck? She practically melts, before hugging you tight and telling you how much you mean to her.

She normally hates giving you anything more than a gentle peck when in public, but please expect to be pushed up against the nearest surface as soon as you’re alone.

She loves it when you rest your head on her chest, or vice versa.

She’s bad with words, especially when you first start dating, but she always shows you how much she loves you. Her favourite way to do so is by taking care of you, bringing you a snack when she smells you getting hungry (blood sugar maybe?), or reading to you when you’re sad.

She loves calling you little one, darling, dragâ, and dove.

Cassandra ⚔️

Cassandra hates doing anything that could make her seem weak or soft in public. So hugs, hand holding, cuddling? Absolutely not.

She can and will push you up against the nearest wall to make out with you. She likes knowing that other people see, so that they know you belong to her.

But in private? You can’t convince me she wouldn’t love having her hair played with, and if you scratch her scalp? She will moan.

She’s not used to gentle displays of affection, especially at the beginning of your relationship. But after she warms up to it? She loves it, privately of course.

She especially enjoys having you sit in her lap while she’s sharpening her weapons. Often using your skin to test if they’re good enough, if she doesn’t smell blood as soon as she presses it up against you it’s not sharp enough.

She loves your blood, everything about it, so when she comes home from a particularly annoying hunt and finds you on her bed with your neck exposed for her? She growls before swarming right on top of you.

After drinking from you, she likes to lay on top of you and bury her face in your neck savouring your scent and taste.

Normally, if you’re alone, she likes to intertwine her fingers with yours or pull you onto her lap.

Shockingly, she’s incredibly clingy. Not so much as Dani, but still, very clingy. So if you’re especially busy or have to make a trip into town on any given day she’ll whine and complain until you get back.

She loves it when you trace her scars, she’ll often tell you the stories of how she “won” them to calm you down if you’re upset. She often tells you stories of her hunts, not only to introduce you to that part of her, but to analyse your expression for any hint of fear.

She often falls asleep on top of you, she likes how warm you are, and being able to protect you.

Cass is horrible with her words. Like. Horrible. Before you started dating she called you her blood bag… to flirt. She is b a d with expressing how much she loves you. So she shows you. She often kills maids who are rude to you and gifts you certain parts of them. After the fourth pair of eyes you had to explain to her organs weren’t exactly a gift you could keep. So she started bringing you teeth.

She likes calling you pet, little one, doll, morsel, snack,and (sigh) blood bag

Daniela 💌

She absolutely loves physical affection, and she truly doesn’t care what other people think. She constantly has to be touching you, or she will whine until she is.

Obviously, she’s the most clingy of her family, and the best cuddler. Like, are you sad? Bonk, Dani’s got ya.

You can’t convince me she wouldn’t love to sit in your lap to read, she loves it. She often reads aloud to you when you’re upset, and loves the same being done for her.

She loves it when you hold her, whether it be her hand, or her thigh, she constantly wants your hand on her.

She loves hugging you, like, absolutely loves it. She loves feeling your arms wrap around her and hold her to you, she says it makes her feel calm. I swear to the gods a hug from this girl could probably cure my depression.

She wants to spend as much time as physically possible with you every single day, which often leads to you not finishing your work.

When she’s particularly hungry, she loves pulling you against her before burying her head into the crook of your neck and inhaling as much of your scent as she can. She always marks you up before drinking from you, to show everyone you’re hers.

During the colder months, she enjoys nestling under a pile of blankets with you. Often giggling when you squeak at the feeling of her freezing hands against your sides.

She loves kissing you, it doesn’t matter to her who sees, all that she cares about if being able to feel your lips on hers.

She loves being treated like a princess, bow for her or twirl her? She is squealing and giggling in delight.

She loves spending time with you while reading, but, (when it’s warm enough out for her to go outside) she often drags you out to the garden to make flower crowns together.

She loves sleeping curled into you, with her arm flung around your waist and her head buried in your shoulder.

She like calling you more cheesy and romantic pet names, and expects the same from you. She calls you things like my love, dearest, sweetheart, little human, and her Knight. (If you call her princess she will melt)

Quick question. What are the batfamily individual interactions with J’onn? cheers!

I couldn't think of an interaction with every batfam member (and there's so many of them) so here's some!

J'onn enjoys Cassandra's quiet company. He's empathetic with people who communicate differently than what's considered the norm since he grew up with a non-telepath brother. Eventually Cass opens up and asks to learn sign with J'onn.

Damian can't stand J'onn initially. But J'onn is really patient with him, getting Damian to soften up. He ends up really liking J'onn as a comforting parental figure, but he's not going to admit that!

He can talk to animals so that makes him pretty cool, I guess!!

Jason's also cold to J'onn at first because he doesn't care for another guy with angsty family baggage. J'onn respects this! He gives him space, which Jason quietly appreciates. As time passes, Jason learns it's a little too easy to open up to J'onn :y

Alfred gets J'onn into tea! Whenever J'onn visits Wayne Manor he likes to take a moment to talk to Alfred because he finds the life Alfred lives fascinating.

J'onn is pretty familiar with Barbara because he asks for her help as Oracle sometimes! They get along well. I like to think J'onn knows what her fav coffee place is and always grabs her a cup when he visits.

I didn't draw this but I like to think both J'onn and Ma'alefa'ak bump into Kate Kane sometimes and they both think she's really cool.

For safety purposes, she reasons

You know, she enjoys being close to you, and likes to personally ensure your safety

You don’t mind, you like the little winged companion travelling with you

Usually, she sends out one or two flies to hover near or on top of you

Often, you allow the small insects to sit on your shoulder as you go about your day

During those times, you often feel her nuzzle against your neck or shoulders, even in such a separated form of her swarm, eager to receive contact

You’d never think of denying it to her

Then, there are other times, such as when you’re kept busy for painfully long

Now, sometimes when you’re working on finishing up some papers, you’ll have your girlfriend sit patiently

Yet, as time drags on, Bela gets restless and bored

Instead, she swarms off, and leaves you with a couple of her flies

You consider them your companions in such times, your tiny assistants eager to bring you what you need

Often, they retrieve little things for you, such as paper clips

They purr happily when you praise them and allow them to drop the items in your hand, their tiny wings flapping excitedly, their little arms and legs rubbing along one another

At other times, you see the tiny insects flap their wings in a desperate attempt to lift a pencil multiple times their size and weight

Upon satisfying you and bringing you all you need, even the little insects come to rest for once

You watch as they all huddle together in a pile of flies at the edge of your desk

Then, silent purring is heard, so quiet you must hold your breath and lean in to even hear it

However, the sound is unmistakably a small version of the purrs your girlfriend is capable of doing

The pile of insects lays, mostly unmoving, as you work, and only sometimes can you spot an insect moving about

When you finish your work at last, they all seem to come alive again, tiny wings flapping in an attempt to reach Bela when she swarms back into the room

You smile fondly at her

Cassandra

She insists on being close to you

Cassandra is, even if she would rather face a snowstorm in the middle of December than admit it, very clingy and protective

You’re her precious lamb. Her lover. Her everything

She often feels anxiety when she doesn’t know where you are, even if she attempts to keep this a secret

The castle is grand, and dangerous. She worries. She knows, her family isn’t the only threat here

As such, Cassandra likes to keep some of her flies attached to you

She tries to keep these a secret too. Opting for hiding around corners or far up, little insects attempting to stay hidden

When you catch one and clasp your hollowed palms over one of her little insects, she tenses. Each time, without fail, a dark crimson blush on her cheeks and a frustrated, embarrassed snarl passing her lips

When encouraged to be less secretive about her little flies, she opts for travelling by pocket. Yours

Cassandra likes it best when you happen to wear a top with a front pocket at your chest. When controlling one of her flies, she likes to stay huddled up in there

It’s warm, and close to you. Two things that are among ger favorite things in the world. Not that she’d admit that

She stays like this every day, whether in the dungeons torturing poor souls, hunting out in the forest, taunting her sisters or exploring the outside

A fly is always with you, tucked in your pocket, its little head peeking out and its little wings flapping angrily whenever someone dares get too close, and flapping happily whenever you offer a tiny droplet of blood to the insect

You know, normally this would mean your girlfriend is purring. Alas, you don’t hear it when it comes from only a single fly

Cue to Cassandra gritting her teeth in aggravation when she begins purring and blushing in the middle of “playing” with a prisoner

On rare occasions, you find her completely spread out- not, the usual way

You still chuckle when you sit at your desk to tend to your hobby, Cassandra’s head on your lap, and find yourself surrounded by piles of flies

With her body somewhat out together enough to allow her to lean against you and keep her head in your lap, she sleeps soundly

On the window sill, lie two piles of flies, each seemingly basking in the sun. They, like Cassandra as a whole, seem to almost purr and vibrate with happiness

On your desk are the next two piles. One for each side, little insects sleeping and taking up your space. Before your girlfriend fell asleep, you noticed the tiny heads of the insects cocking and tilting from side to side to examine your work

And lastly, the pile on the bed, spread out and nuzzled against the soft fabric of the pillows and blankets, equally purring and twitching at times

You giggle whenever you gently bump your fingertip against a fly and it makes your girlfriend whine in her sleep

Daniela

Before seeing it for yourself, you never really gave her nature a thought

Of course, you know of her flies. Naturally

You just never saw them as individuals. Daniela is a swarm. An entity. A whole

You never assumed her flies could exist independently from one another, controlled separately by your girlfriend, or even not controlled at all

As such, you’re quite surprised when you walk into your room one day and find a pile of flies on your bed, rubbing up against your pillows, others merely sleeping seemingly comfortably

And yet, Daniela is nowhere in sight

Upon scooping the little insects up, they rub up against your palms instead. You giggle at the light, ticklish feeling

When you enter Daniela’s room and find her lying down and reading on the bed, the insects rush forwards to reconnect with what you assume must be a part of her back

She grins, her smile and eyes wide when she sees you

“Join me, my love!”

How could you deny such a sweet request?

Still, as you settle in next to your girlfriend, you notice a few stray flies buzzing about in the room

Some cuddled up in the shirt of yours you left her, as though eager to cover themselves in the scent that must cling to it

Others basking in the sunny spot on the window sill, while two others sit curiously on Daniela’s fingers, their many eyes taking in the book pages as she reads

A few move off her body, leaving little holes where they used to be

Daniela doesn’t seem to notice

Not even her voice wavers or her smile falters as the little insects move away and fly through the room

You feel the insects and the featherlight touch of little legs on your skin, as though they, like your clingy girlfriend, tried to cuddle up to you

You feel them on your shoulders and on top of your head, little legs tangled in your hair, little wings flapping happily

Others settle on your arm, climbing and seemingly playing with one another

You wonder whether Daniela is even aware of it

You hear the light purring coming from your girlfriend, and feel the tiny insects vibrating slightly against your arm and fingers

When she closes the book and stretches, you see her sharp teeth glisten in the light just as she yawns

Her flies seem to return to her, just enough to allow her to rest her head on you and wrap her arms around you

You grin. It’s cuddling time

the batfam is affected by a truth serum and they can't avoid each other. There is no compulsion to talk but they do need to discuss how to get out of whatever plot shenanigans put them in that situation. They can't contol how much they say once they started talking tho. It's like they are listening to themselves and only after finishing the sentence do they understand what they just said. There is zero control. Who do you think has the biggest secrets of them all? (My guess is Bruce or Dick.) Who gets hurt the most and why and what are the consequences?

Dick definitely has the most secrets, but here’s the thing. I think everyone’s kinda hurt by him keeping these secrets at first, but then, they’re all better for it. The Batfam is just the biggest miscommunication trope, and actually communicating would probably fix them.

I also feel like Bruce would not be able to stop telling each of his kids how much he loves them with every single word that comes out of his mouth.

I also feel like Duke records the whole thing.

Dick is just a hard person in general to read for anyone.

And this is coming from a mind reader and empath.

But in terms of Cass, I think it may be because he's the only one whom she can't tell what he's thinking without him saying something. For example with Tim,

Batgirl (2000) Issue #59

Even though they're just sitting there silently, Cass can identify every emotion that Tim's emoting without him saying a word. However with Dick, she only learns about him by watching his interactions with other people.

Nightwing (1996) Issue #81

She can still read his fighting movements but she doesn't have the same level of emotional understanding of him through body language that she has on everyone else. I guess it comes with him being a born performer. It's like her trying to read Alfred given that Alfred and Dick both understand and bond with each other over their acting abilities.

Another thing about Dick and Cass is that Dick is able to read Cass as easily as Cass is able to read other people.

In fighting, just like she can easily see his form

He's able to identify her weakness and analyze her fighting technique just like she's able to do his. Although Cass wins because she's always quicker on the draw than everyone. It comes with her almost meta-like ability to identify weak points in someone's body language.

So that's canon for emotional understanding I think but unless I have the direct canon panel I can't say for sure.

Dick, Cass, and Bruce being the only ones of the bats to defeat Jason is canon.

Dick beat Jason even after being electrocuted, tranquilized, hit with fear toxin, and blown up in the Battle for the Cowl

Yet even after all this he still wins. He accidentally uses too much strength though and knocks Jason off the ledge

Dick is always controlling his power. He's careful in the way he fights and goes easy on everyone especially if they're his friends of allies (evidenced in Vigilante comic), but when he loses that carefully maintained control, he always wins. There are other instances where Dick wins too but to give one that evens the playing field (where neither holds back), Battle for the Cowl is the best example.

This idea of holding back ties into Bruce too. Bruce doesn't restrain himself nearly half as much as Dick does but he does it too. When he doesn't hold back against Jason, he wins

It's kind of a one-sided fight. He also beats Tim when Tim is Robin but it's a little unfair to use that given than Jason is a trained adult and Tim is sort of just starting out. Also to be fair to Tim, Jason catches him by surprise and hiding but overall I'd say Jason still wins.

He also beats Damian in a fight rather easily
