The first painting of my 20 monster painting series. This one is called “King Kong Chase”. This painting was inspired by a true event. About 18 years ago, I was going to a day care center next to Universal Studios Hollywood for a job interview. I got lost and drove into the set of Universal Studios and almost drove into the set of King Kong. That’s why King Kong is chasing the car.

The next 19 paintings will have monsters and animals as main characters. One of the 19 paintings will be of The Shire from Lord of the Rings. The monster will be a giant ogre or evil Shrek, I haven’t decide yet. Probably not Shrek, because of copyright infringement. So a giant ogre will be the main character. I wonder if painting The Shire would be copyright infringement.

Maybe I’ll simplify the houses so it won’t look exact. Actually art Youtuber made a diorama of The Shire in one of his recent videos, so it’s probably ok for me to paint The Shire. I just checked Google and there’s nothing about copyright infringement in painting The Shire. So it’s ok for me to paint The Shire. I plan to paint a giant ogre attacking The Shire.

In my monster painting series some monsters will be good some will be evil. Moby Dick will be good, because he’s carrying a boat on it’s back to cross the ocean. Giant ogre will be evil and octopus will be good. Polar bears will be snowboarding. The Chinese fictional villain King Bull will be skateboarding with two squirrels. The above descriptions are about 4 paintings as for the rest of the paintings, I am still thinking.
