End of the Day

So before i say anything the members of 1D who wrote this song are Liam and Louis. (Obviously there were other people writing but they were also contirbutors). Anyway so I feel like this song is a ziam and larry song. I think Liam wrote the first verse and Louis wrote the second. So onto lyrics. “thereof was pretty windy and she didn’t say a word.” First of all the pronouns mean nothing because obviously they can’t say he, but think about roof. Liam was seen on a roof

This was the night fo zayn’s birthday party. “Party dying downstairs had nothing left to do just me her and the moon.” So liams story with zayn they said i love you on the roof. onto the chorus. In the middle of the chorus the boys sing “All i know at the end of the day is you love who you love there ain’t no other way.” This line is very important for the song being more gay related than straight. The line sounds a lot like love is love. So the line is basically saying you love how you love a guy or a girl it doesn’t matter and who can’t change or control that. At the end of that they sing “If there’s something i’ve learned form a million mistakes.” I’ve learned that it’s ok to be gay after millions for girls and trying to change. Now onto the verse I feel that Louis mainly wrote. “The priest thinks it’s the devil... but girl it’s only you.” Lots of christians think being gay is a sin so.. makes sense in my mind. Lastly the bridge. “When the sun goes down I know that you and me and everything will be alright and when the city’s sleeping you and I can stay awake and keep on dreaming.” At night is when the boys could really be free because everyone was sleeping and no one was awake with constant eyes on them, they could worry a little less, and they can just be with each other. (I apologize for any typos).
