I think something that genuinely kinda hurts to think about is that to a far greater degree than the rest of the Thieves and divorced from the mechanical necessity of RPG party members immediately befriending you to get the plot moving and bolstering your party, Ryuji kinda seems like he latched onto Joker because he was *lonely*.

As I said it's to a greater extent than the rest of the Thieves, so while others (especially Yusuke and Makoto) are lonely, the enforced isolation imposed upon Ryuji by Kamoshida is rather central to his and that arc.

Like, he has no more friends at school because the ones he did have turned on him after he hit Kamoshida, the rest of the students now regard him as a delinquent and are even further TOLD not to associate with him by teachers, and the teachers themselves look at him much the same way they do to you, thinking of him as a burden lumped upon them.

There's something so earnest and sincere about Ryuji immediately opening up to you, giving you his number, asking to hang out. It goes beyond what's just expected in one of these sorts of games and is reinforced by the fact that Ryuji, before you and the Thieves, was lonely.

Had an idea where if a Persona User dies in the Metaverse then their Persona will try to save them from death via fusion. Decided to do a quick Akechi and Ryuji just to get the idea out of my head. (In a timeline where Ryuji might have died during the escape from Shido's Palace) They would gain their Persona's abilities, strengths, and weaknesses, but also gain a weakness depending on how they died.

So like Captain Kidd, Ryuji would be weak to Wind, but have an additional weakness to Fire due to dying in an explosion.

While Robin Hood's and Loki's weaknesses would cancel each other out, but due to his death in the engine room, Akechi would have a weakness to bullets.

I just thought it was a neat idea :>

A/N This one is a short one but still hilarious one, is it more funny or more wholesome? Can this guy even be wholesome? 🤔 . This is based on me because I dont use makeup so when writing this I actually thought he was wearing mascara until I actually looked it up so I wrote what he problably would have said

“What way?” Kid grunts

“I won’t, just shut up,” He mutters under his breath, clearly still agitated

“I didn’t even do anything!” They hiss

“You do have one of the most punchable faces,” he growls

“Im you’re sibling? Our faces aren’t that different.”

“Yours is just more punchable.” he rolls his eyes

“Says you! Yours is begging to be punched with that ugly ass mascara.”

“It’s eyeliner, not mascara, dumbass.”

They raise an eyebrow at him

“You can’t even tell the bloody difference?” The captain huffs and rolls his eyes

“You can?”

“Of course I can. I’m not a dumbass like you,” he grumbles

They snicker

“Yes, because not knowing what eyeliner is makes me a dumbass”

“Well, you’re obviously not the brightest bulb in the box,” he snorts

“Well, you're definitely not the brightest in that fucking box either, the emo lightbulb maybe.”

“That's it! You want to be punched that bad, then come here!” he sneers

They squeak, getting out of their chair and running off, laughter following them

i love this fluffy coat with his orange symbol, it’s such a slay. this is in early dressrosa + the filler right before it. he’s so cute eating his onigiri, i love this outfit.

buggy

it’s impel down. it’s so simple yet so perfect. i love him so much, and his ponytail looks amazing. he’s so real. what a king.

smoker

he. this arc is actually insane for him. punk hazard made me want this man SO BAD. but anyways, in regards to the outfit, it’s a slay. the open shirt, slay. the four cigars, slay. less is more, he used to have way too many damn cigars.

crocodile

what a king. his marineford outfit is so good, impel down and marineford were the first time i realized why people think he’s so hot. trans king. his off the shoulder coat and green scarf are everything.

i don’t remember if this was the end of alabasta or what, but she looks so pretty in this outfit !! her body jewelry, her earrings, the flower !! pink is also just such a cute color on her.

this is in sabaody, and though so far where i am in one piece (beginning of dressrosa) his outfit is pretty consistent, he doesn’t always wear the blue sash, which i really like !! i love his weird lizard lookin pants and his spiky jacket.

punk hazard tashigi !! i love her light pink coat and her cute lil floral shirt !! also special shout out to tashigi in smoker’s body, she looks so baby girl it’s insane.

GREASY ACE GREASY ACE !! i love him. though i prefer ace shirtless like the iconic slut he is, outfit wise, this one was pretty good. he had his cool lil flame details n everything, which is always a slay.

okay so a lot of people prefer her post timeskip outfit, but i love this one !! it’s so avril lavigne scenemo coded, i adore her so much !! and her eyes !! so creepy-cute !!

my boyyyy !! you can’t really see it well in this, but it’s just your everyday marine fit. i love his bandana and glasses and overall it’s just so cute, i love him.
