a/n: I’m quite glad because I finally have this story almost done! As of now I’m estimating 5 to 7 more chapters left so that’s exciting! anyway let’s get on with the story! (Also for those wondering yes I’m also working on requests from my latest post)

a shift back to the original perspective

“I can’t deal with this any longer Lucifer it’s like torture!” Asmo cried, as he leaned onto his older brother’s shoulder.

“Asmodeus get off of me and pull yourself together” Lucifer sighed.

“But-“

“Enough” the eldest said, raising his voice.

Asmo was taken back a bit at his brother's harsh tone but nonetheless went back to moping. He couldn’t really blame Lucifer because everyone was on edge due to Mc’s harsh behavior. Well everyone except the residents in Purgatory Hall. They were constantly visited by Mc which caused inevitable tension between them and the brothers.

However what no one could figure out was how this drastic change in personality came to be. After all Mc was perfectly fine at the beginning of the week, everything was fine at the beginning of the week.

Well everyone guessed the old saying was true, you don’t know what you have until you lose it. And they sure as hell were upset about losing your personality.

It started off with them believing you had a bad dream of sorts, however when you returned after your stay at Purgatory Hall still upset at them, the brothers racked their brains trying to figure out what they did to make you so upset.

However when they confronted you about the issue you laughed in their faces. Saying something along the lines of “If you seriously don’t know what’s wrong then why waste your breath taking to me, go make yourself useful and bother someone else”

The reaction they got was unexpected to say the least and you hadn’t planned on opening up anytime soon so the brothers went to their last resort. They all had asked Solomon to do a bit of investigating for them as a favor of sorts; of course they would have asked the prince or his butler but as of late you wanted nothing to do with them.

Diavolo felt hurt by this fact because you were his exchange student and at the end of the day it was his job to make sure you were comfortable down here. And if he couldn’t even do that then what was the purpose of this program. So he too went to Solomon asking for a favor, even for a second Simeon had crossed his mind too, but he decided against it.

So with everything set in motion the angels and sorcerer decided to invite you over to try a new batch of tea Simeon received from the Celestial Realm after classes had finished. They were also able to get Luke a private lesson with Barbatos to ensure he didn’t get caught up in drama. The younger angel knew something was up with you however he humored the other two because he wanted you to get back to normal, plus it gave him time to perfect a new recipe.

You and Solomon had finished up your last minute studying for the day and were currently on your way to Purgatory Hall to meet Simeon for tea.

As small talk was made you decided to bring up a question that had been plaguing you for a few days.

“Solomon, I have a question to ask,” you said, facing the sorcerer in question.

“What is it?” He replied, curious to know what you would bring up.

“How many demons do I have a pact with?”

The question took Solomon by surprise and he gave you a concerned look. After all he hardly remembered each of his 72 pacts, but for you to ask such a question when you only had seven was a bit well…concerning.

“You have 7 Mc, one with each of the brothers. Why do you ask?”

“Hmm oh no reason” you responded.

It’s as you thought, this was either the future, a dream, or something else entirely different. After all the current you wouldn’t have a bunch of pictures of those demons on your wall. And last time you checked there were two extra pact marks that weren’t previously there, both bearing different symbols you weren’t familiar with. So it had to belong to Lucifer and Belphegor.

It was a bit odd really, because you had known the brothers to be clingy but now they were just going overboard with their affection and concerns. But in all honesty it was hilarious to you that they didn’t understand why you were mad at them, since you remembered to remind them everyday. No matter though it wouldn’t be long before you blew up on them anyway.

“Are you okay Mc?” Solomon asked, nudging you a bit with his arm.

“Huh? Oh yeah sorry I guess I just spaced out a bit”

“Well it’s fine, since we’re already here”

“Oh I guess you’re right,” you laughed.

“Hey you two! The tea just finished so why don’t you have a seat, I’ll grab some cookies too” Simeon said, opening the door to greet you both.

You and Solomon smiled and headed towards the couch in the middle of the living room. Once the two of you got settled Simeon joined you with the tea and refreshments he promised.

So far everything was going well, the two thought. You were always comfortable around them so they never really struggled to get you to talk or open up about any problems. You were currently talking about your day when you had made a snarky comment about one of the brothers then continued on with your story.

Solomon thought now would be a good time to question you since you were the one to bring up the demons. He looked towards Simeon for a reassuring answer and the latter nodded in agreement.

“So Mc what’s the deal with you and the brothers lately? Well actually what did those demons do to upset you this much” Solomon asked, laughing just a bit.

You cocked your eyebrow at his statement and narrowed your eyes the slightest before responding. “I’m still upset for the same reason I’ve always been, nothing has changed except for the fact they refuse to leave me alone now”

“The same reason? What have they done previously” Simeon asked, now curious about your answer.

“I’ve told both of you why I’m upset with them countless times?” You questioned “ Or did you both just forget”

“I’m sorry Mc but I can’t remember you complaining about the brothers in a way like that” Solomon replied.

“Yes he’s right, if anything the brothers are nothing but nice to you? Well there are those few times where they drag you into their schemes, but overall they love and dote on you very much Mc” Simeon added.

“Oh yeah because they all loved and doted on me when Belphegor killed me” you responded rolling your eyes.

Both men went silent and shared a shocked expression wondering if the other heard what had come out of your mouth correctly.

“Belphegor did what to you..?” Solomon asked.

You glanced over him and responded cautiously. “He killed me. I’ve told you both this before why are you making those faces”

“We’ve never heard of anything like this before Mc..” Simeon responded horrified.

“Well if you must know, then I’ll explain it again”

And you did just that. You gave them every single detail of that day to the two sitting right in front of you; and like a good audience they listened.

They listened to how you explained the sensation of dying, as well as the way it felt to be betrayed when you were only trying to help. They listened to every word that left your mouth good and bad, waiting, hoping, even praying that this wasn’t true.

It couldn’t be. There was absolutely no way the brothers would do that to you, they loved you. After all there was no way Diavolo or Lucifer could let you die, it was their job to keep you safe.

Is what they thought until you explained to them the conditions Diavolo and Barbatos gave you when you returned back in time. In a sense Diavolo could even be at fault for your death.

The more they listened the worse their heads felt, there wasn’t any way this could be real, yet the way you describe each detail with such emotion they couldn’t believe anything otherwise.

After you finished they each took turns asking an occasional question waiting for your response. However one thing was for certain, you were to stay away from those demons at all costs and they would have a word with them tomorrow.

The doors to the RAD student council room opened to reveal one human and angel considerably angry.

“What’s up with you two?” Mammon asked, confused.

“Did the talk with Mc go well?” Diavolo questioned, a bit concerned by their reaction.

“It went considerably well actually” Solomon responded crossing his arms

“That’s great! What did you three talk about?” Asmo exclaimed.

“Oh you know the usual, Mc’s day, the tea I prepared, classes and such too.” Simeon started. “But one thing each of you failed to mention was the fact that Belphegor here killed Mc”

Each demon in the room tensed at the mention of that day. No one knew what to say, after all it was just agreed collectively to never be brought up again. So why now? Why was this issue arising again? Why was Mc still talking about it? Hadn’t they forgiven Belphie?

“Where did you hear that from?” Lucifer was the first to break the silence.

“From Mc themselves, after all they relayed each detail to us yesterday” Solomon responded.

“But Mc never brings up stuff like that! So why now?” Mammon added.

“I actually might have a theory about that.” Barbatos said, clearing his throat.

“Oh, well please enlighten us,” Simeon replied.

“If my Lord wishes so then I will” Barbatos commented.

“Go ahead” Diavolo responded, eager to hear what his butler was talking about.

“I believe the Mc we are currently interacting with is not our own”

“What do ya mean by that?” Mammon asked, shooting out of his chair.

“I mean that this Mc is from a different timeline, and ours is in another one. In simple terms our Mc switched with the one we are currently interacting with, due to a certain curse”

“A curse?” Satan asked.

“Yes a curse, however I am still unsure of the true nature of this curse so I cannot estimate when our Mc will return”

“If that’s the case then what’s the difference between the two Mc’s?” Levi asked, now confused.

“Well it appears that this Mc still hasn’t forgiven you for killing them?” Solomon added.

“If they have experienced the same things our Mc has then that brings a question to wonder. Just how many timelines are there where Mc has been killed?” Simeon questioned looking toward the youngest demon brother.

Belphie hid in his pillow as his twin came up beside him for comfort. “Stop picking on Belphie, he already feels bad about the whole situation” Beel added.

“Well that’s to be expected, however Mc is mad at all of you not just Belphegor. So has it ever occurred to you to apologize to them for everything they went through? After all, I believe there were numerous accounts in the beginning of the year where each of you tried to separately endanger their life” the angel added, with the slightest bit of venom to his tone.

Each brother stared at the next waiting for one to speak up for them, however none did. Not even Lucifer.

Maybe Simeon was right, had they really never apologized to their Mc about the whole situation.

Well it was too late for that now, because no one knew when they were going to see their beloved Mc again.

What's in a name?

This has been sitting in my drafts for days now and I'm still not 100% on where I'm going but let's say this is an attempt to consolidate 'the names are mythological creatures' with the tiger symbolism surrounding Yi.

Disclaimer: not a native speaker of Thai, still learning 🙏

Let's start with the one everyone who's seen Cutie Pie should be familiar with already:

Lian Kilen Wang เหลียน กิเลน หวัง

กิเลน /gi len/ = Kilen or Qilin (like Kuea's bike) or Kirin (like Kuea's stage name)

- a chimera with the head of a (Chinese) dragon, horns/antlers, and the body of a hoofed mammal, except it's scaled

Makorn Chen มกร เฉิน

มกร /ma gawn/ = dragon; sea monster

- มกร can also be pronounced /ma ga ra/ -> Makara, as pictured next to the screencap of Makorn

- the zodiac sign Capricorn is called ราศีมกร /raa see ma gawn/ or ราศีมังกร /raa see mang gawn/

- both Capricorn and Makara are depicted as hybrid creatures, with a terrestrial front and an aquatic hind part

- มังกร /mang gawn/ is the word used for the Chinese zodiac sign Dragon, which is a Chinese dragon, as pictured on Makorn's tea set in the upper right screencap

Yi Phayak Chatdecha Chen อี้ พยัคฆ์ ฉัตรเดชา เฉิน

พยัคฆ์ /pha yak/ = tiger

In the ep. 1 opening monologue, Diao tells us exactly what the tiger stands for in this show:

It's an apex predator - but a solitary one. It's powerful and elegant - but hides profound sadness.

There's this Thai idiom- (bear with me here)

ชาติเสือต้องไว้ลาย ชาติชายต้องไว้ชื่อ

= Tigers must wear (keep up) their stripes. Men must keep up their name.

-which basically means that to be a man is to be strong, fierce, courageous etc. like a tiger and showing that for the world to see, like a tiger's stripes. A man has to make good on his name and reputation!

Not only is the show full of tiger imagery and tiger sounds for Yi's first name but he constantly mentions the Chen family (ตระกูลเฉิน /dtra guun chen/) and what they're known for:

“Jesus Christ,” Sybille hisses, sinking into the folding chair set up on the other side of Wheaty’s desk, haggard and weary from six weeks of nonstop fighting. “Are we really doin’ this shit again?”

He regards her, equally exhausted, and sighs. “It’s for morale, Dep. People gotta remember you’re human too.”

“Why?” she scowls. “Aint’ it more inspirin’ if they think I’m Wonder Woman or some shit?”

“Yeah, well, Wonder Woman has literal super powers,” Wheaty says. The attempt at levity falls flat, as Sybille levels him with a glare. “Look,” he sighs, “I know it seems counterintuitive to you, but reminding the people that you’re a person, just like them, will help inspire them to keep fighting against the Cult. Normal life is almost back in the Valley, you know? We gotta remind them that the fight’s still going.”

She’s silent for a long moment, before ultimately relenting. “Fine. Ask ya damn questions.”

So You Want to Be Famous

Since, I just did a PAC on fame I’m gonna look at my personal aspects in regards to it! I highly recommend reading this article to find your own placements!

In the article the first thing they mention are Fame (aka Leo) Degrees. 5, 17, and 29. Five represents brief fame while 29 has long lasting fame.

I only have one of these degrees. My mercury in Aquarius. I’ll gain substantial fame (if I desire) through communication. Which is funny because I have an obsession with media. Basically, communicating through artistic and digital means.

Next, Simone mentions MC/10th house. They also mention Household Name degree (28) but I don’t have this placement.

My MC was pretty close tho 😅 it was 27 degrees. Anyways my MC is also in Capricorn which isn’t a fame placement according to this article, but I see this is as supportive of my other fame placements. Capricorn is the house ruler of my 10th house, but most of my 10h placements are in Aquarius where I also have a stellium. Capricorn is very stable in my opinion, so the type of fame I’d acquire would be stable in some sense. That could be in finances, career opportunities, and so on.

Aquarius 10th house is an indication of being know as an innovator or eccentric! Which I can say is true, people often see me as weird. My Sun, Uranus, Neptune are all in my 10h in Aquarius. Mercury is also in Aquarius but in my 11th house. My Sun, Uranus, and Neptune attributes all want recognition and external attention. Basically my personality, my innovations/advancements, rebellion, and spiritually (never looked into Uranus or Neptune so this is news to me lmaooo)

With the Sun sextile my Pluto in 8h there are unconscious efforts supporting this. Which kinda relates to my 12h moon interpretation I mention later. Also, my darker/taboo interests and personality compliment my sun and why the public desires my personality. On the other hand, my Sun is squaring Jupiter. I like instant gratification and have a very outwardly bubbly personality. People like me for my darker Plutonian attributes but how I outwardly portray myself contradicts this because Jupiter is more idealistic. Sometimes I sugarcoat the truth essentially.

lmao I have a lot of aspects to my 10th house placements so imma just leave it at that. Maybe i’ll expand at a later date of y’all want me too!

Guess who has placements here….RIHANNA (lmao not me being her cult a$$ follower jsjsjsnd) and me 😌. My mercury is here in Aquarius. The way I communicate will gain cult following and I’ve been told in a lot of readings that I’ll probably write a book. But with 11th house representing online communities, I think the way I communicate through social media will garner attention. Similar to how people used to love what Rih posted in her early days with drama and tea. My Venus is also here in pisces so people will love how I love ig and the dreaminess of it. The reason were all obsessed with pisces lmao.

These are the only placements the article mentions, but I think Aries moons for some reason attract fame. Aries are leaders like Simone said. Aries moon natives (imo) lead with their emotions which is very attractive for a celebrity especially for one that is an artist. Rihanna is also an Aries Moon and so is Cardi B. My moon is in my 12th house in Aries and one degree away from a fame degree. WHICH MAKES SO MUCH SENSE. lmao my mother (and the women in my family in general) have close encounters with celebrities but for one reason or another they passed it up or (from my perspective) didn’t utilize it to their advantage. Like one of Jay Z’s albums is based off how my grandad dressed, my mom dated Jodeci and literally had to protect him in a club, and my aunt dated Kevin Durant, also my grandmother met JFK like all these random ass situations). There is something hidden in my opinion within our family related to fame across generations.

Nirvana was born with a gift to appreciate the unusual. At least, that's how her aunt would explain her all-black attire and obscurely-colored hair phase at family events. She was always a square peg in a round hole. This was something she grew used to and actually favored her individuality. There was a part of her that pitied the other girls who attempted to fit in when she grew up being shamelessly herself. Though she was labeled as an outcast, she still had something about her that drew people in. She had a great group of friends, and her fair share of experimental relationships. In short: she didn't miss anything, but she wouldn't have cared if she did. Her aunt was the one who taught her about spirituality after Nirvana had a paranormal experience at the age of 5. Whilst being in a Catholic household, Nirvana and her aunt would often sneak in order to practice their own eclectic belief. Magic, tarot cards, seances, you name it - Nirvana has dabbled in it. What no one was expecting was for her to make a career move out of it. It started in high school, she helped assist her teacher in their paranormal investigation group. It was through this teacher that she learned about anomalies and the role of the paranormal in anthropology. Her job as an investigator was just the groundwork for her BA in Anthropology with a specialization in Women and Minority Studies where she learned more about the occult across various religions and cultures as well as witchcraft and the impact and power women have within interaction, at the University of Exeter. She then went on to gain a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Stockon University in NJ. Currently, Nirvana is working on her PhD at NYU with an individualized specialization/research concentration in Parapsychology. At this point in her career, she can be seen as an expert in the occult. She actually works to help victims/survivors of cults, is still a researcher for a paranormal investigation team, and is also hosts a podcast about horror movies, the paranormal and the occult.

Nirvana is one of those people who can attract and attract and attract, but still feel alone underneath the surface. She loves knowledge and the pursuit of knowledge; If she could be a student her whole life, she would. This combination of coming across as approachable but also seeming highly intelligent, is very intimidating to most. Though, if one were to sit and speak with Nirvana, they would see she has a heart big enough to match her mind and is just an obscure nerd in her own right. She can be sarcastic and condescending if someone asks a question she deems as 'stupid'. She's known to bully as her type of flirting. She's actually not online, and prefers it that way. She's clever and witty and goes on passion-dump sprees pretty often about a new book she's reading, or about her research or podcast. She loves people who have a sense of humor. Otome Astrology: Ikki + Kent (Amnesia)

Running people's birth charts is how I relax nowadays, as is trying to guess someone's placements from their personality.

So today I'm exploring the secrets behind everyone's favourite Amnesia (b)romance (although ngl I have a soft spot for Shin and Toma).

A note: I read with the houses in Placidus, I have my reasons for it other than how it's usually the default in softwares, but I won't go into that here.

Also, I made them born at 3.45pm for a laugh (since I was born at 3.45am) and it checked out for my guesses for their house placements so I feel like the Universe is blessing my insights ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

It contains spoilers for both Memories and Later x Crowd so proceed at your discretion.

𝐼𝓀𝓀𝒾

Our obvious Bi King was 22 at release, so assuming the game took place contemporary to the time it was created it makes him a 1989 birth. Also I ran Tokyo for convenience, I'm not entirely sure of the geography outside of the events of the actual routes. It would only matter if a different enough coordinate to change the angles, which we are guessing anyway.

June 1st makes him a Gemini Sun and Taurus Moon. As the Spades character he is also an outwardly intimidating sexy character who is in fact a cinnamon roll when you get to know him, so imho a Scorpio Rising.

His fame is a byproduct of his wish to be loved, which personally feels a lot like the Scorpio experience, in the sense that many can relate to the longing to be seen and loved that resulted in it. But also, in his case, he has a Leo South Node at the anaretic degree, which means he is more comfortable under the spotlight than the average Scorpio.

Now, spotlight is a loose concept, it could be anything from being the leader of a neighbourhood gang of kids who play together (or overgrown kids as is the case not once but multiple times in the games. I love them so much) to the level of fame of his Leo Sun seiyuu. But if you are here reading this you likely know already how that played out...

His Moon in the 7th house aside from giving him a mutual 7th house synastry with me is a very sensual placement. Hello, Gemini Sun Taurus Moon is Miyano's combination, true that he has a Leo Venus and I would pay anything for him to spill the tea on whether it's on his Ascendant because that's my guess. But still...

Mercury in Taurus and a Capricorn stellium make him practical and good at taking charge, which we know he is because who else on earth studies accounting 😂 like even I have more Capricorn planets and I wouldn't dare.

Sun in the 8th and a Gemini stellium of personal planets only (meaning it's a stronger influence on him than the Capricorn one, especially because one of the luminaries is in it) in that house accounts for a few big themes of his plot line: the secrecy around his wish, the apparent womanising, that he is a flirt and if you have survived that one story in LxC with your ovaries intact congratulations because the i n t e n s i t y, I swear 🛐

Not exactly the best kept secret that I love Taniyama.

Finally, his Mars in Cancer shows imho in how impulsive he gets when MC is concerned. That's not very 9th house specific the way most sources talk about this house, but I have a Scorpio Rising so can speak for how the energy shows up for me and I can see it also in the teacher-student vibe of their relationship in Toma's route.

I think the argument for Scorpio Rising is solid.

𝓚𝓮𝓷𝓽

In spite of his lack of ability with chores, Kent (25yo in 2011, so 1986 birth) has a Virgo Sun at the anaretic degree, and the hardcore way in which he goes about learning about domestic affairs as well as his devoted character makes up for it. He too has a Taurus Moon, which as the other end of the axis from Scorpio (which is mine) can easily be prone to making him appear unfeeling due to being too practical.

That's without touching upon the question of how much is nature and how much is nurture, given his parents…however, plausible that they are two heavy Air placements people raising a child with enough Air to be influenced, which brings me to my guess for his Rising sign. Aquarius.

Sun in the 7th house makes him a confident person who benefits from strong 1:1 relationships, and the fuss he made around marriage in LxC is very Virgo. He couldn't be more serious about caring for the MC, even with the complication around his career taking him abroad.

That's a theme reflected in his having the Midheaven and 10th house in Sagittarius, the sign most associated with going abroad and higher education. Saturn falls on his Midheaven conjunct in this random time, but it would still be close enough throughout the whole transit of the sign to be relevant. Saturn conjunct the Midheaven brings a high sense of responsibility towards his career, which he clearly shows.

Venus in Scorpio (aside from the synastry with Ikki) is a quietly intense placement, with a bit of a tendency to feel like you're asking too much of the other so you may hold back. And he spends so much time beating himself up for wanting very normal boyfriend things. Again the random time affects the house it falls in, and I'd be inclined to see it fall in the Scorpio traverse of the 8th instead. But I'm not going to bother running a chart again until the cusps fit that. Mars in the 12th house is said to be emotionally repressed, and lastly the other placement that I think supports the Aquarius rising thesis is his nodal axis being Aries - Libra. You might be thinking: "He's abrasive though, are you sure he fits a South Node in Libra?

Yes. He is the pacifier of the group, always sweeping in with logic to settle the situation, and has a really hard time getting things for himself which is an Aries thing. Except when it comes to work, with that Saturnian commitment to it. Also I had an estimation it'd be Aquarius or Libra before I run the chart based on how he appears to me to be more Libra than Virgo (given that I knew the birthday was on the 23rd so on the cusp) in a number of ways, but when I saw the Sun fell in Virgo and the Moon in Taurus I went for Aquarius because while he is fairly Venusian he isn't Venusian enough for two Venus-signs in the big 3, and he has Mercury in Libra to account for what I was saying about the South Node as well as his being highly intellectual.

I excluded Gemini because he isn't Mercurial enough, not in the way it shows in Gemini (Mercury after all rules Virgo too), which leaves Aquarius out of the Air signs, which I had no doubt was his Rising because the only other option I would entertain is Capricorn but he doesn't strike me as a triple Earth personality even if he is quite ambitious. I also think his Moon checks out more in the 3rd than 4th or 5th house since he is a PhD candidate and fluent in a foreign language.

tea or coffee: Tea, I think that there is something peaceful about drinking tea. I don't drink coffee - I've seen a lot of my co-workers being heavily dependent on it and I didn't want to be the same 😂 I've tried a couple of times, but I didn't like it. Coffee smells good, though.

dogs or cats: I love both. I had personally only dogs (my mom doesn't like cats), but I was living with a roommate that had cats and they were my precious things ❤️ I have no plans on getting pets again (But I love playing with my friend's pets), so I have no idea of which I would choose 😂

can you play an instrument? No, I tried learning acoustic guitar when I was a teenager, but I didn't learn much. Where I'm currently living, I have a digital piano, so I'm thinking about trying to learn how to play it. So far, I only played the initial notes of that Adams family song 😂

Some years ago I did a backpacking trip in Patagonia and got to see some of the most beautiful things in my life. got to see the penguins very close and there were some mountain trails that I thought were impossible, but guess what, I did 😂 And the feeling of being up there, seeing the world tiny below, or being able to walk on a glacier... surely some good memories I cherish.

what languages do you speak? Brazilian Portuguese is my first language, I also speak English, and Spanish, I'm trying to learn French, and I know some bits of Italian and German.

do you have any hobbies? I love listening to music, reading, writing, and playing video games. I used to play board games too. And I like to dance (those dance fitness/zumba choreographs, nothing professional, and I can't dance those rhythms you dance with a partner - I dance alone and preferably with no one watching 😂). Getting to walk in nature or just spending time admiring the view of the lake can be considered hobbies too?
