[The Anime of the Day series will feature two anime each day from the list of shows that, for a variety of reasons, didn’t make it to the final list of shows that will be joining the tournament.]

“Toy AD Insanity”

Summary:

Set in a world where the most popular sport involves hitting targets with bottlecaps in an elimination tournament with special toys known as “bottleman”. One boy, Coga Kota, discovers a special “bottleman” which allows him to get “fizzed up”. His rival is Hocari Ryo who is the son of the bottleman association CEO, who is involved in some kind of consipracy with Coga’s special bottleman forcing him into the world of professional bottleman.

Propaganda:

SO. The protagonist’s friend is a man named “ponta” it is later on in the series revealed to be the ex-bottle king Citrus. Citrus was so good at tournaments that no one could compete with him and this gave him depression. He then disappeared from the bottleman world. After being forced back in due to internal company politics causing the bottleman association to split into 2 factions that want different kinds of bottleman tournaments citrus reveals himself and starts his own. This now brings us to Haku. Haku one of the Bottle Stars which are high ranking bottleman professionals. Haku has a split personality where one half is very rude and cruel to other while the other is very kind. This developed because of citrus leaving the bottleman world as he looked up to him as his own king (this is extremely homoerotic). The relationship between these two and the overall drama which is way more than you would expect from a kids show really drew me into it. Everyone should give it a shot :)

Synopsis of Cap Kakumei Bottleman DX English Subbed

Bottleman is a shooting sport that has grown in popularity all over the world. After accidentally acquiring the mysterious new Bottleman Colamaru DX, the main character, Cota Coga, is drawn into the world of Bottle Battles and gradually becomes obsessed with the game. The other main character, Ryo Hocari, who was educated as a gifted student but despised Bottleman for some reason, returns to the world of Bottle Battles for a specific reason. Cota and Ryo engage in Bottle Battles, sometimes clashing, sometimes cooperating. They face rivals who want to become the Bottle King, the pinnacle of all Bottle Battlers, as well as annoying friends. A mysterious organisation seeks out Colamaru DX's revolutionary function. After a series of events, including the mysterious disappearance of the Bottle King, are Cota and Ryo still aiming to be the Bottle King? A brand new Bottle Battle has begun, full of mystery and exhilaration!

Takara Tomy has posted the first English-dubbed episode of the web anime for its Cap Kakumei Bottleman (Cap Revolution Bottleman) franchise. The web anime debuted on Takara Tomy’s YouTube channel in Japanese on October 9, 2020.

Itsuro Kawasaki directed the episode at Gaina (formerly Fukushima Gainax), and Sayaka Ono. The rock band The50kaitenz is contributing the theme song.

Japanese Fans Pick Their Favorite Fall 2020 TV Anime by Online Voting

    One month after the "anticipation ranking" in early October, Japan's largest mobile phone operator NTT Docomo reported the result of its regular online research survey to ask the users of its streaming service dAnime Store which fall 2020 TV anime they were still watching as their favorites.

  The survey was conducted for one week between October 23 and 30, and a total of 151,791 votes were cast for the 46 titles that were available via the service. How have the Japanese viewers' opinions changed or not after they actually started watching the fall 2020 series?
