Toyota Pace Car at Watkins Glen International. Best picture I got of it; after having to sharpen, add light, and screenshot, the quality is horrid. So fun to see some Japanese cars at American/Euro dominated races.
Shot on Canon EOS Rebel T7 9/10/23, Watkins Glen International, Edited in Photoshop 2023. Screenshot of original due to file upload limit.

I've decided I'm going to be a book blogger, and I want this year to be the one I finally buy a camera. I'm increasingly disappointed by my phone camera quality, but I don't think I want to replace a good phone just for the camera. I think its time to commit to a travel size camera. I was looking for one that could double as a vlogging camera as well so that I could take it on trips, or to faire, and I could also film book reviews or take product photos. The Canon EOS M6 Mark II Mirrorless Digital Camera is what I'm leaning toward.
The size is right and the customer reviews are very positive. Here's a review that I found helpful:
A big selling point for me was the adjustable screen for vlogging, and the mic jack.

The Canon EOS R6 Mark II: First Impressions
The Canon EOS R6 Mark II is a relatively early upgrade to the popular Canon EOS R6 camera and not only fixes some of its pain points but also introduces a few new features. The notable among them:
Resolution increased to 24MP from 20MP
Uncropped 4K60p video; Slow-mo at FHD180p
RAW Burst Mode with 40fps and pre-recording
There are other improvements to recording time caps for video, battery life, etc making the R6 Mark II a versatile camera for stills as well as video. I hope to get some shooting time in with the camera this month and be able to share a few sample shots!
